I have a tip for you. I saw a RUclips of a gal that was doing a similar recording. Is you sharing these wonderful ideas but she said those Uline racks are three times as expensive as a dog crate and I think she got a large dog crate and it’s alreadyconnected you just fold it flat for storage but check it out
Omg did not expect that! 😂 I hear “Wholly Handmade” and think, oh another named that! Then hear Sherwood Park!! Didn’t realize I clicked on a local video 🥰 I’m prepping for my first market now!
It was so amazing getting to meet you at the market! I just knew you and Hannah would hit it off 😊 loved the tips and tricks because I think I’m going to try a market in October! Exciting but nerve wracking, so I will definitely be rewatching to make sure my table set up is cute, like yours.
Thank you very much for making this video. Really liked your table set up and stacking solutions: simple, uncluttered and effective (really liked also how you solved the cards issue: display unwrapped cards and put a basket with wrapped cards right next to it, ready to be given to the customer). In regards to the profits, I want to do these craft fairs in the future and decided to treat them as brand promotion events. You might get lower (or no) profits on the day, but you also might get some returning customers to your online shop out of those fairs.
Just made my first order and can't wait for it to get here to me in Alaska! Love your content and so glad to see your video today because I'm getting ready for my first event as well!
This is such a helpful video, thanks! Having my first stand in November with linocut printed cards, wooden pins and magnets and such things. Thank you so much for this video! I also have the idea of making some sort of "lottery", so where people can draw out for only 2,- or something and get a small thing - like a bookmark or something. Just an idea I need to see if it makes sense for the items I sell. I have seen this on some markets and it is always fun to draw something where you don't know what you get and the relatively low prize makes more people attend your stand where they maybe would not have bought something otherwise.
first time i see your video. i loved it. I'm having my first art market in the end of this month. thank you for sharing your experience. loved your video
Thank you so much this was very helpful. I am doing my first market very soon. I have just discovered your channel, I also do vlogs. I love them. So excited to watch more of your videos. 🥰🥰
Just find your video great tip for market i am doing my first market next weekend i little bit nervous but also exciting i am from Quebec and happy to find you i will sure continu to follow you 😊
Hello Katie. Im happy i found your video. I love how you show us sample or prepare for display set-up. I also found in your other videos about how you make stickers and cards beacause i love stickers very much. Love, watching from Philippines❤
So great meeting you!! Your display was so cute and love your biodegradable packagings- definitely something I'm going to phase into my own business! 🩷
I use eco bags from clearbags.ca for any of my clear sleeves and the chipboard is from uline! buying in bulk definitely helps where possible!! I actually am working on a video right now where I go through all my favourite art business products:)
@@maybekatie ah amazing I can’t wait for that!! Your bunting also caught my eye, I was thinking something similar for my table! Did the triangles already have the letters or did you need to iron them on yourself?
@@niveshajdin-rorabeck2421 I actually printed it and made it out of paper!! In this studio vlog from 2022 I show how I made it :))) ruclips.net/video/JDHrE9ZCqN8/видео.html
I wonder if you displayed the cards, then found something like what you put your book marks in next to it with them in their envelope, with a label on the slot they are stuck in, that way they can get them their self if they would rather not talk. :) Love your video! Thank you for sharing
I'm so sorry for my late reply on this, this comment slipped past me somehow! wind is so tricky with paper goods, I would say one of the best things you can do (if it's an option) is have a walled tent that's weighed down with sandbags or something of the like so that minimal wind is coming at you 😅 otherwise just wrapping anything you can in some kind of packaging to keep it safe in case it does blow away 🥺
Hi! Love your video, I was wondering where did you got that amazing interlocking display? I can't find it anywhere but its exactly what I was looking for!!
I have been looking for the gitters with the little metal connectors to display art, but where to buy them cheap and what is the specific name of them?
@@maybekatie Thank you!, also I want it to know where do you get the plastic you used to protect the prints on those grids how do you call them? I live in Colombia and I haven't able to get them
if you're on instagram, I share details about my upcoming events I'll be attending over there & make them easy to find in a highlight on the top of my page! ❤
Yeah it’s just a cadence thing. In UK English and parts of the US we tend to pitch down at the end of a sentence. The exception is asking questions, when our pitch goes up. So naturally a regional cadence that goes up at the end for a non-question sounds unusual to us. Neither way is correct, it’s just different speaking styles.

Hi! Love your video, I was wondering where did you got that amazing interlocking display? I can't find it anywhere but its exactly what I was looking for!!
do you mean the one with the risers with the little grooves in it?? it's technically a jewelry stand so maybe searching that would help you find it!
I have been looking for the gitters with the little metal connectors to display art, but where to buy them cheap and what is the specific name of them?
How did you get the dish rack to tilt?
I'd love to know where you got your greeting card shelving!
just on amazon I believe! it's meant to be a jewelry stand
I just randomly found you (so happy!!) which city are you?? I would love to visit your market when you have it :)
hello friend!! ❤ I am based in and typically do markets in the edmonton area 💖
Hey there, just wondering where you get your goods printed (stickers, cards, bookmarks...:).
I make almost all these things myself in my home studio, with the exception of vinyl stickers which come from Jukebox:)
the bundling thing is something im scared of, but it does seem more worth
I hear ya, I was scared of it at first too but in my opinion it really helps with sales & is worth it overall!
Good tips one question how can I search for the grid wall you used
if you search "grid shelves" lots of options for that type of thing should come up!
@@maybekatie Thank you!, also I want it to know where do you get the plastic you used to protect the prints on those grids how do you call them? I live in Colombia and I haven't able to get them
where do you get your prints and cards made?
I make them myself on my epson printer!
where did you get the wooden stands for the prints?
amazon I believe! they're called bamboo dish racks
Where do you buy your stickers? :)
Lately I've been ordering my vinyl stickers from Jukebox, and I make my paper sticker sheets at home with a silhouette machine!
If you would have warned us about the market I would have come
if you're on instagram, I share details about my upcoming events I'll be attending over there & make them easy to find in a highlight on the top of my page! ❤
Why does almost every statement sound like a question, with inflection at the end? That is so annoying that i can't even get through the video
What 😂 I think maybe it’s a characteristic of her Canadian “accent” cause I’m Canadian too and it sounds normal
Then don’t watch. Leaving a hateful comment accomplishes nothing.
