Merci beaucoup Alexa! I just started to learn french last year and your videos have helped so much. You literally make every single challenging lesson into an easy and fun lesson. Thank u so much!!!!!
I have a test tomorrow and your video is helping a lot to learn! Thank you
I'm studying US History in school right now and 80 is easier for me to remember as an American ever since we read Lincoln's Gettysburg address, where he famously began with, "four scores and 7 years ago..." (a score is 20 so four 20s give 80)
That was litteraly breathtaking
I'm really tired 😂
But as you said Ms.Alexa all it needs is practice ❤ thanks alot ❤
When will French numbers be logical? Its an easy upgrade!
11:15
And I afraid, I have to write it down...

Bon soirée! Ma'am Alexa,
You have taught how to read French numbers very nicely in this video ! It may seem a bit difficult at first to those students whose mother tongue is not French but regular practice of reading the numbers may ease the problem !

Madam, I am able to do memorize the numbers and it's becoming easy for me to understand everything you have said in this video, but is there any other way to memorize the letters of those numbers. Because the french words sounds different and and spelling are different.

It is the vigesimal system where you count in twenties, using not only hands but toes too.
😂
Merci. You have made it so easy.
Can you please do a clip for each hundred? eg. 100-199, 200-299, and so on? It's a great way to practise the french numbers and especially drilling in the repetition. 😉

tu es une très bonne professeure Alexa, merci beaucoup❤️!!
Great, well done Alexa!! Merci beaucoup🙏
I am a bit confused right now. I started learning French (mother tongue is German) and I´ve been told by my course instructor (native French from Marseille) that hyphens are only used for numbers under 100 (except all numbers with "et", i.e. "vingt et un" and not "vingt-et-un"). For numbers over 100 the hyphens are not used. For example 10.457 -> dix mille quatre cents cinquante-sept. Altough there are no hyphens the numbers are spoken without pause.
Are there regional difference within the French language itself (some use hyphens and some don´t) or is my teacher wrong?
Very good question!
I started with French recently and I’m also confused with differences between my official work and RUclips.
I’m not saying my official study material is always right, I just don’t know.
Great stuff to know in preparation for a trip to France!
thank youuuu, it was really helpful and enjoyable.
Love it thank you
