- In this episode of Open practice, I show you how I work on sound clarity among other things with Haydn C major cello concerto.
I love to watch how other people practice, I think you can learn a lot from it. Hope you enjoy this episode!
Thank you Pablo! Please share some Haydn 1st mvt practice!
Yes! That would be lovely
The level of concentration is soo impressive, I just cant stop being distracted all the time when I practice, but you seem to notice like literary every single imperfection and fix them immidiately, I hope I will too one day be capable of doing that. I guess it probably gets easier when you dont get overwhelmed by tons of imperfections and mistakes on frickin EVERY, SINGLE, NOTE. Deamn, why does music have to be so hard.. Anyways, I would not have thought about my quality of practice as much if not you, so thanks for that, you are making young cellists lifes way easier, Its nice seeing someone casting a light from the other side of the tunnel!
So rewarding and inspiring to watch. It's like a mini-masterclass. 👍👏🙏
Me encanta que nos pongas lo que pasa por tu cabeza en cada momento, inspira a tener un estudio más consciente 💕
This felt like attending a masterclass! ❤ Thank you for taking the time to share it.
Every time I watch you play, it gives me the chills. Love your sound, skill, focus, and thoughts. Thank you, Pablo, your videos inspire me 🔥
Thank you for this -- brilliant and unpretentious playing. As others have mentioned, I love reading your thoughts in "real-time" as you notice and go back and work on things.
Thanks Pablo! Great video as always 🤩.
QnA: do you have any tips on how to get accepted to a prestigious music university? Also what rosin do you use?
Cheers 😊
Thank you very much!!! This helped me a lot in my playing! I am currently working on Popper polonaise op.14 and I couldn’t decide which type of vibrato I should use. So thank you very much!
This is such good timing, I just started this concerto a few weeks ago. Thank you for posting!
you should post the video to the concert so we can see what the real performance was like. Great work!
brilliant and extremely helpful, just being able to watch your hands, plus the comments, Haydn what a freak shredder, i love you man
Great video! Really appreciate the written observations, it helps me understand what you're looking for and correcting while you play. Thanks for posting this 👍👍
Thanks for helping us!
excellent ❤💘💖🖤
Bravo Pablo! always so pleasant to watch at your playing
May I ask you which bow you play?
So beautiful sound…I love your music! Is there a video of a longer one?I want to watch you playing the whole concerto!
Perfect timing, I’m playing Haydn at a competition in a weel lol
Well, this shows that playing in a very high level doesn't get any easier haha
Bravo!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕
super buen videooooo
any tips on improving dexterity for moving your fingers faster and bow faster while maintaining quality?
Bravo y de mucha ayuda. Quizás los subtítulos tiene un tamaño de letra un poco pequeño.
Habla español y le escribo en inglés.
Disculpa.
Gracias por brindarnos ayuda!!!!
God himself knew exactly what I needed
Ikr hahaha same for me xD
I couldn't believe it that it was this exact movement which I just discovered and fell in love with and desperately wanted to practice lmao
That pythagorean comma though
❤❤❤
😲🥰😲🥰
Why not practice with a tuner? Try playing the passages slower focusing on the détaché in the bow-hand.
I enjoy your playing but since you're playing by yourself the mask is really not necessary..
Public building regulation
Covid lingers in the air for a while, even if it wasn't required you should still a wear a mask in public till the pandemic stops
Forced government rules
@@flatmars7072 yes, and basic cloth mask offer no airborne precautions, only droplet precaution... but since one country supplies world with 80% of particulate mask (n90,95,100) they force cloth even though a basic nursing class will tell you otherwise
Also, basic cloth mask barely help with droplet precautions
They say follow science but no one is teaching science
Edit, lovely video pablo, sorry just sad too see two extreme wrong sides which shows how dumb down world has become
@@PianoGuy1990 im stating science in response to another comment, not sure what youre going on about, god bless
