Great to see this tech coming! Hopefully larger, affordable stand-alone monitors will follow. 3D gaming is amazing when done well.

We need a larger monitor with at least 120 or 144hz. Can you also watch 3D movies and other apps with 3d function enabled?

I would love to see stereoscopic 3D Gaming making a comeback. But for that we need to see this tech implemented into 27 inch and 24 inch monitors.
Currently i have a 32 inch monitor and dont want to go any smaller. If this tech comes to 32 inch monitors im willing to pay a lot of money for it. We speak like 3000 euros if it needs to be that expensive. Just put them out there.

When best buy departed the UK about 11 years back I went into their store in Hounslow and saw a 3d no glasses TV, it was amazingly good! Never seen one since, had the HTC Evo 3d phone, that was epic, and own the PSVR2 which is so good, as has the 360 VR component added to 3d. But the price of this laptop is over 3 grand, I mean come on, that’s daft! I don’t care if it’s got a 3080 card in or whatever, it’s just not realistically priced. When 3d is mass market I’ll have one !😊

Any chance the 3d would work with guild wars 2? It currently uses Nvidia 3d vision

BTW Alienware has sold 3D laptops in the past (from the Fermi to Kepler generation) so this is definitely not the "first-ever 3D gaming laptop". But all of Alienware's 3D laptops used active shutter glasses (as prescribed by the Nvidia 3D Vision system), so this laptop will be the first *glasses-free* 3D gaming laptop with eye-tracking (if it ever gets released, that is, because it's being teased for half a year now).

you're completely right about 3D with glasses. And actually, there were more monitors that were compatible with glasses, not often on laptops, but some.
And it will be released, in UK we're expecting them late Q4'2022 with a price tag of £3500.

@@PredatorGamingUKOfficial Nice to hear it's getting released. Are there any plans for a 17.3-inch version? 15.6-inches are a bit small for my taste, so I am teeter-tottering between buying this laptop or sticking to my old active-shutter laptop for 3D viewing (even if it can't play newer games) plus some new 17.3-inch 2D-only laptop for the newer games.

@@PredatorGamingUKOfficial Since 2022 is almost over, do we have a release date, even for 2023? Just want to confirm that the SpatialLabs edition of this laptop still exists and hasn't been "scaled back" due to the global reduced demand for electronics.

I capture a lot of video game footage in 3D and upload them to my RUclips channel. I prefer Top/Bottom mode, mainly because i capture in 4K from my TV. I would love to know if your laptop is able to watch any of my videos in 3D . They are all from World of Warcraft Classic and Season of Discovery. Please let me know if your able to watch them in 3D, I really want to get this laptop and its the one thing that's holding me back

New 3DS (New in name not saying New as in still boxed) has face tracking, so you can see a handful of games built for 3D with that system. Just avoid Pokemon cause Gamefreak totally failed on that console in terms of optimization. Smoother games like Mario Kart 7, Smash For 3DS, and the Legend of Zelda games on the console, especially Link Between worlds, really look great. Also highly recommend the 3DS version of Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Runs great and it's the best version of the game with the widest field of view which makes it the best version of the game compared to the console and I believe PC versions that are zoomed in

@@RatusMax Lol, totally. It's a name that really only kinda works in Japan cause most people aren't using the english word "New" over there very often. Maybe they should've called it the Atarashii 3DS outside of Japan since that's new in japanese, lol. Would certainly get more curious looks, at least, lol

Perhaps if they request more skimpy clothing, she might be better able to hype up and sell the small 15.6", exorbitant-priced 3D laptop. It's a lot cheaper to find a functional 65" 3DTV or use a 3D projector for 120" 3D image. This 3D laptop is going to fail miserably unless it's under $700 in price.

    • @unlockingillusion3087
      @unlockingillusion3087 Год назад +8

It's actually a really powerful laptop even without 3D. Just the processor and graphics card alone without the laptop would cost significantly more than $700.

@@Groomer.Trader we already had no-glasses 3D TV technology way back few years ago..
pretty sure we can have 120/144+ Hz 3D monitors or 3D TVs that would suit our 3D gaming needs..
it’s just the demand for these tech that is needed for it to make a comeback in the market
