merci pour cette formidable leçon! J'ai appris les nombres de 1 à 10 000 grâce à cette vidéo, cela m'a pris environ 30 minutes et quelques ressources comme « number generator » sur le web. ps: that's was my first comment in french (little help from translator). today I'm starting my journey with french, hopping to reach B2 in the next three months. wish me luck!

Hi, thank you so much i live in German and i learn french at school i really needed this as i wasn't present at class when they learned it and tomorrow k have a test. Merci boucoup
Fantastic Lesson! I learned so much of this lesson by listening to a podcast, so I had no idea about the spelling. This is very helpful. Now I want to get the book!😀
Thank you very much! As a complete beginner I really learned a lot from your video. I knew that "cents" is used in plural but not why i.e. "deux cents" but "deux cent mille" is written. It was also interesting that the t in vingt can be spoken. I always thought that only people from Alsace pronounce the t.
Bonjour Dylane! THIS WAS SO HELPFUL I CANNOT THANK U ENOUGH! But I had a small doubt regarding the placement of "-" between numbers. For example, 61 is soixante et un, 71 is soixante et onze but then 81 is quatre-vingt-un with the dash!!
I always say that French numbers are like the Numbers round from the English gameshow Countdown. Basically you get 6 random numbers which you have to add, subtract, multiply etc in order to obtain a 3-digit number.

Thanks Ms. Dylane as always. Are there rules (or ways) to say about room number or tel. phone number? For examples, I can refer room or phone 312 as three twelve in English.🙏🙏
SO for room number, house numbers and everything, we say the number fully. Chambre trois cent douze. For numbers it depends on the country, in France they tend to do number by number, 0 - 6 - 2 -3 etc. In Belgium they tend to do by 2 numbers. 06 - 23 - ... I hope it helps :)
Hello madame dylane. You are an awesome teacher. I have ome doubt that 21 is vingt et un . Why don't we link the et and un to "tun" ? Please respond if you have time
Hello Dylane, thank you for the video! I have a question. I have noticed that in many audios I have listened to, when they say something-neuf they usually drop the "n" sound before neuf. For example, vingt-neuf I hear "va-neuf". Quarante-neuf I hear "kaho-neuf". Is this the case, or am I just imagining it? Thank you kindly!
Bonjour Dylane, are "quatre-vingt" and "quatre-vingts" both correct for 80? I already saw both versions and I'm bit unsure which I should use. Same is for "soixante et onze" and "soixante-onze".
Bonsoir Madame. I have learnt such lesson earlier, but this one much better. Today again I must proud myself that I am learning from you. Most of the number has Nasal sound. Am I right Madame. Bon nuit.
To be honest the hardest in any language is numbers I am learning 3 language at the sametime 😅 And french is no joke 😭 but as usual thanks for the lessons 😄
Is Un milliard one American Billion, or one European Billion? In English sometimes we use billiard or Trilliard to refer to the European versions of the number, to avoid confusion. So now I am confused when learning French!
Beau comme toujours et une doute. il semble les enfants français apprennent la multiplication et l'addition avant de compter les nombres.😁😉 Juste une pensée, pas de malaise Merci beaucoup Prabir.
If you had told me a year ago that by now I'd be able to count to a billion in French I wouldn't have believed you. Once you break it down and learn the rules though, it's not anywhere as difficult as it first seems.
Je fais du stage dans un magasin à PARIS, Quand je travaille à la caisse et je veux dire par exemple 85€ et je pense dans ma tête quelque secondes 😄😂 It's a bit strange to count from 70 till 99 sometime i say wrong
I somewhere read that language learning is excellent exercise for development of our brains and it's anti-aging also, to use our brains more. Seems like french language, especially its number system is going to make me smartest and five years younger also. 😁 If only, french speaking would bring me une tallement beau...très très beau petit ami aussi. ☺🤗🥰

Why we are not using s with cent
