I love the video so much I watched it twice. You filled it so full of information on how you set up. Good luck with your work. I even figured out how to subscribe to your channel. Thanks again.
I love your videos! Very informative , I love how you actually show your set up instead of just talking about it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Love your simplicity and honesty. You are a great example of perserverance and, for sur, I will keep following you (I´m a begining on soap making), wishing your channel to grow (sorry my english ...).
I always write down what I'm bringing then I write down each sale and I take note if it was CC or cash it's been my system since 2012 when I first started do craft shows 😄
yes, I have been doing pretty much the same for several years, other than I never noted if it was cash or not. Then I would match what money I had extra in my bag with the items sold. I've recently changed how I am doing it, I may do a "talking head" video on what I am doing now...mostly for some advice LOL
I love your sharing of how to set up. I'm almost on Pinterest for ideas. Love your bathtub. Sooooo cute! I would love to see your tablecloths white to lighten up the space. Do you put a logo or sign out? I usually have a table cloth crosswise with my logo on the front.
Hi Donna!! You are right about the table cloths. I bought them years ago and wanted something different, every table either had white or black. I am currently looking for something to lighten it all up, and found a teal color one that I almost bought but the return policy was an issue and the square samples were going to cost over $25 in shipping!! I even sort of argued with the company on that and they would not budge. I have a table skirt that I put over my table cloths with my logo on them - they are also old and a bit out of date LOL - I need to get this figured out before my next show in October. Thanks for watching and for your suggestions!🤗
Wow you did really well! We're on day 2 of a 3 day festival and haven't gotten anywhere close to those numbers. But we also don't have as much product as you do. Really liked your setup. We have alot of the wax melts and considered a pegboard setup, currently being displayed on a table. Enjoyed the video and waiting to see what's next! Thank you for your efforts here.... gives us newbies something to achieve!
Thank you so much for your kind words and subscribing! I used to put my wax melts on the table in a tray of sorts - that worked pretty good when I only had a handful of scents...but I have this problem of making too many products 😂😂😂, ran out of table room and I had to come up with something else to display them on. I love that rinky dink ladder LOL
and a 3 day festival sound brutal in June! I may have a 10 day one this fall if I get in and am already wondering if I will make it (physically and mentally) LOL
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Hi, Yeah 3 hot n humid days and nights! We are whooped... I was able to leave for a few hours to come take care of the farm and go back but Anne stuck it out. Anyway, we didn't do great financially but people came to buy cause word got around the festival and we were asked to come back in September. It's a start..... this week is new product building. Lol Thank you again for your videos and sharing your experiences.
@@backwoodsbushcraft2633 that's great about the word getting around. I have a show that I went to a few years ago, I only sold around 200-250. I wasn't sure if I would go back, but every year since I increased my sales, and this year it was almost 800. That was crazy good for me...I'm so glad I decided to return!
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Thank you Tammy. That's how I felt. Vendor fee was a little high but it was for 3 days. And being there 12-14 hours a day it didn't seem to pay off financially. I was looking at it wrong, We are new to this so putting in the time to get noticed is the pay off. We'll be sticking with it! Lol Thanks Tammy!!
My husband always thought I should paint it, I could never commit to it though. Now I have a completely different setup - as soon as I have the final touches on it I will probably post an update! Thanks for watching Sue!😃
Hi Helena! I'm glad you liked this video! I usually have help setting up and tearing down and then I'm usually on my own during the shows. If I have help it takes about 1 hour or so to bring everything in and set up most products. A lot of time I set up the night before and finish when I get there in the morning. Tear down, my husband and I can get it done in 30 min. - If I am by myself set up is closer to 2 hours and tear down closer to an hour.
Hi! My husband cut it down to size. My dad had an old wooden ladder in his garage that we cleaned and painted. It was a shorter ladder - maybe 5 feet tall, if that - From there we just zip tied the peg board to the ladder. We ended up just keeping it on the ladder all the time (we started by cutting the zip ties off and taking it apart but found that was pretty unnecessary. )
Congrats on 591 subscribers! I'm not really surprised ... your videos are so informative and interesting. Love love love your display, and I will be using your improvement on the bath bomb display LOL! Those donuts are really cute - check out Jerika Zimmerman's channel (Quench Soap); she makes them too and not too long ago did a video on them .. she adds sprinkles on half of the top. I was also watching a recent video from a candle maker (Green Valley Made) and I liked how she had some greenery jazzing up the table, think I will try that too. Looking forward to the tallow :)
Hi Cheryl! Thanks :) - I just checked out Green Valley Made, I am totally stealing the greenery idea, Love it!! I also have seen a few Jerika Zimmerman's videos but I don't think I saw the bath bomb donut one, I will have to check that one out soon. Thanks again for the bath bomb display help - I'm so much happier with them up higher ♥😊
Ty for sharing this, bc Injust started selling personal care products and idk what to do or where to start and I stumbled across your video. The boxes you used, sre they just regular boxes propped up?? And ty so much gor this informative video 🙏🏾🙌🏾.. #Newsubscriber
You are so welcome! Thank you for subscribing 💖 The boxes I used were children's shoe boxes I got from Uline. It took awhile to find the right size, and they are more $$ than I wanted but they can be used over and over so that helped. Any box you can find in the size that works for you would be fine tho. Good luck with your new business!!!
Hi Mary! (I got your message but it is easier for me to reply here) - My son and husband made them. They are scrap 1x4 and 1x6 boards that we made open boxes with. We just screwed them together. Then I took a 1x6 and set them on top. If you watch again at the 4 min mark I do show it in detail. The tallest board is sitting on a small craft that is on its end (open to the back of the table) I go the craft at IKEA but I think Walmart has those smaller crates too. I too had such a problem trying to find the right risers! I loved this because I was able to make it as long as I wanted - all the ones I found pre made were so short I would have had to buy 2 at least to get the same length.
Do you mind sharing how much it cost to participate in that craft fair? Some of the markets/fairs near me are SO expensive that I'm not sure that it would be worth it.
I would not presume you are hard of hearing. I tested it on my computer and I can hear it ok. Not my usual audio quality but I can hear it quite plainly. The only thing I can think is that the volume on the device setting is turned down. Other than that, I'm sorry you are having trouble
I have been searching for stair stringers to make an elevated display for coffee mugs. Your idea for the elevated shelves has just solved my problem.
Oh I’m so glad! It is hard to find the right depth with store bought ones isn’t it!?
From under 500 to 1.7k...nice! Thanks for the tips!
YAY!!! Glad to help! 😃
I love what you did with the peg board and ladder.
Thanks! I was pretty proud of myself for that one!😂
Very creative. Beautiful display. Sheryl was so kind❤️
Thanks so much (and yes she was!)🥰
You're welcome. I have my first pop up in July and you have indeed given me some great ideas. Much blessings love ❤️ 🇯🇲

Where do you get your kraft soap boxes? Love them!!
Uline - www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-11570K/Retail-Boxes/Shoe-Boxes-9-x-7-x-4-Kraft?FromOrderHistory=Y They work great!
Where did you get the large bath tub I love it!!!
It was at a store called Big R. I think they have closed down most of them around here now though. - I love it and it really draws people in!😊
Awesome... I’m getting ready for a festival and just love how you “make it work”😃 where did you get the bath tub, what a neat idea.
Thanks Jea! I bought the tub at a store called Big R. It was a Tracker Supply type store but I think they are all out of business...🙄
Nice set up. I just found your Ch and I subbed 😊
Thanks for the sub!💖
Genius ideas!! Can I ask were you got the cardboard boxes with lids that your soaps are in?
Thanks! Absolutely - I got them from ULine - they are children’s shoe boxes!😆

What size are the box’s you put your soap into ? Also where did you get the box at ? Thank you very much.
9x7x4 - I get them from Uline - I believe they are kids shoe boxes

I think it was around 35.00 or so. Most of my shows run between 30 and 45 dollars.
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique That's very reasonable. I need to keep looking until I can find more affordable shows.
do you remember the size of table you use?
the table with the soaps is 6 foot, the other table with the creams is an 8 foot table.
