Thanks for a very concise run down of most important topics. Didn’t even consider having a power source for phone or square back up. Last time I did craft shows we only took cash but that’s not going to work now! Also hadn’t considered tablecloth clamps or tent weights. Happy to have the links! Thank you
Square must have been listening to you, cause they now offer a debit card and it seems to be checking cards as we go (could be an issue later!): )). New to the craft shows this year and it's definitely a huge learning curve- thank you for all of the information!
Some good information. Something I would add is to get a DEWALT ( or another brand) alarm system with a couple of door sensors and a motion detector and a camera. Mine runs off batteries or electricity and has I believe a 5G constant connection and is monitored. It is extremely reliable and reasonable. I have two systems. I have one system in my sisters crafts show trailer and one in my construction trailer. Works really well. My construction trailer had never been broken into... (Yet) I left work early one Saturday to stop by my sisters craft both and her trailer had been broken into on Friday evening and twice that Saturday. My trailer was parked in the police station parking lot across the street from the craft show and the alarm went off. I was contacted and told the company it should locked and to send police. An officer drove into the parking lot less than a minute after the police dispatch and spotted a man and woman by my open trailer door. By the time I got across the street the officer had both people in cuffs and was putting them in police cars. Evidently they told the officers that the truck and trailer belonged to them. After checking their I.D.’s and running my truck and trailer tags he arrested them. I ordered a system for my sisters trailer an hour later as her trailer did not have one at the time. She does now!!! Neither trailer has been broken into since. I believe: “Millis Construction” on RUclips has a video on the DEWALT alarm system.... Ron Sorry this was so long!! 😞 Ohh and my sister and I use Rockler Bandy Clamps to help hold down table cloths or plastic down to a table or tent leg as the bandy center portion locks down the table cloth or plastic down really good. The medium size clamp works is some cases but the large works better! 😊
No need for an alarm system. I have never needed this. I have done show with people that are selling hundreds and thousand dollar items and they don’t do that either
Thanks for the video I just found your channel. Question how did you come up with your logo I've been trying to find something for myself but no luck? Who did the art work?
I came up this the idea my self and if you go to my first videos you will see the logo I drew but I had a guy online from IG sketch83 to turn it into the what I actually wanted. Not cheap tho
Im interested in starting to turn pens, but I saw toward the beginning of the video you price yours at $15+tax. That price seems low to me for the effort, is that a competitive price for your area??
I sell them for $20 the slimline pens. But it’s all about how long it takes you to make them. That key of the materials are $5 but takes you 1 hour then yes you will have to charge more.
I have lost sales with Square and not being online. There was nothing I could do- they do not release the customer's information so I could not attempt to collect that way, either.
Also need cooler and food. A tall director's chair great to have.

Square is in your account automatically within 2 business days, where as PayPal limits how much you can transfer per month.
But you can spend the PayPal money immediately once you sell something if you needed to it isn’t in la la land.
You look like the British guy on the late night show!
I’m interested in tha displays
