Once I got the sleeve off, I was able to thread a small vinyl covered paperclip through the wand and then the hole in the little post. TY for the lesson! All set, and yours is probably the best one I viewed.
Thank you for a great explanation of how this hook is used. I will try to reattach it. I think the sleeve was missing to begin with, so may use the key ring idea.
what about if the blinds are opposite (cheapies from box store) the hoop is on the blinds and the wand has a hook. my wand hook is broken, where do i get new ones?
My sleeve was missing, so until I could find a replacement, I found that yellow shrink tubing was a close fit. Tight but it can be done, Cut off excess with razor knife and shrink with a heat gun. Careful not to warp plastic slats. At some point, I'll get a proper sleeve but this works fine and the yellow is hardly noticeable.

Great idea!
What’s the white plastic thing called where you attached the hook and sleeve. That white plastic with notch is broken for me and needs to order.

with free shipping which cost $4 that doesn't sound too bad.
I've heard good feedback about the woodglut instructions.
