Thank you so much for all of your videos. I love your tips, instructions and how your share your own stories and experiences. I wish I knew of you before my first pop-up show. I made the mistake of not researching the event better and it turned out to be such a disaster. It was not well-marketed, and I should have known because it only cost $50 while other events in my area costs $100+ I counted maybe less than 100 people walking around but they advertised it as 15k+ reservations 🥹 I sold 2 items in total… It took me a long time to be mentally ready to sign up for another one, and it’s this weekend. I hope I’m more prepared now. But I’m glad I have your videos to guide me through. Please know you are a godsend and don’t stoppppp posting 🥰
Sometimes the hardest part of dealing with a slow market isn't the financial loss, it's the loss of confidence so I totally get it! But just remember that it happens to ALL of us and sometimes markets aren't successful due to reasons we have no control over. The best we can do is make the most of the opportunity - take LOTS of product pics while your set-up looks nice, film a couple reels that you can share on your socials, and talk with other vendors to make some valuable connections! SO happy my videos help in a small way:) best of luck with your next event!!
I appreciate the information. As a new vendor I'm still struggling to create an interesting tent space. Good info here! I really like the fact you customize some of your inventory specifically for the event. Very clever! Thank you for sharing.
I was lucky enough to get invited by a small business in downtown to be a pop-up shop for first friday so most the money I need to earn is for supplies
Thank you for this video this really helped. My first pop up is at a brewery that is family & Dog (fur baby) oriented. They will be having live music and its Luau themed. I'm super excited but so nervous because my products are all things sweet. From cake to scones, so figuring out what to bring in this heat on top of all the details, i find myself saying "why am i doing this" lol . Watching your video has given me a bit more confidence. thanks again.
I purchased a tent from one of your other videos. Thank you for the recommendation and discount code! I'm looking forward tonusogn it at my very first market!
Hi Monica. Thank you for all your valuable tips and advice which i appreciate and have implemented. im preparing for my first pop up events, so your videos are a definite asset❤
I hate the trash talk but I tried out a small business of my own and some places or coordinators charge you $45 or more to set up a booth and end up not selling nothing, who's making the real money? And some places only let you set up for 4 hours, I rather be a coordinator rent a small land and get $45 or more per each tent , get 20 vendors and make bank
Ah, what I’d give to only pay $45 for my booth. It’s ridiculous, I’ve only found markets that charge a minimum of $130! So ridiculous, but yes, I agree.
Hi Monica!! I also do popup shops and I love watching your videos!! I get so much inspiration and good information from them!!! I just have one question for you. How did you learn to make your own candles? Thanks so much for filming so much of your before, during and after pop ups!! It’s lots of fun to see someone else’s process!! Tina 🩷💜🩵💚💛💙♥️🧡
I like this video. It's knowledge able and well put together. I like the earrings and scrunchies. Especially since everything is hand made. I just like pop up videos. Thank you for making this for people. -Trae
Hi Monica! I absolutely love your videos and business. I am attending my first pop-up shop soon and have to have liability insurance in order to set up a tent. Do you just have a basic liability insurance for your business? I would love to bring a tent but am not sure how to go about the insurance. Thank you!!
Thank you so so much for this video Monica! New to your channel and I'm also an entrepreneur. I want to do a pop up shop in the near future and your advice is very helpful. This will be my first pop up shop so this is exciting and helpful ! Much success on your business !! 🥰🥰
Hello Monica, I’m so glad I found your series! I will be having my first pop up event this month. All your tips are very helpful. Can you please tell me where you got your banner? I need one. Thank you 🙏🏼
It varies! Local events that are for a special cause are usually free, smaller markets range from $50-$100, and bigger markets go from $100-$300. And I've seen big weekend events that are more than that! I tend to stick to the markets that are around $100 or less because I feel like those are the ones that are worth it.
I personally have never done a market where the fee was over $120. If they try to charge you anywhere over $100 I would definitely try to do some research on the market and make sure you will definitely get your money's worth. Talk to other vendors who have done the market in the past , or even as the market organizers for some attendee estimates.

Once I went to a fair that was $50 for a table, only to be told that they wouldn’t be advertising it. What am I paying you for??
Good idea but you can’t make money without vendors so stop raining on their parade! Support the vendors!
This is the best market video! Thank you
thank you for these amazing tips, I appreciate it.
i am in love with these videos !! they are so helpful to me, as my first pop-up is coming soon !

this is so kind! I learn how to make candles by watching youtube tutorials! and looking up blog posts about any specific questions I had.
I like this video. It's knowledge able and well put together. I like the earrings and scrunchies. Especially since everything is hand made. I just like pop up videos. Thank you for making this for people. -Trae

I use facebook groups usally you can find groups in your area❤❤
Girl how big is your banner and your tent? X
Can you give a idea of how much it cost to attend these events on average? Trying to see if i can afford to do this. Thank you for your videos!

I am loving your videos! Just curious, are you by chance Filipino?
thanks! I'm half:)
I have applied for a Pride event for June, I dont know if I’ll be accepted but I have been working on inventory
best of luck!!
I was hoping youd share if the prices are worth it or not.... like if a vendor charges $200 etc.
I personally have never done a market where the fee was over $120. I’m dealing with my feelings on being modest. I know I need to be less modest. I can brag all day about other people but myself or things I do 🙃🤐
hello madam this canopy is sold out and where can we get it i live in india
I like this one from Amazon! amzn.to/3XOd0LM
Do you need a license to sell at a pop-up shop
Yea I’d imagine a sales tax licensee. Do your own research tho.
Is it necessary to get a license to sell handmade purses?
I don't think you need a license! But it's always a good idea to register your business with the state you live in.
