    I have a tip for you. I saw a RUclips of a gal that was doing a similar recording. Is you sharing these wonderful ideas but she said those Uline racks are three times as expensive as a dog crate and I think she got a large dog crate and it’s alreadyconnected you just fold it flat for storage but check it out

    Thank you very much for making this video. Really liked your table set up and stacking solutions: simple, uncluttered and effective (really liked also how you solved the cards issue: display unwrapped cards and put a basket with wrapped cards right next to it, ready to be given to the customer).
    In regards to the profits, I want to do these craft fairs in the future and decided to treat them as brand promotion events. You might get lower (or no) profits on the day, but you also might get some returning customers to your online shop out of those fairs.

    This is such a helpful video, thanks! Having my first stand in November with linocut printed cards, wooden pins and magnets and such things. Thank you so much for this video!
    I also have the idea of making some sort of "lottery", so where people can draw out for only 2,- or something and get a small thing - like a bookmark or something. Just an idea I need to see if it makes sense for the items I sell. I have seen this on some markets and it is always fun to draw something where you don't know what you get and the relatively low prize makes more people attend your stand where they maybe would not have bought something otherwise.

    • @maybekatie
      @maybekatie  Месяц назад

      I'm so sorry for my late reply on this, this comment slipped past me somehow! wind is so tricky with paper goods, I would say one of the best things you can do (if it's an option) is have a walled tent that's weighed down with sandbags or something of the like so that minimal wind is coming at you 😅 otherwise just wrapping anything you can in some kind of packaging to keep it safe in case it does blow away 🥺

    Yo le daria un consejo ,soy decoradora de escaparate y aparte de que llame la atencion tienes que buscar la manera de que todos tus articulos se vean , si no los ve el clente y solo ve el primer muestrario y el que tienes d3etras y no se ve puede ser ese el que le guste y lo tapas con el primero, tampoco se puede decir a la gente "Mire a qui hay mas puede que alguno le guste "Eso molesta por que la gente le gusta cotillear sin que les esten diciendo que mire mis articulos, aqui hay mas" Yo como consejo pondria una muestra de cada cosa que se vea bien y luego lo demas lo tienes guardado para la venta, pero sobre todo se tiene que ver todos tus articulos y yo veo que tapas unos con otros

    • @habersmashery
      @habersmashery 3 месяца назад

      Yeah it’s just a cadence thing. In UK English and parts of the US we tend to pitch down at the end of a sentence. The exception is asking questions, when our pitch goes up. So naturally a regional cadence that goes up at the end for a non-question sounds unusual to us. Neither way is correct, it’s just different speaking styles.
