Thats the perfect build man. Love the old paint look. He said a fancy paint job won't win races but whats under the hood will lol . I love my old chevys. This video has made me decide to keep my old 68 c10 shortbed and build it. I was already leaving it patina look like this anyways. But I kinda wanna keep it oldskool with my 408sbc and a mechanical trans 700r or a manual 4l80 good luck have fun guys. Wish yal was closer to NC I have trouble finding a close dyno and good tuner for my LS builds.
I wish you could heart a video. I have a 76 c10 shorty ive been stockpiling parts for. My goal is to drive it all the way there from Az and have Matt tune it. Why? Because it would be a cooo adventure. Lol
Thanks for the video man I’ve got a gen 3 5.3 with a 7875 billet wheel I’m using a blow through carburetor for the C&s But I’m on 113 race gas. And really want to change to e85
@@SloppyMechanics Thanks for the reply. Doing some hand holding with a customer with a 6.2 don't bs me type build, one of those that "needs" 1000 wheel on the street. Looks like the 80/88 will get him where he wants to go without bringing the suck with drivability.
@@HsPerformanceWi call into viren and he can size up some twins also, anything bigger than the 80 is tough to package unless its something with the room to do it, sometimes twins are easier since twin 3 inch exhaust is easier to package also
I made 830 whp unlocked with a 80/88 on e85 at 19 lbs. At that boost it was making 26 lbs of backpressure. If you want to make more I'd get a 94 or 96mm hotside.
HELP I can’t find any information on a MS2 V3.0 BATCHFIRE WASTED spark setup. I think I read everything, I need your help, going high or going low? What circuit to build(resistors or 8 pin chips) I’m not reading a tach signal The Jimstim isn’t producing a tach signal(2.04 CPU) Help
Hey Matt; dumb question here but I just downloaded one of the tunes from the cabinet. Do I need to Manually adjust the timing on my Holley handheld or is that already taken care of in the tune I downloaded?
I have a 72 myself Patina cut down long bed with a 4.8 next gen 7875 e85 th400 transbrake terminator X etc. getting close to finishing. Sweet build 🙌
What mounts and oil pan did you use? Does your truck have the big trans tunnel hump?

What version of the t4 80mm is it ?? Is it the billet 80mm turbo with the t4 87x82 turbine ? So it seems maxed out at 700 whp ?
I have a stock 2005 5.3 with a BTR stage 2 turbo cam. Going in a Foxbody. What do you think about the VS racing next gen 7875?

It’s almost always 13-16 deg up top that gets it done

I'm confused. I remember the Colorado making 900 or so with a 7875 t4 on a 6.0. An 8088 t4 won't do the same or better? What AR was this?
I think it’s the 83/75 but maybe Matt can chime in. I run one of those but I use 4.8s and 5.3s.

It varies state to state but most just place restrictions on noise output and really don't care about location.
