It was your first show/outing. . It takes time to develop a sales strategy. And by the look of it you have some excellent products. Be positive and keep forging ahead. At some point you will start getting commission orders. All the best mate.
It's a tough business. Years ago I had an amazing handcrafted product that I tried selling at craft shows. I could never figure out why, getting such great comments from potential customers, I could not sell the darn things. The vendors who seemed to be making lots of sales, were the ones selling low ticket items, say $20 or less. Maybe you can come up with some ideas of products you can sell a lot of but for little money? Good luck!
Keep doing good things! Don’t let a low sales day bum you. Fall down 9 times, stand up 10 times.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Hope you continued on to make more sales in later fairs!
