      I'd love to see you do a comparison on Air Compressors. Some ideas for testing:
      * Potability [weight, wheels, etc]
      * Nose levels
      * Continuous run time
      * Do they match stated air flow rates
      * Ability to power different air tools with less or more demand; grinders, nailers, paint sprayers, etc.

      @@ProjectFarm I agree that these are some of the best tool reviews.
      Speaking as a man who has driven a box of 100 lag bolts into wet treated timber with a Bosch corded drill, you test the things I care about in a tool.
      The smell of burning plastic and the gearbox hot enough to boil water is all you need to know about that job - it survived.
      It lasted for about 16 years of my diy projects, but finally gave up drilling a 1" dia x 20" long hole through hard engineering bricks, so i think I had my money's worth.

      @@xzibit8614 OP said "best type of Consumer Reports content" - taking a variety of similar items and pushing them past the breaking point to determine which ones will outlast the others. That said, I believe the charts that he shows needs some work...specifically the video needs to link out to a webpage where all of the charts are made available for more focused analysis. Having to pause a video to look more closely at a chart that is only displayed for a few seconds is a little bit tedious. Another thing to note is that manufacturers of tools are always monkeying around with them and any given production run will potentially have vastly different characteristics every few months. That will generally negate the entire video after a mere 6 months. Tests like these really just show what is POSSIBLE. Then it is a matter of deciding what should be the minimum STANDARD of quality and then enforcing that by forcing recalls on anything that falls below the standard. Tools that fail under load create potentially dangerous situations.

      This is why my cordless and electric power tool lineup has red/black, blue, yellow/black, a bit of green, and even some old-skool solid metal casings that just never die! The only thing that limits me is whether I want to add another battery system which isn't too limiting anymore since I have 3 different chargers. Machinery and hand tools are no different. This is why videos like this are so valuable.

    I enjoy every one of your videos! I am just a home handyman and many of the items you test are not things I need but I still watch because you never know when you may need something you don't own. I have bought several things you have tested and picked as winners and I have been thrilled with each and every one. My favorite was the Twisted trimmer line, I live on a brick street and grass grows up next to the curb so I trim it with every mow. Twisted works awesome, far better than any other line I had ever used. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and thank you for all the hard work you put in to make sure you take the human element out of your testing. Project Farm is my favorite RUclips Chanel.

    I've been using the dewalt 60 on a daily basis for almost 2 years now and I've never had a single issue with it, it's as solid as a rock and does every single job I throw at it with ease, I've used many similar models but nothing has come close for me and when this one finally decides to die I will 100% be buying the same model again, especially after watching this 👍

    Todd, great wrap-up to an amazing year of testing! Thank you for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to get us this amazing content. Could you do a test of different breathing protection products like dust masks and half mask respirators/filters? Hopefully filtration lives up the NIOSH ratings on all the products, but it would be interesting to see how dust mask fit affects end filtration, as well as ease of breathing new vs after being exposed to sawdust and other particulates. It would also be interesting to see how a 3M 2091 compares to a 7093 for ease of breathing over the life of the filter because documentation is basically non-existent.

    Those Knipex pliers are just monsters. I've had mine for around 5 years and I have 3 pair in 3 different tool cases (I need a clean and dirty set for oxygen works) The grip is phenomenal. However and it is a big however, the quick setting push button slips and sometimes doesn't engage properly and can slip back/forward which is really annoying. Would I buy another pair? Damn right I would! I'd do away with the quick set.. if Knipex did that, they would possibly have the best grips on the market bar none. On the back of that, I've bought all my pliers and circlip pliers being Knipex and they have never let me down in 6 years of everyday usage. You really do get what you pay for!

    You make the best tool-related content on RUclips. Consider angle grinders for future comparison. Either cordless or corded (or a mix for the heck of it). Maybe RPM under differerent standardized loads, hand vibration on load, noise levels. Endurance if you manage to get them to fail reliably. Cost vs performance.

    First off, thank you. You and yours are amazing. Now, I've got an idea for a new test and I'm sure you can run with it. Snatch Straps that are sold widely in most of the world vs. Kinetic Recovery Ropes that have apparently been around for a long while but not as widely known? Are they at all similar to boat mooring lines? IDK. Matt's Offroad Recovery, Bleepin Jeep, Fab Rats, and some more yt channels I'm not remembering are collaborating and putting out great content recently. Earlier this evening, I had an offhand thought about how cool it'd be if your channel also teamed up w/some of them. They're all constantly tooling around on something or another. Breaking things, getting stuck and unstuck, it's great. Back to my orig point.. 4x4'ing is obv popular and I wonder if some of the tools used in it are as widely understood as they should be for everyone.

    < I respect your content mate.. TA is good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure TA and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. This is the worst possible time in history to invest as so many don't back up their crypto assets.More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.I have made over 11 btc frm day tradn with Glenn Kennedy's insights and signals in less than 1 Month, He's very accurate and always yields a great positive return on investment....!!!!!!

    This has to be the greatest endorsement a product can get. I don’t believe anyone else will put so much effort to find the “best of the best”.

    I’ve just started investing in my own personal tool kit and this is the content I need. Linus Tech Tips hyped you up and now I see why. You’re the myth busters of the tool world.
