@@tatotaytoman5934 Its in the "Epistle 3" which was released by Marc Laidlaw (the guy who wrote the story for Half-life and Portal games) he released the Episode 3 plot after he quit Valve. That's his way of showing middle finger to Valve for not making the last Episode of the series. At the end Gordon sacrafices himself with the borealis as it is slowly closing on the Dyson sphere to destroy it which is the Combine's main power and ultimately destroying them and saving the entire universe from their terror.

@@DevilWolf000 No, Gordon never destroyed the Dyson Sphere, the whole point of that part was that Gordon realised how big the Combine Empire truly was, and how little of a difference him crashing the ship into the Dyson Sphere would make. It was to show how futile the resistance was against a force like the Combine. Luckily he got saved by the Vortigaunts.
