She's not smashing any stereotypes. She's trying to make the public believe that utter failure in three of the evaluation categories can be made up for, just by being creative. That's like a sprinter telling you "Well I'm not very fast, so I'll just concentrate on moving my arms instead."
Besides, if you look up Gunn's actual results on the Olympics' website you'll soon find out that the judges didn't consider her creative either. They preferred her opponents in every way and every category. Overwhelmingly so.
Most likely because creativity without a minimum of quality has no intrinsic value in sports. Ask any figure skater ...

I totally respect and admire the children and adults who are dancing or breaking because it's a special part of their culture and lives. ( I'm 49 and I've never felt the need to steal or fake someone else's culture just to get attention. )

She’s a university professor too. It all just explains itself

She's not actually a Professor. She's lying about that too.

Definitely her teammates are embarrassed by her and you can see it in their faces during the team interviews when she’s speaking. Someone helped her get in the team and clearly it’s her selfish dream to be famous and call herself an Olympian not because she has the talent to be there

The Olympics committee should disqualify her and remove all information about her from the Olympics and remove her name from the Olympics roster as Australia's champion. She is a fraud , clearly!!

I thought she was amazing, she absolutely smashed it with her interpretive dancing and it's such a shame she scored 0

Oh please Raygun....dont worry about new moves. Olympics used to be the pinnacle of sport but people like you makes feel it's less of an amateur event.

She should most definitely stick to the research side of breaking and leave the actual participation to those who actually have some ability. Best advise anyone could give her.

No, she should just stop. You really shouldn't be teaching something you are bad at.
