No one is downgrading kobe. Yes he had the drive, heart, competitive and skills but Jordan just had all that kobe possessed with a bit more talent. Jordan was quicker, had bigger hands had a better first step, jumped higher, played defense at a higher level and was more creative with the basketball. There is no shame coming in second to jordan but Jordan was just on another level. Jordan played 15 seasons. you can discount 2 seasons with the wizards. 1 season where he broke his foot. one season where he he came back late from retirement. In 11 full seasons, he led the league in scoring minus his rookie year where he still scored 28ppg and won 6 titles in that span. You will never see a more dominant run where he won 2 back to back three peat in a 7 year span. Its like asking Brady to win 6 superbowls in 7 years. Brady needed 21 seasons to even surpass jordan's 6 titles. Thats basically a whole decade to win one more title than jordan. No one can compare to Jordan during his hey day, its just that simple

I would put Bird in this conversation too! Man just don't get the same respect as Mike and kobe.

I mean, some put Larry bird over Kobe in top 10. Kobe gets disrespected more today, the players/legends gives Kobe stories now to put some respect on kobe's name but fans, media, analyst will still disrespect Kobe. They even barely put him in top 10 all time.

Because bird is not better than Jordan and Kobe and that is facts, Bird was a better shooter, rebounder, passer and more clutch, Jordan kobe were better scorers, defenders, more skilled, better athletes

There was giant posters of Bird diving for a ball that says. I HATE players who just watches the ball go out of bound!

Wanted to play every game for the fans who paid hundreds to get close to him. Shot a free throw with a torn acl. Shot left because he dislocated his fingers on his right. Literally was injured almost all his career after Shaq left. Kobe put it on the all floor for his fans and greatness. My GOAT RIP

My son played basketball in Moreno Valley when he was 11. One of his team mates was Kawhi Leonard. I watched him a couple of games and I knew he was going to the NBA and was going to excel. He was FAST and handled the ball way beyond his years.
