As a cosplayer i always bring some makeup for retouches (concealer, lipgloss, eyeliner and makeup wipes usually) as well as a hairbrush. If i have a wig that is super delicately styled ill bring some hairspray but make sure youre doing that outside to be mindful to other con-goers! Other hygeine stuff i bring is deodorant and pads/tampons (i always bring them even if im not currently needing them bc you never know when a friend might!) And because im autistic i bring some ear plugs in case i get sensory overload so i can go sit somewhere quiet and refresh before going back into the con :]
When i was younger i used to bring a small digital camera with me for cosplay pics but now my phone camera is easily capable of taking good quality photos so i dont bother with that anymore and i also used to take my 3ds for streetpass but honestly i havent done that in years now and i doubt youd get any on there anyway now lol

Same I held out with my digital camera for ages but it’s been consigned to the digital grave yard with my poor 3DS, good memories, sad times! 😭😂

Okay so what if the comic con out here says that I can't bring large bags, backpacks, food or drinks. Just a bag that's 12×5×12??
Arghh what an outrage, that seems astonishingly out of order!! What convention is that? Are there water stations inside? I’d take a small messenger bag, an empty water bottle and a tote that folds up small. Aside from starting a campaign to get them to reconsider there’s not much you can do if you still want to attend.

If you're going to a summer con or wearing heavy cosplay, I recommend deodorant and travel spray/perfume. This way you don't have to worry about being smelly. 👍
Some conventions are so hot it’s probably useful even if you’re not cosplaying! Cheers for the suggestion!

Hey, so im going to the one in Indiana in march with some buddies for the first time. I'm a little nervous since ive never been on a plane before. Going for three days not really sure if a bag or a suite case would be more efficient. Ill probably buy some pokemon cards, anime figure potentially, funko pops, comics and art work not sure if itll be more convenient for me to just mail everything home though btw just subbed. EDIT im going to visit the voice actor of uncle iroh should i bring my own funko pop for him to sign or would they have themed items of him at the stand??
When I go to MCM London I’m there from the Thursday to the Sunday evening as the Con runs Friday to Sunday. I just take a big backpack but pack super light, clothes I travel in plus underwear for each additional day, alternate T shirts and a wash kit. My wash kits pretty compact as I’m happy using the hotel soap etc. I take a backpack as I spend the Thursday checking out London my the mobility of a backpack is really useful. If I was heading straight to the Con it wouldn’t make to much difference between a backpack and a small wheelie suitcase. On the return I’ve normally my backpack plus my tote back full of purchases. When I went to Retro Con in Philadelphia I was there for 10 days and took just carry on luggage which was plenty. As far as the Funko for signing goes I’d double check on the website to see if there’s any restrictions or you could drop them an email. It won’t hurt to take it with you the worst case scenario is he’ll only sign the provided items, ie photos or posters, occasionally I’ve heard of actors charging extra to sign toys and collectibles. Flyings fun, so you don’t need to be worried, have a great time and thank you for subbing, cheers!

i have a question, i already buy comic con badge, when it arrive to my house approximately?
It depends on the Convention for MCM London recently I ordered about 6 month in advance and it arrived a couple of weeks before. Presumably it will say on the relevant Convention website maybe in the frequently asked questions section.
