    Hands down the best video clearly explaining this and 'de' in the other video. Way clearer than a very popular channel out there that just puts together a random video with no structure at all. Won't name anyone. Your videos are very well structured and very very clearly explained. thank you so much. Structure and clarity is so important when something is already so confusing. 👏

    Hi Dylane. I have your book and I'm on Ex 2.2 of prepositions. I am really confused. In the video you said the preposition does not belong to the second verb or the noun. It always belongs to the verb before. In Ex. 2.2 Elle a acheté un collier à sa mère. In the answer sheet it seems that the preposition is belonging to the second verb. What am I missing? Hopefully I explained this properly. Merci!

    À la page 101 du livre, vous avez dit que goûter est suivi par à et veut dire “to taste”. Comment dit-on “ i taste the strawberry”? Je goûte à la fraise ou je goûte la fraise? Merci

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  3 года назад

      Both are fine actually, the difference is very subtle. Without the preposition indicates something that you already tried before. With preposition, something that you are trying for the first time.
      Je goûte à la fraise = 1st time
      Je goûte la fraise = You tried it before and you know the taste.
