  • In this video we are covering some of the spots in 4th Gen Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks can experience water intrusion into the cab. If left unattended, it can lead to thousands of dollars worth of damage due to mold and mildew that you may never even notice. The result was the reality with our 2014 Ram 2500 after discovering a few leaks at the back of the truck coming from the 3rd brake light and the rear sliding window. Hopefully this information is useful and can ensure that your truck stays sealed up and mold free.

Wow it sounds like I need to take my 18 to the dealer now. I just noticed what I thought was a stain from the kids is actually that exact thing in the corner of my headliner as yours.

I thought the same thing til I pulled my 3rd brake light and had standing water. Get it fixed while under warranty

I've had The third brake light issue myself. My daughter noticed it in the carwash. It freaked her out!
I was out of warranty, so I just replaced it myself. Took a trip to home Depot and got some window weather stripping.
Worked like a charm. Two years later and still no leaks.
Good info on the Drag link too brother.
FYI, I watched all your commercials. 👍

I have a 19 classic with the same problem are the leaks just coming from the break light or vents from between the bed and cab? And how did you seal the break light exactly.

Brakelight, use 3m windshield sealant/adhesive on gasket area and reinstall

I cut the plastic in the front of my 2018 Ram 2500 for 35” tires. I think I have water in it from that. My drivers side front floor board is wet. I think that’s were it’s coming in. I don’t have a sun roof at it’s not wet anywhere else an thoughts?

Do you have cab lights? Shouldnt allow water inside from just cutting the plastic unless you cut through the body seam. Pull you door sill up and take the A pillar off along with the side panel for the dash. Use a garden hose to run water around the lights and windshield and check for leaks at those locations. I believe the A/C drain is on the passenger side as well.

They need to submit a star case and it has to get authorized by fca

Wow , not surprised so your saying might not be a thing i can get fixed in 2 weeks, a guy made a video of the new upgraded drag link thing is way thicker and looks way better.

Depends on how quick they get the case approved and the drag link shipped. It looks to be the same as the 2019+ drag links but I haven’t confirmed. Ill post a pic here shortly and there have been guys that have ordered the synergy drag link and gotten reimbursed for it through FCA.
