Triumph at Dawn
This was a triumph
ending of the half life series.. Amends have been made, the combine is defeated, and all of our friends are alive..

As the sun sets, Gordon leans his crowbar against the wall. His HEV suit stands in its station, ready to be called upon. But now it was not needed. For the first time in a long time, Earth was safe. Gordon finally gets in his bed, closes his eyes, and rests.

@@najnamya G-man no longer owns Gordon after Half Life Alyx, he was replaced by Alyx and the assumption is that this next Half Life will be about finishing off the Combine and killing G-man himself.

As Gordon and alyx emerge from the wreckage of the Borealis, they find a crowd cheering for them, they'd done it, destroyed the combine, well, destroyed is the wrong word to use, more like....... Delayed, they deserved a rest, they'd rebuild, they'd be ready for them, when the combine returned, Gordon looked out into the crowd, and saw a lone face... A face no-one but him an alyx notice,
The gman, he stood there, but nothing happened, all he did, was nod.
And in an instant, the Gman disappeared, as if he never was there,
It was time for a rest.

In the morning, I'm rushing to bus to catch it. It's raining here, I haven't opened cellular data yet. Then I open, and get the notification of this. Then I see end of rain clouds above the see with the bright light. It even looks beautiful because of this track :) . This the triage of the day! The hope! Thank you so much!

I’ll be disappointed if there’s not a happier alternative to Triage in HL3. It’s an iconic Half Life 2 track, it deserves a part two.
