    One way to keep your windows open to increase air flow is the add window awnings. Yes you can add awnings on a pop-up. Buy tent fabric and glue it above your windows. You can buy fiberglass tent poles or PVC pipe, to hold the awning. I using contact glue to glue it to the vinyl or canvas.

    I turned to your videos AGAIN! I was woken by a couple of drips on my face from the canvas in my Starcraft Spaceliner popup. The temps here have been over 80 degrees w/60-75% humidity. This video was so informative! Thanks do much for all you e helped my husband and with as new popup campers (been tenting it for years).

    Another fantastic video - much appreciated! Three weeks ago we went camping at El Capitan state beach near Santa Barbara in California. To those not familiar with the area El Capitan is two hours away from Los Angeles and is still considered southern California however at the north most region in Southern California (Time to take out the map LOL) This is one of my top three sites for camping with my family. Just upgraded our Jayco 10 foot (closed) 1007UD pop up to the 14 foot 1209SC with single pull out. Bit of a fixer upper like needs new WFCO inverter, softwood in one spot and need to reseal some areas & I’ll definitely review your videos prior to tackling my projects. Lastly just got my order in of 2, second anniversary It’s Poppin T-shirts & will open tomorrow. Thanks a bunch!

    Good tips! 👍🏼 We have yet to try the damp rid, but often run the a/c more than necessary to keep the air comfy and dry. We have even ran it all night to the point of needing blankets in the summer. 😂 Good sleeping that way. 😇

    A question for you.. I love all your videos and I have used and shown many people your add ons and tips.. A friend of mine bought a 1995 camper and wanted to install a battery system. Theirs only has a 6 volt to turn on the electric brakes.. Do you have any idea where I can find anything on how to ad battery power to their camper.

    What about cool temp camping when overnight lows are still 40's (or lower)? Camping with young children, we've used a tiny space heater but get lots of condensation on the top of our bunk end canvas. Tips? Do you have a whole video on this too please?

    • @ItsPoppin
      @ItsPoppin  2 года назад +2

      What kind of space heater are you using? Electric? If so, that should introduce warm, dry air into the pop up. On the other hand, the Mr Buddy propane heaters introduce moisture into the air. Even if it’s cold, I would still crack a window or two and run fans. The fans will help your space heater distribute air even if they’re not pointed at you.

    • @LindseyRebecca24
      @LindseyRebecca24 2 года назад

      @@ItsPoppin ok thank you. We haven't tried out propane heater yet. So far just a small electric space heater from Walmart lol.

      @@LindseyRebecca24 When I go ice fishing if I don't crack a window with my buddy heater the walls and ceiling are covered in moisture. Even 1 window cracked makes a huge difference. If you are using a propane heater then please get yourself a battery powered carbon monoxide detector. Happy camping.

    I have watched your videos on how to fix and how to clean a pop-up camper. I have not seen if you waterproof your bed wood. Outdoor waterproof paint will save you for replacing the wood. Paint the inside and outside.

    • @uteruspower1862
      @uteruspower1862 10 месяцев назад

      Isn't the concern in doing such a thing that you are making it so the wood can't breathe? When you have hot bodies on top of the mattress creating heat and moisture you want that to be able to escape thru the wood.

    Great video! I had a question. I was wondering when my popup is in my garage between trips should I use my trickle charger or plug it into the house? I go into it sometimes and sort the storage and fix things so my charger kicks on and I was thinking it might be better for the time between trips shore power might be better.

    • @ItsPoppin
      @ItsPoppin  2 года назад +2

      I don’t think it really matters much. I like to utilize a trickle charger to reduce wear and tear on the converter plus it’s a much smaller cord to step over.

    How do you check to make sure the AC drain ports aren’t clogged up? If they are clogged, how do you unclog them?

    • @ItsPoppin
      @ItsPoppin  2 года назад +2

      There are two drain ports located on each side at the bottom of the A/C shroud. Compressed air works well!
