Last month, I was supposed to fly on a TAP Portugal Airbus A320 from Casablanca to Lisbon, but that flight got cancelled for some unknown reason, so I was rebooked on a tap express E190 later on that same day.
I saw your arrival to Lisbon video. Did you choose to go outside and collect your luggage? I'm doing the route, continuing to Rome. Why did you go outside.
The current state of Lisbon's Airport is actually due to politics. For the last 50 years different governments have been trying to decide on where would be the best place to put a new one but there are always some local interests/lobbies involved and all the plans unfortunately end up going down the drain. At this moment Lisbon Airport is almost at the peak of its capacity and they will get to their maximum capacity in a matter of a couple of years. As a Portuguese citizen I feel sad and ashamed for such an airport and the impression it gives to the newcomers. Also the runway is not 03 anymore, it has been changed to 02 almost a year ago due to a change in magnetic variation.
You considered Lisbon Airport "trash" when you departured from the old (and smaller) side of Terminal 1. Didn´t pass thru the newest part that has most of the international/intercontinental jetways and you rated the airport experience as 3/10. Then when using a really trash old terminal in Madrid, to go to Tenerife, you ranked the airport experience as 8/10. Go figure. (San Francisco Airport experience was ranked 10/10 on the San Francisco - Lisbon flight...). Only an american would give a 10 to an american airport experience.
@@GlobalAviationTravel I also don´t understand how is it possible to rank the entertainment onboard Air Europa flight from Madrid to Tenerife with an "amazing" 8/10, with a small screen, 20 movies and 14 tv series/programs (if I counted right), and rank the entertainment onboard TAP A330-900 from San Francisco to Lisbon, with a big screen, 149 movies, 88 TV series/programs, great inflight maps and so on, with the same 8/10. You can get the TAP IFE on domestic flights too (for example from Lisbon to Funchal/Madeira Island) on their A321neo LR and sometimes they even use the A330-900 (althought not scheduled). Lets not forget those same Air Europa B787´s with "poor IFE" do flights from Madrid all the way to Buenos Aires, wich usually takes more than 12 hours.
I agree, flying TAP within Europe is almost like flying easyjet or Vueling. A full service carrier should at least offer snacks, water & or coffee. Nothing like BA, AirFrance, KLM or Lufthansa.
I flew on tap from Casablanca to Lisbon. They offered free water, and I think I was offered a free snack too. Iberia is a full service carrier but they don’t offer free snacks or drinks. I don’t know if they offer free meals on their long hauls though.
The Lisbon Airport still doesn't seem as bad as Keflavik in Iceland.

I’m sorry but Lisbon Airport was the worst major airport I’ve been too!

@@GlobalAviationTravel lolololol
I think nice was the worst major airport in Europe I had been to. Wonder why they call it nice.
Why you criticise everything?!? If you don’t like the airport why you using to travel?! I think that is rude of you!!
Cause it’s a review lol
Why you trash so much the Lisbon airport? Have you ever passed by Miami, Charlotte, La Guardia, etc.? Something personal?
Yes, I have been to a total of 115 airports worldwide! Unfortunately, I found Lisbon to be one of the worst major airports I have been to, sorry.
@@GlobalAviationTravel You travel 115 airports my ass. Get lost.
Sure looks like it.
I loved Charlotte airport actually.
You are so negative... C'mon man, enjoy life and a great and SAFE airline.
