I have the 6’ UL paired with a Pflueger President and it is one of my go to rods. I have had it for about six months and use it several times a week. Up to this point the combo has been flawless.
Got the 7’2 Medium Light. Definitely better sensitivity than many ML rods out in the market. Making it ML, I can cover for catching some Bass and even Catfish as well (Trout isn’t as big down here in Texas).
Love mine! Got the same model as you. Love it! Actually casts 1/32 Oz micro jigs like it says it can. But man if only I had a stradic ci4 on mine 😩 I have a pflueger president on mine.
Well done young man👍🏻 Really enjoyed your video,I found it informative and well thought out. As for the rod itself I bought the exact same model last spring sale here in Illinois and I agree with all the positives you pointed out. For me a couple things that really stand out at this price are the Fuji reel seat with several cutouts that really let you feel the blank and the top notch Fuji Fazlite guides. I own several ultralight/light powered rods for pan fishing and couldn’t agree more that for the price point you can’t go wrong. Going to pick up a 7’-2” light powered this spring. Lastly in my opinion at least this is one GOOD LOOKING Rod. Just hit the subscribe button looking forward to watching more of your videos .
Love my 7' 2" Panfish Elite PFE72LS....great panfish rod, here in Florida I use for Crappie & Bluegill. Tight lines 👍 Nice video good information. And as well my favorite ultralight too.
I bought this same rod in a 6'8" lite and I am going back after the UL version as well. I was planning to but a Made in USA St. Croix and I did love it but this rod just matched it an every metric except price so I had to give it a try. I love this rod at this price point. Coincidently I bought a Johnny Morris Signature JRX1500 size reel to match up with it on sale for $85 and love it as well. Complete BPS rig for $155 and It is my go to now. I have had a bunch of loomis in the past and they are amazing but unnecessary for Pan Fish, I will take the durability of this..
Hey bud... I bought one of these and had it shipped to me up here in Idaho! I love it. Thanks for your review , thats why I got it !!! Gonna break it in on some Crappie at CJ Strike res next week !!!!
If you can find one, try out the TFO trout panfish 6'6" one piece spinning rod. You might like it. Sensitive and durable. Landed loads of fish from small sun fish to 4lb bass. It is my go to.
I’ve caught crappie in Cali, Oregon, and Idaho. Mostly ponds and anything connected off the snake river system. Catching them is certainly easier than finding them!
@@humbugvideos i live in cali as well, In fact i actually bought that same panfish rod because I worked at the same Bass Pro Shops seasonally haha. I have tried for them in Camp Far West, Folsom, numerous ponds. My friend and I even tried to LiveScope them at Amador but we just caught a limit of trout instead lol
What is the warranty on this rod. I noticed some people pointed out the TFO panfish rods that have the no matter what lifetime warranty. I have had over a dozen BPS rods. I love the way they feel and fish, but the durability of mine has been horrible.
60 days normally, however u can buy an separate warranty which lasts for 2 years no matter what happens to it. It’s one of my most used rods, and I haven’t had any problems yet!
I was just at Bass Pro with my younger brothers. If I see you next time I'll say hello! I just bought the TFO ultra light - fast- pan fish rod... haven't used it yet but I'm super excited!
@@MJR_95x It feel pretty nice, I just don’t like the eyelets very much. Could’ve went with better ones for that price point. Just my personal opinion though
Guys I watched this video a couple of weeks ago. I bought 2, 6’8” ultra light rods and I love them. Durable, well made.
I have the 6’ UL paired with a Pflueger President and it is one of my go to rods. I have had it for about six months and use it several times a week. Up to this point the combo has been flawless.
and it looks super snappy with the Pflueger President on there too
Got the 7’2 Medium Light.

Awesome, the 7’2 light would be a sweet crappie rod too!

I've been looking at pairing one of these with the Daiwa Legalis LT in a 1000 size.
Awsome video bro!! just picked one up and I will be fishing the Blanco River in Wimberley, Texas. keep up the good work!!
Good luck! Glad you enjoyed the video🤟🏽

Thanks for taking the time and writing an awesome comment! It’s an amazing rod, caught some nice fish with it already

Awesome, your going to love it dude!
Thanks for the good info - would you use this rod in ML for creek smallmouth up to 16"? Thx
It would be great! Super fun fight for sure
Might not be an ideal rod for saltwater but I'm gonna use it for that to feel the fight in the fish
It would take a lot to pull me away from my 13 Fishing Fate Series Rods. But you make a compelling argument.
Do they make an ultralight in the fate? Cause this is a trout/ crappie specific rod

I love their fly rods, so I may have to check that one out. Thanks for the suggestion
I hope you are honest. I just bought 2 of these rods at BP Memphis, TN Exit 12. Same price. I think they will be fine.
I dropped this video about 3-4 years ago, still agree with everything I said
@@humbugvideos Love these rods....... highly recommend. I have fished these 4-5 times, love them.
What is your opinion about the BassPro shops AirWtream rods. It is lighter than the elite panfish and cheaper.
Haven’t tried em yet, can’t give an honest review!
Nice review..just ordered mine.. got the 6” and putting the newer 2021 Nasci 1000 on it
Lucky, I want the new Nasci so bad! Key word, WANT. Not NEED lol
Awesome. I just got the 7’2” with a $100 quantum reel and a pflueger president reel and a okuma rod , all for $25. I’m happy happy happy lol
Now how’d u manage to do that? That’s a steal my man
Idk I didn’t do anything? He was asking $20 for one and $30 for the other but I offered him $25 and he said ok lol.
@@jeremyvoegeli562 Ohhh gotcha, it was marketplace or Craigslist then. Was just wondering where u got the deal!
out of curiosity, where do you crappie fish? I have been trying to track em down for forever lol

Looks like a good rod to me
I use the the Daiwa spinmatic but might have to pick one of these up
They are awesome, especially for the money
im looking for a ultra light and i was at basspro today and was feeling the 60$ air steam ultra light but i felt like it would break easy
That rod seems decent, but for a little more this rod does laps around that one

@@2JJays awesome, I currently have an injury so I haven’t been at work for a few weeks. Should be back in by end of this month!
@@humbugvideos I wish you a speedy recovery my friend!
Cool thanks buddy
Is this good for mini jigging?
Yes, super light tip on it too!
I wished you would have shown the entire rod up close on camera for everyone to see.
TFO
They make great stuff too!
Is the TFO trout panfish rod good?
@@MJR_95x yes very good for the money, nice feel and light
