Being a techno dj that has to dj a rap gig has brought me here
I felt that brother 😂tryna learn ASAP
@@WeLoveAstro fkn rought like just listen to techno 😂😂
same here bro, it s a pain
buddies bachelor party for me 😂
How did it go? :)
yooooo dababy
U helped me a lot !! gratitude 🙏🏿 😉
Where do you get your music from?
Great work. I love it. Please I wanna know how you went from 99bpm to 75.5bpm. Thanks!
Just clean echo out and press play
I mean, how did you take "WHAT'S POPPIN" from 99.9bpm to 72.3bpm after mixing and blending. Its a wonderful technique I wanna learn.
@@kingnugzi you can put on sync then take it off when u fade out so it snaps back to a lower bpm that’s how I do it
Thanks. Great mix
🔥🔥🔥👉🏿ruclips.net/video/GOfDLNkX3Qg/видео.html
This is so helpful. As someone who is just getting started and wanting to do a lot of hip hop mixing this is huge. Especially when most beginner tutorials are using house music/ techno. Thank you!
Nah, man. These techniques suck. Rockstar changed bpm 6+%. + no harmonic mixing. Shit.
Tap In... GOD. he echo out previous track to mix tap in. Wtf? Echo out? Really? Echo out sucks, bro. Just it only with different bpm and jenres. In this case he could just use drop mixing.
@@iamdjnvrmnd he just cant mix at all he didnt even touch the eqs just filters lol
As much I love house, techno, and rap I still think rap is the most difficult to seamlessly mix
Try mixing trap, grime together seamlessly at different b.p.m its Sooo easy
Not if you know beats
Sweet mix! Very helpful for learning how to mix hip hop, I mostly mix house so it’s cool to see your approach 😎
Me too my bro!
I am completely African Urban naija, dancehall and hip-pop. But I guess I can learn House music mixing from you... I haven't played in Europe yet that's my challenge maybe😊
Thank you. This is about at my level for mixing. It lets me know I'm on the right track and to keep progressing.
It’s better to rely on your ears rather than looking at Serrato.
@@lonzo1169 doesn’t make a difference anymore, because Serato will always be there, it’s not the 90s
@@denonsearle4439 facts
Good DJing doesn't need to be complicated. Well done as usual. Also nice track selection. Love it.
Straight thumbs up for this! Coming from a House and Techno background to trying to learn Open Format and this has helped massively! Big respect to all the open format DJs out there
6:39 WAS SO FIREEEEE
After 6 years of dreaming to become a DJ I finally bought my first DJ controller and started doing this
Holly cow, same here!
How’s it going
@@jimmymcgill5572 Thanks for asking! It's been really good. I've met new friends and they all are dj-ing for a few years so I'm learning a lot of new things!
awesome! good stuff
@@TomHMedia The Dream
worst mixing ever.
U being scarcastic?
Why hate ?damn
umm... overlapping bass, sudden changes and just overall not that great mixing lol
why the title say 2023 lmao
Details dork, lol

I'm happy to have come across this video. I feel like I've developed some of these skill naturally with the help of crossfader videos. But now I have more confidence in them seeing a pro use them.
I like how you add text to your videos to explain what you’re doing and why. Thanks for the tips from a true beginner!
This is letting me know I’m on the right track. Definitely showed some things I could correct to perfect what I’m doing
Those are definitely nice tips! More hip hop mixes are welcome. Keep up. the good work!
Congratulations on the session!!
How do you upload a session and have no copyright issues?
Thanks and regards!!
Bro how does that BPM drops automatically from 90, to 70
It's a transitional track, so it goes from one BPM to another
@@TimelineBeatshow do u do it tho
@@woody7138 Not sure about Serato, but in rekordbox you can set different tempos at different parts of the track
I know the vibes matter most when djing a gig but like does key matching just get thrown out the window when it comes to rap or why we’re pretty much none of these songs key matched..?
How’s it a 2023 mix if it’s from 2020? ❤
Never DJ’d ever! I live in an area where the bars/clubs play techno/edm rap song remixes. It’s quite literally dog shit. Coming from LA, and the clubs I went to, play hip hop/rap/r&b I loved it. I Lowkey jus wanna bring that vibe to the clubs/bars where I am now. Thank you for this demonstration 👍🏼👍🏼
where do people get their hiphop music with extended intro's?
Such a great lesson, thank you!
I been a DJ since 04 and last few year got into mixing, and this has by far has been the best tutorial. No talk and stopping to explain, simple visual explaining. Thank you
I've been mixing for two months now and house is my game but I've been wanting to start hip hop too when I gather the skills! This was helpful!!
keys ain’t matching bro
Oh boy I was waiting the whole day for your sunday mix and honestly this is sick homie
Best dj mix vid i’ve seen so far, def as regards to hip hop mixing!
I’m gonna make it because of you and how you explain everything 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You're platter control is really bad, its like you're releasing it around the 1 beat and hoping it lines up. Is anyone else noticing that.
It still sounds good ,ppl on the dance floor wouldn’t see all that .
Nobody who goes to listen to a set like this gives a shit
Literally nb cares
I never saw a beginner on ddj1000 😂😂😂
Incredible video you're a legend for sharing this for free man
Where did you find Rockstar with this extended intro??
This channel. And this video specifically has helped me a lot in my first year of DJing. This is one of the first videos I saw when I first got my DJ gear a little over a year ago. I keep returning to the beginner videos I already watched to see how I've progressed. I find I worry way too much about key, mainly because I like to scratch in my intro with the fader up and the eqs lowered. You did that a few times but you did more fade ins. I just wonder if I should build on my style of scratching in most intros, or if I am being annoying by doing it too much. In the beginning. In my mind I was thinking that was a good way to kinda let the crowd know a new song is coming in. Sometimes it works fantastic, sometimes not so much. But because I tend to do that, I worry a lot more about what key my song is in, and sometimes it affects my song selection when really I could just quickly fade in or do a hard drop on the next song. As a rookie at first, I felt like slamming the next song in was too easy lol. I gotta stop over thinking this stuff. I'm a music fanatic, why I got into DJing. Before DJing I hosted and still host karaoke nights and if there are no singers I played music (but not from DJ gear) and people telling me how good I was at picking songs was the reason I got into DJing. But all the extra information makes me want to follow a formula that often doesn't leave me picking the same songs I used to pick organically to get people dancing in between karaoke songs. Such a weird transition. I have a Rane One now and I love DJing. But all of the manual music organization has taken the spontaneity out of my music sense. It's a weird dilemma, I feel like most people start learning how to mix with dj equipment...and THEN learn their music and it leads to a different philosophy of how they choose their music. I already know music. So much so that it is overwhelming....then my sets end up feeling like cluster-fs to me because I'm picking songs based on mixability alone lol.
Argh! I'll get there I just gotta keep workin. I need to stop overthinking it. I also need to put my big boy pants on and organize my crates by VIBE instead of just genre, year bpm, and energy(as dictated by mixed in key).
I think it's the most important as a DJ to check out the vibe from the party/event where you are DJ'ing. At the end of the day I think the music is the most important and the transition comes second. So stop worrying and play some nice music for the people!
Definitely hope to see more of these hiphop mix tutorials from crossfader!! Also appreciated the steps along the way
realizing Hip hop is the hardest to mix. comaared to tech house ha
Great use of different techniques, but I felt like the transitions could've been cleaner
This is such a cool but complicated artform. I have new found respect for dj's
Transition into rockstar was good
Great mix boss. My question is, how the heck you kept RUclips from deleting your video?
I don't think they delete them for copy right, I think they just demonetize them so they can't get paid. Not 100% sure tho
I will have to say, after some practical learning without video guidance, then going back to watching technique videos like this, it's definitely makes a lot more sense to me. Thanks for the great video!
This DJ mix video is dope. The dopest one of 2020 so far 🎶 🎵 🎤

I haven't been into hip hop in years but this making me want to get back into it 👏
🇮🇳 LOVE FROM INDIA❤️
Wow! This was a great video. I am a beginner dj myself and I just learned so much from watching this video. Thank you 🙏🏾
Mixing Hiphop is one of the hardest genres and styles to mix with flow but it's also the most fun
I have my first hip hop gig coming up in Nov 2024. This has helped me out substantially. Thanks a ton 😎
What dj is this? Do they have their own RUclips/soundcloud??🔥
This is one of the most flexible Dj tutoring video I have ever come across In my Life... Thank you for this update❤
I notice all those songs you’re playing are the intro version, my question is when I’m downloading music from DJ pool I download original version with the one with intro so all of my songs are double should I just download the one with intro?
Personal preference. I would say a lot of djs use both depending on how they feel like mixing in the song.
I like having versions of both because some songs can be played without an intro if dropping on the one, especially if the beginning of song is something everyone knows and will get them hyped. Example: Sheck Wes - Mo Bamba, Biggie - Hypnotized, Dr Dre - Next Episode
Usually DJs that incorporarte a lot of turntablist techqniues will just use the originals to scratch in but it's also good to have intro/outro edits for easier club play or dropping acapellas over the intro. Have fun with it and you will develop your own style!
So the thing with the extended intro versions is that they give you more options. Good usage of your Hot & Memory cues allow you to play around with where you start a song so essentially you can turn your extended mix into a ‘straight to the drop’ one. I personally only tend to download the extended intro versions, for songs that don’t already have an intro, for this exact reason.
Idk man if you try to beatmatch hip hop it sounds like shit 90% of the time
this is so cool
Dope mix! Need more vids like this pls!!!
How you get that long intro?
Preparing for the weddings and hitting mental song blocks aka writer's block, after all this year I have been practicing but bedroom back to the club, if you will, is totally different. Lol, Like ridding a bike just pick up and go. Thanks this was inspirational.
that's terrible mixing technique and I'm not a hater, that's not how you get the people dancing in a club
Straight forward and clear 👏👏, thumbs up
dope Mix bro!! awesome video. learned alot my G! 🙏
what's the software please? xv v useful thanks!
Thanks bro needed this right here . Enjoyed the tracks and learned some new ishhh
in other sense.. this is not hip hop. wrong music in title :). hip hop is dead. this is the wors thing ever. but nice skills.
where do you get most of your music ??????
can I ask where u found Pop Star Intro dirty? Been trine find it online
You should explain what you’re doing as you’re doing it
wait how did 77 bpm sound pretty similar to 99?
What every DJ should own: ruclips.net/video/NNRcOiD6I3I/видео.html
I can do house but rap is so difficult man
Anyone know where to get Popstar (Intro dirty)??
Beginner mix on a ddj 1000 srt xD
true.. lol
Where can I buy the intro tools anyone?
All the songs r intro edited?? Or am i missing out some info besides that?
Where did you find Greece? It’s not on bpmsupreme
Please have more videos like this . Too great ❤
thank you for this!!!
where can i download this intro dirty tracks for free?
Damn 😋🥵 the mixtape is hooooot 🥵🔥 thanks atleast I've grasped a content in mixing
Love from India
Your the best... U have taken my mixing to the next level and given me inspiration at a time like this!
Happy to hear that!
can you guys do a begginer latin mix tutorial???
this is the worst
thank you for the lessons! u are amazing
Where can you find the songs with intros
are you key matching ? because i keep hearing the different keys when you mix into a different track . the tempo might be right but it just sounds off ? is there a way to fix that ?
How did you loop the last part in deck 1? How do you specifically looped that part of the song while it’s playing!?
If the normal bpms of these songs are from 120-145 how come in yours is 70-90 bmp and still sound like the original or quicker? Hope this makes sense!!
Hey great video! Was wondering where you get track with the dirty intros? Thanks!
DJ City or BPM Supreme
Nice choice of song more grind like this man keep it up.
This is weak, try remix an acapella
I think djn the type of music u listen to is the easiest because you understand how the songs work .... i could never do a techno set .... i can do old school hip hop rnb n new rap so essy just by understanding what songs are hype n keep everone rocking mix in a lil reggae some new jack swing party rocking all night n a couple popular line dance songs floor will be filled all night
Happy New Year 2022🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉☀️
Do you have any mixing videos on Reloop Touch or VDJ?
Seems like they're anti-vdj biased.
Real CLUB DJ don’t play same singers music at the next, can you get me? So…
Interesting, although I found the mixing technique a bit “heavy”, this is more for “classical” mixing for very generic clubs or parties where they don’t really look for novelty, especially on the music end of things
Where can i download this tracks
1. Dope mix , 2. I like how you had text to explain what you were doing. 3. Did I say dope mix? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I mostly have albums not really like DJ mixing music i guess not like the dance style music, This is more my style of music listening and Hopefully mixing. Thank you for the video. Helps seeing the controls and the movement, and now i have better understanding of the controller hoping to study this video and learn more myself on transitioning and mixxing music. Thank you.
