Hey, this sounds like an amateur problem, but my pass word isn't working at all. It is my first time to log in and it isn't working. But i'm 100% sure, that the password is correct. (It is the same password I typed in on the registration task. How do I fix it? btw I have windows 11.

A heads up for some users, if you are unable to edit the settings for the virtual box such as adding the iso file, you may need to enable virtualization in your BIOS. It will be under CPU configuration and may be called: Virtualization or SVM

I never knew about the bidirectional in the drag n' drop feature. This is my second installation. In my first installation, I could never copy and paste from Win10 onto my virtualbox and vice-versa. Now i know why. I decided to give it a try on my older install and bingo copy and paste works. My life has just been made easier. Great vid, great instructions..
If anyone is having problem like they are not able to save the setting im the virtual box for ubuntu because the OK button is greyed out , you just need to go to the BIOS settings of your PC and turn virtualization ON

Just for fun setup KVM Hypervisor on Ubuntu 20.04 (bare metal) && make sure "kvm" has been enabled. Than deploy same OS's KVM Guest in 5-10 min . Ryzon 7 3700X box with 16 GB RAM. Make sure that the above iso file is ticked, in the optical drives section. 5. Go to view, click virtual screen 1. 6. Click scale to 100% 7. Auto- resize guest display should be ticked too.
Hey, I followed exactly the same steps, but at 17:43 when from the Devices dropdown list I click on "Insert Guest Additions CD Image" it throws me an error and I am unable to perform this step and hence unable to enlarge the screen size automatically. I did it manually by increasing the screen resolution from settings. Dis anybody encounter the same and has a fix for it ? Or am I missing anything here ??

you might enter the code wrong. I did type it wrong and same error happened to me. Check the code command i got that error cause of i forgot to add "i" in "essential". (I hope it will help. I am kinda newbie in these things.)

if resoution is not dynamic, follow this from (Stack exchange ) Settings (of the VM) > Display > Graphics Controller > and select "VBoxVGA" VirtualBox had set this option to "VMSVGA" by default for me. Fortunately, I noticed this subtle difference when comparing the settings between some of my virtual machines. I hope this works for you as well!
If you change the resolution in the settings within linux you can make the VM screen way bigger. It wont be as easy to change as the dragging of the corner but it certainly works. Just go: Settings then display and turn the resolution to a higher ratio

If you have do have a black screen after running the "sudo apt install build-essential dkms linux-headers-$(uname -r)" and going to full screen, be certain you have set VirtualBox to have enough video memory to run. (Setting, Display, Video Memory and its "out of the red" then restart the Virtual Machine and you should be good.)
After the "checking disks" phase at 10:45 the vm completes the check process and then freezes and I don't see the screen at 10:50. What could be causing this?? Thank you in advance for any help!

@@belal9366 If you have Windows 10 go to settings, update & security, recovery, click restart now, click trouble shoot, advanced settings, UFI settings, it should put you into bios settings, then just look for virtualization and enable it.
To all those who still can't figure out the maximizing the screen .... Power off Ubuntu server - go to settings in the virtual box - press display- set the display to VBOX type option given right below the gliders- then turn on your server again and you are good to go

Try changing the display setting: Graphic Controller from VMSVGA to VBoxVGA. It worked for me!

Perfect Install! Thank you! If you have do have a black screen after running the "sudo apt install build-essential dkms linux-headers-$(uname -r)" and going to full screen, be certain you have set VirtualBox to have enough video memory to run. (Setting, Display, Video Memory and its "out of the red" then restart the Virtual Machine and you should be good.)

After the "checking disks" phase at 10:45 the vm completes the check process and then freezes and I don't see the screen at 10:50. What could be causing this??

after changing the advanced setting to bidirectional you can simply drag and drop.
We cannot share files or folders between the os, only text can be copy and pasted bidirectionaly
if you are having trouble installing the tool for full screen run this command "sudo apt-get update"

@@belal9366 If you have Windows 10 go to settings, update & security, recovery, click restart now, click trouble shoot, advanced settings, UFI settings, it should put you into bios settings, then just look for virtualization and enable it.

To all those who still can't figure out the maximizing the screen .... Power off Ubuntu server - go to settings in the virtual box - press display- set the display to VBOX type option given right below the gliders- then turn on your server again and you are good to go
