  • If someone asked me what tool I could not live without, I couldn’t just pick one. So I’m going to do a series of the most important tools it takes to work on John Deere Ag equipment. Part one of the series is swivel impact sockets and Milwaukee impacts. Couldn’t live without those! There’s also a bonus tool I have to bust out in the video! #gearwrenchtools #snapontools #milwaukeetools #mechanicstools #toolhaul #johndeeretractorpower

I'm no slave to Snap-On but their screw extractors are the only ones worth considering.

I love Milwaukee tools. Unfortunately, I am too old to get under a vehicle (not certain I can make it back up again HA HA), but I do have a lot of their wood working stuff. Years ago I started with a Milwaukee 12 volt drill, switched to craftsman 19.2 and am now back to Milwaukee 12v fuel. I have the drill and impact driver set, a saw, a Sawzall, a stapler and a jigsaw. I have a set of hex bits in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" drive that I put in my impact driver to remove stubborn bolts if i need to work on my truck. That little tool has not failed me yet. The jigsaw has saved me on more than one occasion as I am no carpenter. Cuts smooth with the right bit. seems like a lot of mechanics are finding out how good the Milwaukee brand is.
Keep up the good work. I have been retired for 6 years or so and the wife is spooked about our Government and the economy. She wants to buy property and try farming. Good Lord help me, I am an ex-banker who knows nothing about farming and how to drive a tractor but it does look like a lot of fun. starting a new endeavor at 72, well why not. From Texas, Charles

Great suggestions like that 90 degree impact. My buddy swears by his air one for feeder house work. Maybe talking him in to a cordless lol.

Dude that 90 degree Milwaukee impact will take off skid steer lug nuts and cab mount bolts with 36mm heads! It blows my mind 🤯

    Great review!
I worked on vehicles in the 90's,and single pins were the only available option.
Locking extensions are great for keeping the swivels from going into orbit lol.
Since air guns were weaker (cordless were 1/2 as powerful as now), for bellhousings they had a 1/2 female drive 3ft long with a 3/8 male to use smaller sockets.
A 3/8 short swivel set should be your 3rd or 4th socket set you buy, until then get a swivel adapter in my opinion.

I have that long extension and I used it in my automotive days for Bell housing bolts lol
