Having a place to sit in a pop-up...other than at a dinette or on the bunk ends...is a game changer, so I'm definitely supporting your wife's choices! Also, a hard-sided shower is a real luxury in a pop-up. Great choice on the new unit.

We bought last October a Rockwood Premier 2716G model year 2014 for $5500 with a U shape slide out dinette, AC, shower and Cassette Toilet, shower. We like that the sofa sits across the dinette. We pull the table out so people can sit on the back wall and face towards the couch. Cash is the best way to get a deal, they were asking $9500. Just had to replace the cassette toilet water pump and did re-caulk the roof to play it safe.

Good luck with this new to you camper. My first popup was a new Coleman SeaPine. Loved it but sadly had to sell. Last year got a free Coleman Cheyenne. Usable but my son replaced the subfloor, put down new floor and of course that storage box was a complete redo. He also redid all the electric. I'm so happy to have it but you do now have the one I would love. And the price was definitely a bargain. Anxious to watch about this..happy safe adventures...and no more ER visits

Great trailer, have the same one. I don’t think the hot water tank can run of electric, at least from stock. I can tell you they are very well built. Beds can hold 1200lbs each! I have travelled with a full tank of water (26gal) with no issues at all. (Most new RVs say not to travel with any water in the tank) - the 9gal black water can really only handle two people for two days (during COVID anyways, or not wanting to use the public facilities) - so consider a portable tank for dumping. Also, storing the drain pipes is a challenge, I put two 3 foot pvc 5inch tubes on either side of the spare tire, simple screw tops let you seal them up when not being used. Each one fits just above the bumper, while still leaving room for the tire. About the bumper… drill a half inch hole and put a stainless steel nut and bolt through the frame rail and the bumper where it attaches. The bumper is only on with pop rivets which can’t take any real loading. Bolted up, it’s super strong and can carry a bike carrier with ease.

Found one local and not sure if it was a mistake just yet but have spent last month doing odds and ends repairs to it. Saved a lot on it compared to others. Have to either fix crack in water heater or replace it do to poor winterizing.

wow! it looks nearly mint condition. identical to mine i purchased new in 07. overall a great experiance owning mine. some things i should share with you about mine, mine has the electric lift system in 08 setting up on a campground my lift system failed and while half way up it dropped back down, there was a recall on the lift system in 08 for this system and the lift wiffle tree it was all replaced in 08 under the recall free but now fleetwood has been out of bussness a few years there is no support for those issues as far as i know. please research the recall i have my letter from fleet wood if needed. inspect lube lift cables and system often. and by all means walk around roof latches twice before you lift roof. in 2017 my lift motor failed due to corrosion inside out i found one on line for 150.00 its a common motor used in A class slide outs and others. a tire tread blew coming out of michigan to illinois damageing the cheap weak fender well.
fortunately covered my insurance the RV repair center fabracated two steel ones. and for the love of fun get under it with a chalking gun and sealer and seal all the pass thru holes, mine got invaded by two mice only damage was a curtain they chewed. one summer before sealing yellow jacket bees got in. I converted all my lighting to LED. the fridge knob missing is common lol.
check AC unit seal and retorque as required when they installed my ac they cut out a perfect square hole, as a Aircraft structures tech i know this is a bad idea when it leaked water i removed the unit and all corners had cracks . i blended out the corners to a more rounded radius installed 2 plys of fiber glass and covered glass with a aviation sealer and painted. I know my niagara very well since owning it since new. my wife is making new curtains as our originals are coming apart.
Yours is identical inside out to mine. thought i would share about mine. next upgrades are external repaint and a blue tooth radio. i will follow you for your restoration tips. Live well happy camper!
