Hard to say.. ? I have a Rockwood HW276 with the same Gearflag cover as you. We have different wheels, and the front of the trailer doesn't look the same..
be sure to check your lift system tree. dust and dirt gets on the threads of the wiffletree and can force the loose bearings out. Also, I installed the replacement wiffletree available, and its pitch is higher, thus illiminating the need for for the clutch dog brake in the rear. (they often wear out).
@@ItsPoppin -same trailer. fleetwood niagara highwall. some have electric lift, most are manual. if you hear a 'thunk' when lifting its the chain slipping on the gear, (due to resistance on the tree).
Glad you are OK. Bad location for a smack, bleeds so much, scares the heck out of the Lady Folks. We keep a full first aid kit in our tow vehicle along with our full K-9 kit. Smaller kits in pup, and daypack. I keep blood stop packs in the same locations with butterfly closures. Glad you found another project pup, maybe a Rockwood? Can not wait for the reveal. Wife agrees with previous comment, you are still handsome. I am jealous. lol We thank you for sharing the real world issues that can come about. I did notice pup has rollers on back, they appear to not be lower than stab-jacks. Enjoy the new project. Waiting with great anticipation for next installment. Bless you and yours. Bless our Popup Family.
I’m glad you’re (mostly) okay. This made me chuckle a little bit because things like this happen to us sometimes. My husband is handy as pockets on a shirt, but every day is an adventure with him. I frequently tell him, “And THAT is why insurance is more expensive for men than for women….” Dang it for keeping us guessing. I kept waiting for you to show us what you got!
Lesson of the video is that speed and complacency are the enemy of health and safety. Glad you're ok and just a small injury. A good pair of stout adjustable pliers or channellocks is great for any emergency toolkit.
Oh my goodness, glad you are ok!! We actually just knocked our stabilizer crooked pulling it in the driveway (weird angle) this weekend. It's able to be bent back into place, so not too bad. Congrats on the new camper, can't wait to see! 💞
Love the video I have learned a lot. Question do you repair and restore pop up camper. I have 2013 coachmen that's in need of repairs and have no clue where to start. Soft floors broken cab walls. Livning in south Florida and willing to travel to restore.
Glad the hammer missed your eye! The first day with our popup we messed up a stabilizer scissor jack by driving onto our property and hitting a low tree trunk. Replacing the stabilizer was our first project.
😢bummer on the broke face. Glad you didn’t hurt your eyes 👀 or nose 👃 How much was the stabilizer jack?…I just bent mine a little backing into the driveway. It hit grass and tore up the a ft of yard. 😢
Rockwood High Wall? Now I dont feel bad about driving my new one home 2 hrs in the rain and dropping a tire off the side of the driveway and getting it stuck. Had to unhook and push it around with a floor jack and finally get it parked.
Oh man! Glad you and your new pop up are okay! Congrats on a new one! My guess is a Fleetwood Niagara HW. Not sure what year, but I’ll guess 2007-2010. Thanks for your videos. they are always fun and helpful to watch. I’m a big fan!
I've crossed the nullabor 15+ times and my go-to tool kit is - air compressor (never needed it fortunately), battery jump pack (used once or twice), Strong duct tape (held a bumper on after hitting a kangaroo), spanner set and screwdrivers and a couple of shifters(things happen, the sliding door of the tow vehicle even half fell off once), hammer, first aid kit, 10l of water in a separate container to the pop up water tank. And ofcourse the kids bike tyre repair kit when taking bikes :)
@@ItsPoppin Aha that might be an Australian or atleast highly localised term. Adjustable Wrench? I carry one huge one as the camper spare tyre has a massive nut holding it on and one mid sized. If I need to undo a nut and bolt then I have the proper sized spanner and an adjustable wrench for the other side
Question... so I’m extremely new to pop ups I have a 2021 flagstaff 228d and I’ve only took it out once, we noticed that every time we used the toilet we would have black water leaking in the floor at the exterior base of the toilet. I watched your video on cleaning your portable black water tank and the flange appeared to be in good shape, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
That stinks you got hurt man. I just bought my first pop up about 3 weeks ago. I just took it out this week for the first time. I knew what to do because of you and I even taught the guy I bought it from some tricks I learned from you so we both thank you lol. I wanted to ask if you have a video or have ever considered making a video on how long your battery last, when to used battery or gas for longer boondocks trips. Just wondering because I want to head out soon for like a week and as of right know then only why I see that going well is with an extra propane tank and a solar panel. Just wanted you thoughts. Thanks
Hello from Southern California! Thank for your videos that are inspiring and realistic. Although your situation with hitting the curb could have been worse, you still help us to ensure we take into account the length & "newness" factor when towing and I thank you for that. Glad your injury was not worse, next thing you know the stiches will be off. Also, on an aside, want to thank you for gear I ordered. Got my wife a turquoise hooded sweatshirt and got myself the T-shirt with your logo (same one you have in the video). Great quality clothing and arrived in good time, thx - subscribers, let's support It's Popping by buying quality gear (no, I was not paid to say that, lol) and hep pay the medical bills. Btw, I own a Jayco 1209 pop up and with my family of 5 we became campers last summer and still learning as we go and appreciate your candid and helpful videos. As for my guess, initially I thought of the Fleetwood Arcadia you showcased a while back from the Adventures in pop-up folks; however, appears higher so I'd say a Rockwood 276?
It seems every one of my vehicles wants a small blood sacrifice when I work on them, though a hammer to the forehead is one up one me ( I hope it didn't hurt too much ). The highwall trailers seem to have more storage space than the older pop-ups, be careful not to stuff it too full with stuff. I have seen them over loaded on their axle rating.
Great video i really enjoy your channel as i'm new to camping and pop up campers. Wondering if you could do a video on changing the tires. Our pop up has no jack, so do I use my car jack, what about placement of jack, I don't see a specific spot on the frame for a jack, does it have to be disconnected from the tow vehicle? Just a few questions I have
Any guesses on our new pop up? Hint: it’s a highwall, but not a Jayco.

NIAGARA? 🤩😄🤷♀️

I enjoy all of your videos. We are new to pop up campers. Because of all your videos, we are almost done redesigning ours. Keep the videos coming
Glad you are okay man. Even the pros make mistakes here and there. This vid is a great reminder to always be prepared and be safe!

Question, I've noticed that you've progressively gotten bigger and bigger pop-ups and I was curious to know what your tow vehicle is ?
Welcome to the club! Pop up camper battle scars :D
It's a 2005-2010 Fleetwood Niagara. I have the same one. Great trailer - and have replaced a lift cable, rear crank welds and wiffletree.
The Arcadia and Avalon are also nearly identical. 😊 We have an '08 Arcadia. It has the wrap around couch instead of microwave.
Coleman fleetwood

Me too, very thankful!
Hello I like your videos. Could you recommend a fuera rv cover for my palomino elite 2007 trailer. Iwould really appreciate your information
❤Fleetwood ❤
Hi from BC Canada . Just recently purchased a pop up and really like your videos . Very useful. Cheers
Anybody know how to get aluminum zippers to free up if they are corroded and stuck?
It’s a Fleetwood highlander Niagara. I have one that looks a lot like. It’s a very nice pop up.
LOL all good. Great fix also check for cracks in the area. Always take your time no rush.
I saw part of the lift system so I think its a Coleman, doesn't look long enough to be an Avalon, I guessing Niagra?
The point is slow down you always have more time. First aide kit is a must in every vehicle and pop up.
Well said
😢bummer on the broke face. Glad you didn’t hurt your eyes 👀 or nose 👃
How much was the stabilizer jack?…I just bent mine a little backing into the driveway. It hit grass and tore up the a ft of yard. 😢
Just under $40
I like that cover, what do you think and if you like where can I get one. TY
Sorry to hear, your face is still pretty 🇦🇺🇦🇺😘
Rockwood High Wall? Now I dont feel bad about driving my new one home 2 hrs in the rain and dropping a tire off the side of the driveway and getting it stuck. Had to unhook and push it around with a floor jack and finally get it parked.
I’m here to help lol
And do you now have safety glasses in your tow vehicle kit? How about at home? Didn't see any in your stab repair!
Ha, certainly at home, but it’s probably time to throw some in the vehicle kit as well!
Oh dear :(
I hope it is a Starcraft, but I think it is a Forest River.
Shame on you not wearing Safty glasses.
A high curb took out one of our stabilizers. Thankfully not hard to replace.
Those darn curbs…
when i bought my pop up camper i had to replace a stabilizer because the previous owner lifted the camper with the stabilizer jack and bent it
Same happened to me. Thankful for the video!

Looks like our Starcraft centennial

Glad you weren't hurt worse (eye), but good content as far as, slowing down during repairs, etc.. Also, my guess for the new camper, A-Liner.
Dude, the first thought is no good deed goes unpunished. LOL Glad you are ok. I always have tools and first-aide in the tow vehicle. Happy trailed!
2008 Fleetwood Niagara
dont be hard on yourself, are you buying fixing and flipping?
We “plan” on having this one for a while

Thanks for the video, I'm going to be more careful turning. Glad you are ok.
StarCraft Centennial 3612
I have a question why do you guys go through so many pop-up campers?
Why not?
Sorry you had that happen. That really stinks!
I’m going to guess a StarCraft of some sort.
What type of storage cover do you use
I think it's a Fleetwood. I have a Fleetwood Newport and it look very similar from what I can see
Rockwood Highwall
wow! glad you're ok. hoping it's a A-liner!

It's Okay, you're still pretty.
Ha, this made me laugh, thanks.
My father-in-law would call that a knowledge knot 🙃 I keep accumulating them thru life LOL :) glad you’re relatively Ok!

Yeah, that is one of the downfalls. Fortunately, we’re relatively minimalistic pop up campers.

By the way, thank you for being real in your videos and showing the realities of camping LOL and sorry for your accident!
Ouch! Bad puppy. ;-)
