This song feels like I'm experiencing the whole series for the first time, all at once. It's a very weird, heavy, nostalgic feeling, and I only finished Half Life for the first time two years ago. I can't imagine what this feels like for the people who actually waited 13 years for Half Life: Alyx.

Just to think such a hauntingly beautiful piece of music never properly made it into the game.
I believe the G-Man is actually Valve. He'll wake up Gordon when they need some money, which looks to be some time in the next millennium.

@Maximum Casualties He doesn't live, even if you slow down the game to as low as possible and use noclip and notarget, he still dies, even if the enemies don't spawn. It's in the programming, he *literally can not* survive. It's in the programming.

What confirms that Winston actually *died?* The shots did fatal injuries to him, but he was still breathing, and the player was simply being pulled away from his without a choice.

nothing, the game just plays the sound for when winston is HIT, it doesn't mean that he died, half-life 2 lets you theorize about things like this to make it more interesting and mysterious, sorta like HL3

Leaving my contribution here, it's been a long time and it's incredible to see how far we've come, I'm sad many of us have not lived to see the release of episode three but, maybe we can find closure knowing some day, it WILL come, Valve are good people and Alyx has proven they haven't forgotten about Half Life, and what made it great, stay strong brothers.
