- Tyler has built a bunch of C10s that i have tuned.
this one being a nice all motor setup.
opted to try out a SEP92mm throttle and SEP 60lb medium height ev14 body injectors to see how they would do, 421whp through an auto on pumpgas was 50% injector to give you an idea

Is there a BTR stage three truck cam? Or stage three car cam ?
What exhaust it that??
Really wonder what wheels those are.. sick!
What can is it?
Carburetor sound response there good work
So enough injector for 13lbs and 800rwhp?
Luv the square body trucks. Cant wait to finish mine. Engine is finally done. 408 stroker with lsa blower. Cant wait to hear her breathe 🗣🗣
I have a lsa supercharger on my lq9 with factory ctsv injectors. ......the terminator x doesn't have ctsv injectors on the drop down screen, so I selected ls3 injectors and bumped them to 53lbs on basic tuning. .........do you have a better suggestion???
If it runs pretty good, that’s the best
That one ford guy thumb downing.
Love the sound, I would like to see it supercharged and the results of dyno
I put an LQ4 in a 87 K20 with a 4l80e. I removed a 5.3 and a TH400. I had a btr stage2 cam in that 6.0 and hated it. It robbed me of my bottom low end torque compare to a stock cam and being a heavy 4wd truck I put the stock cam back in.
I hope you upload this tune file.lol I have the same combo in a 67 camaro.
I did the day I uploaded this
Ughhhh I need some time to get my l92 swap done in my crown vic
would there be any gains/benefits from running flex/E in a N/A Heads cam ported TB and aftermarket intake setup on an Ls1 ?
Not a lot. Stick with premium. Maybe like 30 hp tops, I'd guess
Hey Matt glad you took a break. Recharge. Take a step back. Time to enjoy family life and such.
I was wondering if you ever had anywhere near that much gain from injector changes or phasing with stock intakes?
One if these years I am going to learn that I can point my mouse all over your computer screen and I can't click on nothing lol. Tyler has a beautiful square body for sure nicely done.
Do it with the original block that came in that truck
Hell ya matt can't wait for the mustang
Sounds mean baby.
What can is in it?
Matt is the LS 🧙♂️ wit the tunes 💯
Man I need to get my 76 rolling. Ahhh. Im a blow off valve and a terminator x away. Lol. Used all your knowledge selecting my parts. Thanks so much! Still gonna drive it all the way to see ya for a tune!
Where the shop located so when mine is done 👀😁
Not going to lie... even with no spoolie boi that would be a nice ice cream getter also.
That truck sounds and looks badass
Man ive been wondering if the swap is worth it over a lq4/lq9 any info you guys have on how reliable the l92 block is wanting to put my 243 heads on it
Lq4/lq9 are more reliable
Outstanding work Sir
Them 20" fake steelie stockers tho. o.O #sexybish
Awesome truck
Whats the tire size?
Whats the torque numbers on this truck?
What transmission?
Th400
@@SloppyMechanics thanks
Sweet little truck, had one like that back in the day, at this point, body only:) Tyler, just awsome!!! Love it and have fun with her;)
Love to see more detail tunes
Shows that a pro like you you add a whole bunch more power by just tweaking..good job...i enjoy the nerdy stuff..thanks for sharing..
Great video man! You have talked about cam timing vs injector at mid idc percentage a couple times now. And I'm curious would this be a beneficial adjustment on my turbo car that is like 60% idcs so it isn't pooling on the back of the valve as much?
Wow super nice
Possibly a different intake for the truck for low end
Sweet build!! I bought my '86 K-10 in exactly that paint scheme. Chevy called it Special 2 Tone Combo B, in this case Canyon Copper and Frost White. I know because I still have the factory brochure.
At what point would you go to a 102 tb?
I know you asked this 2yrs ago.. But maybe this will help someone in the future... So when you go with a larger stage 3 or 4 cam. When duration creeps over 230 intake side and 240 on exhaust. You'll need to help "feed" that camshaft (air in and air out of engine). But you will know when its time to upgrade from a 90/92mm combo to a 102/103mm combo via dyno pull. When you see peak whp drops off sooner than the camshaft is advertised at, you know its 'choking' or grasping for more air. Thats also when you know you need better heads or at least port your current heads. Intake runner length also is a factor as well. Shorter runner gives more higher rpm power. So the longer the runner, the more low end hp/tq you'll get. Which is normally a goal in trucks being heavier vehicles. So a mid to tall tunnel style intake would be better in smaller truck cams. That is why from the factory, a truck intake manifold is taller vs a car. It isn't just a hood clearance issue.
What a sexy ride!
Dont get much better 👌👍
Whoa, those mufflers do sound great! I've always loved Magnaflow, but these sound like a cross between Flowmaster and Magnaflow. Very intrigued now, may have to check them out. You say he's selling this, how do I get ahold of him?
Phasing injectors..... time to research
That’s Cake you’ll need a cam card and calculator, plot out valve events @ .050 on a line graph from 0 to 720 for a complete 4 stroke cycle convert your valve events @ 050 to crank degrees starting at 0 plot them on your line graph. recognize your injection window between evc and ivc plot it in several degree after the evc event to account for reversion of the Ivo event
If it’s stock ecu with an EOIT ( end of injection target) table , youd have to calculate your SOIT ( start of injection target ) by injector duration in crank degrees at your preferred engine speed
(There’s a formula on google ) it’s Basically rpm to crank degrees per ms and multiply that by your injector ms to find injection duration
If it’s a stand-alone like a goldbox they got and SOIT table in there
you can calculate your injection duration at any pw and engine speed if you have a data log containing the rpm and injector pulse in ms and fine tune you EOIT
You can Even write custom maths in hp tuners scanner for live injection duration and calculated soit
Basically the goal at idle is adjust the soit to the richest afr aka all the fuel is getting In the cylinder and not out the exhaust in the overlapping valve events after you got the richest afr adjust the ve to target and your all set up for idle
@@anthonyl8755 I'll give this a shot this evening. Thanks
the holley has a built in caclulator where you put in the cam events and it builds a table
@@chrisn6108 or listen to Matt that’s easier 😂
Bad ass truck. I love how you gained HP just with injector data.
What’s that some sweet na response and sounds. Very neyez.
Clean work Matt!! I like it!
Content is goooooddddd. That is a huge gain for some savvy tuning.
i think it would sound even better with the stage 2 cam great power gains from the tune tho
Love it. Great job Matt
Bad Ass! Incredible gains for NA build. This has convinced me to get my Heads/Cam LT1 Caprice Dyno tuned to see how much more it's got in it.
Great all motor numbers, but really makes you think, 430 wheel when you could turbo, skip the cam and intake and lay down 550 wheel. Looks like I’m going to turbo by LS swapped Chevelle. All motor has been fun but turbo just make more sense
What model mufflers are they bullet or oval?
Unsure
Very nice, not everyone wants 700 hp at the tires, and that's fine, I bet she rides great
Where did you find those rims
they look like delrays
What wheels are those
Detroit speed somethings
That sounds amazing
Sweet
The gains from injector phasing are believable but 30hp from the "right" deadtimes? What's the explanation for gaining that much? Yes proper injector data is key for tune that runs well in all conditions but shouldn't impact power one bit.
That thing is nice! Is this tune uploaded into the Sloppy file cabinet?
Yes
@@SloppyMechanics Thanks!
@@SloppyMechanics Nice SWB, I’m doing a L92 in my 72 Chevelle SS2 cam with FiTech throttlebody EFI (it performed very well on my sbc383)… I’m trying to figure out timing table values using MSD 6014 box.
Wow that's incredible from Small tweaks.
My project is still in the works but I would like to have you tune it in the spring. I'm not too far from you and it's a build based off your stuff.
My tiny brain still can comprehend how changing injector data can pick up 30 more HP . If the AF ratio remains the same . And also say you are running batch injection instead of sequential are you really leaving that much power on the table?
I don't see it either. The gains from proper phasing are totally in line but 30 up from a different deadtime? If afr was kept the same between those runs there is nothing in the injector data that would explain that big of a gain.
@@vw1320 the closed loop isn't working as hard
@@austindoud273 and how does that explain a 30 hp gain?
Yo Matt I’ve been doing moreLs stuff uploaded a vid on nitrous 2490 check it out sickna noises promise
That intake is pretty much a waste of money unless you have a light vehicle with good converter steep gears aggressive cam then it will make more than the tbss but only over 5-6k
LS3 intake manifold would work best , looks nice and you can pick them up cheap .
Damn that truck is mint
*chef making "tasty" jesture with fingers on mouth*
Chef's Kiss?
@@BullittKid08 after further research, yes. Today I learned what chef's kiss means haha 🍻
What an awesome square body! It's neat to see a simple naturally aspirated build with all the crazy forced induction I see everywhere nowadays. Maybe I didn't catch it, but does it still have VVT or was it deleted? Anyway, I love it.
Vvt removed
Those wheels
I didn't know the l92 existed. We only got ls3s over here. Sounds amazing, the bigger cams make me want to ruin my l77s fuel economy just for the note!
The l92 was in the camaro ss with an automatic
@@clifftonarnold6989 that was the L99 In the Camaro L92 was In the trucks
