She probably knows where well where she is standing. And gender discrimination is common thing amongst Breakdancers. The world has spoken: 'Enthusiasm' does not equal talent. Raygun has no talent when it comes to breakdancing. With whom did she study? What masters has she learned from. Her misappropriation of New York street culture created by Americans of African, Iberian, and First-Nations descent and claiming to be an expert in that culture is like saying, "I am a ballerina! I've never been to ballet school. However, I am so enthusiastic, entitled, and delusional that I know I can do it!" Who developed the code of points for this Olympic sport? What did it take for one to qualify? How were the judges selected? These are crucial questions. Crazy Leggs is still alive. Thank goodness the Olympic judges saved some face when they didn't award her any points. If her skillset represented the best Australia had to offer, that nations should have declined to participate. The international backlash doesn't stem from misogyny as Anna Mears feebly claims. Mears in equally unqualified to judge the quality of Raygun's performance. Australia would be better served if Mears took off her rose-colored glasses.

Australia, you are responsible for this - years of encouragement and telling her she's good (not to mention allowing her to pursue it as a PhD) has convinced her that she's genuinely good at this when she's clearly not. Now she has completely degraded the world's respect for break dancing and made everyone question higher academia. The Olympics are a competition to find out who is the best of the best - not who has the most heart, or who has the most confidence, or who is the most themselves. Let this be a lesson.

I like how she said in 2008 she was the only female in a male dominated sport. I know that has to be a big fat lie! There’s tons of female breakdancers since the 80s

The "opportunity to participate" argument is ridiculous...
Her participation meant that someone else more talented was denied the opportunity.

I find it hard to believe that she's the best female in AUS. It was the worst ... embarrassing to those who are good.

Yeah, there's just no way - no way - she could be the best!!
It's mind boggling how she qualified and was allowed to represent Australia??

While it is a sport in the Olympics you need to show some respect!! Australia knew there was a break dance competition yet they sent Rachael Gunn!! To mock the sport to mock the Olympics Why? What a disappointment Australia does not even care!!

This performance is at the same skill level as Jim Carey’s parody of Vanilla Ice on In Living Color.
