Hey Philip first off I love your content. Just curious, with these copy cat niches, why even bother getting in? Someone came up with an idea, then everyone copied them. Is it really worth jumping on a bandwagon and stealing someone else’s idea?

I think he is eluding to the fact that someone creates a good selling design, then many other people copy it and by the time we are watching this video there are so many similar designs that it is difficult to believe that it is worth jumping into that niche. In other words, how could you make any design that is totally unique , but the same…lol
@@PhilipAnders Sorry, should have said “copy cat designs”. Just seems like a precarious road to go down… very little chance of sales and unethical in a way.
@@joseph-the-seventh It is far less “in a way” when it’s your original work that is copied verbatim and your hard-earned money is sucked away by unimaginative people who profit off your back by intellectual property theft. It’s 100% unethical but done every minute of every day on Etsy, Amazon, and etc.

Hi Phillip, I have an Etsy question.. I am planning to open an apparel store for Dog lovers wherein I will be putting designs for Top 19 Top dog breeds in U.S.A and the 20th section would be dedicated to other dog breeds.. Now my question is that Should I only put 1 product that is t-shirts on my store OR Should I rather have 2-3 products (t-shirts, mugs, blankets) under each dog breed section to give the customer more buying options and thereby also increase my Average Order Value? I would appreciate your response, thanks!
