I recommend the printer as I am happy with it. I don't know on the heat transfer paper since I have never used that and can't recommend something I have not tried.
Hi I was wondering if you can help... I have the exact same printer and I ran out of ink I bought the same ink from Amazon but it’s giving me a reading saying you can only put one “set of ink at a time” what am I doing wrong or is it the wrong ink? ..,, thank you
Did you replace all the ink, i.e. black and the colours? It might be requiring that you replace everything at once for some reason...I have never gotten this message. You might have to call HP help desk on this one as when I Googled your error message the other thing I saw was if the ink is counterfeit, was refilled from another printer, or a trail cartridge (whenever the heck that is). If you are only replacing the one I would try that first before messing with HP help.
@@PUREreviews basically I just turned it off and on and tried again. Thank you again!!! I might have more questions in the future since I’m so printer illiterate lol
Right now you can get it on Amazon, here is the link: amzn.to/3hBObO2 Amazon had a couple of options of just the printer or ink bundles, however it does not look like Dealscope carries the same model number right now. Hope that helps
Have you noticed that you have to change ink cartridges quite often or do they last long? About how often do you have to change them? Thanks for any indo.
So I have yet to change my ink cartridges from when I created this video, but I also don't use the printer very often since I use it mostly for photos. No clue how many times I have printed to date, but I expect I will need to change the cartridges by June. So depending on what you use it for this will drastically change, but maybe someone else can post approx. number of pages you would get.
Can we put glossy paper in the regular tray for a larger 8x10 photo?? that's the biggest question bet most people are wondering? or are we restricted to the size that comes with the printer which is smaller that normal size paper?
yes, you can put glossy or card stock in the 8x10 drawer. That drawer functions like a normal printer drawer and the mini drawer is really only for the specialty pre cut photo paper 4x6 or 5x7. If you print a lot of those sizes it saves you time and money.
yes you can. What yuou want to do is go into advanced setttings and set itto glossy papaer and adjust your quality to how you want it. but it does jus fie puttig the large paperes in a runung like or5mal
Ok, I just picked up this hp printer at Goodwill. It was actually the Goodwill's own office printer. $14.99 minus military discount! Great deal. ??? I wanted a self feeding photo printer so I could scan the thousand of pictures we've taken over 60 years. Scan them to the computer so I could give each of the kids copies and get rid of the boxes and albums taking up space. I haven't set it up but just wanted to ask if I can do what my intentions are with this printer? I have an HP laptop and another hp envy printer. Would appreciate your reply. I'm an old lady so please talk in simple terms. Thanks
If you are scanning the photos onto your computer into a folder, you can just select the scanned photo and print however many copies you want to the size you want. This printer has a smaller drawer that holds photo paper for 4x6 or 5x7 prints or use the larger one if you want 8x10. If you are not wanting to scan the photos onto your computer you can use the copy button. If you do that you need to go through the printer settings so it knows to print the correct size that you want. Personally I would to the first option as you also would have a backup copy of all your photos on your computer. Hopefully that helps.
I needed to find out how to open the pink cover over the print cartridges. My cable behind the back cartridge was pulled out when I had to remove a paper jam! Can I remove this pink cover and fix it? What tool can I use?
I wish I saw your video before I paid full price. I like the HP Envy. Can you do a video no how to setup and scan from the printers touch screen to a computer. That would be very helpful. Well keep making those videos.
Help! I tried to replace the inks on my own I bought exact same inks from Best Buy but something is wrong it’s not working well, trying to print a picture on regular paper but the it’s just printing all yellow …..thank you
I have this printer for nearly 2 years and only opend a few days ago ( been ill) I am getting paper jams were the paper comes round and go's into the print heads any clue
Omg this is creepy! I Had bought this printer about 2 years ago also and didn't open it till a couple months ago because I was also ill perand to make this even more odd the issue that I'm having is paper jams I wish I could tell you what to do but I've tried everything.. It's to the point where I'm might just be shady by another one and then return the broken 1
I upgraded to a new HP printer, so I never used this one on Windows 11. For my new printer you have to be on the same wifi to use the eprint, but honestly I never use that feature as I didn't find it that helpful.
So I have not had that issue with my 7855 (this printer), but I have had that issue with the HP Envy 5660 what we have at work. I think it has to do with the type of paper you use as we get various results depending on the brands of paper. However, I have found it is just easier to lighten the photo by approx. 20 to 30% in Photoshop to get it looking right. I know that is not the best solution, but maybe someone else will pop in with better advice.
I got mine refurbed and it crumples the paper as it comes out and the colors on the paper aren't uniformed. Should i return it asap or is this fixable?
You can get 5x7 photo paper, but if you want the 4x6 size I would transfer the photos to a computer or SD card. Not sure why your phone is only letting those 2 sizes
Hi, so I have a HP Office Jet Pro and I need to print a picture from a file lighter but can't seem to find out hpw no matter how I look and try things. Do u know how?
If you are trying to make an image come out lighter so it is not so dark you need to lighten it up in a photo software like Photoshop or the free windows photo app. Most printers don't have lighter or darker buttons like a copy machine would.
@@PUREreviews Hi, thank u for replying. So my printer is also a copy machine. The picture that I want to print lighter is in a file. I have Windows 10. so I do have the Photo that comes with it, bit I can't get it to open up in the Photo. I would think the HP machine would have a way to lighten up a photo & I do have the HP icon so I can print, scan, etc from the app.
I would think cart stock is fine as I have printed on heavy paper. What the max paperweight is I am not sure. It would be best to look that up on HP website.

I used this HP Glossy paper for my printing: amzn.to/3dPxqgz. The link is to Amazon, FYI...but the printer works with a ton of paper options. Just make sure the paper says it works with inkjet printers. Hope that helps.
@@brendajeanhernandez6389 Typically in my experience that is because of the ink cartridges. Your problem might be bad cartridges or the print heads are dirty. If your ink cartridges are older or have not been used in several months try changing them out with new cartridges. I would first try try running the clean mode a few times first. That is at least what I would do if it was happening on my printer.
The paper tray at the bottom for 8.5x11 sheets (to see go to 3:25 in video) and above it is a little drawer for 4x6 or 5x7 prints (to see go to 3:35 in video). Hope that helps.

self promoting, noninformational, boring, ......Nice info on the types of paper that can be used. As you said there is a 4x6 tray and a 11 1/2 x 8, and a lot of paper options? Those are the options. It's a shame that you reviewed such a good printer
Why not turn it on? Would be nice to know what the display settings are? HP sells printers without a display and these are a PAIN to use. So, please next time at least show the display functions.
Well I can't argue with that. I don't like Apple for that reason, they make everything hard to use outside of their products. I think it is easy with any Windows based computer.
Doing a review without turning the product on is quite innovative.
Loool! Thanks for saving me time bcz I came here to figure how to use the photo tray

Got my 6 months of free cartridge! HP is the best! Costumer service was great too
So do I get your recommendation..?
How well does this print on heat transfer paper..??
I recommend the printer as I am happy with it. I don't know on the heat transfer paper since I have never used that and can't recommend something I have not tried.
@@PUREreviews thanx again for sharing and a quick response 👍
The most important line- "The printer is obviously a printer."
Print arm that comes out to receive paper, does it retract on it's own, or must it be pushed in manually?
You push it manually back in if you don't want it sticking out.
