These also only work when plugged in (no battery) . This is my personal experience, yours may differ. PS if you want to buy these make sure the App is available in your country (I had to download using an APK). Also the app for MAC is still in beta so expect bugs/glitches. The windows app doesn't exist yet. Samsung's dex is absolutely incredible with these on. If you don't have the same issues I did I could see these being incredibly useful, especially for gaming. The Screen Is fairly bright and very sharp when adjusted properly.

@@kitz927 that's probably because of the brightness of the screen you're looking at, might need to lower or higher your brightness depending on the circumstances
@legelf Nope, sadly not the issue I am always under half brightness or less on my S22+
@@legelf The lighting in the room is also important. Low light environment with your screen shining through it like a beacon doesn't do your eyes any good. Even at the lowest brightness my eyes get sore when I browse on my phone with the lights off. Same for my PC monitor, I have my desk lamp always on.

Awesome, few things to note! the device does get hot as well as your phone. Make sure you use it quite a bit and see if it strains your eyes, if not you're good to go

@@PhoneRepairGuru Bear in mind, a slightly off vision prescription (or not using corrective lenses when needed) can also cause that mix of symptoms. Basic eye-chart exams don't always tell the whole story. Also, if ordering prescription lenses for the Xreal glasses, you need a distance prescription, not reading. Hope you enjoy your Xreals.

I get that too. It's heavy enough to irritate your neck and head muscles. It also digs into your mastoid bone (the bone just behind your ear). The best cure is a folded up napkin between your ear bone and the hook of the glasses, and taking a break from time to time to not piss off your neck muscles.
Try using it in a dark room, the reason u may be getting sick when u dont with VR, is eith VR theres a sesl to block out light so ur eyes can focus on the internal screen, with this, ur eyes are trying to focus with the kight around u in correlation with the hewdset and depth of the image causing significantly more eye strain.

For Samsung you can use a touchpad while using dex but it would be cool if they had did that for other brands
They have products for that. The tapstrap 2 or upcoming tapxr have an air mouse mode that pairs excellently with these.
motion sickness is quite literally cured by having too much of it, in the VR community it's called growing your "vr" legs, but you just gotta get used to it.

Don't listen to this.. I have them and I only feel that way if I'm constantly walking around while using them and even then it only bothers me after 3+ hours.. These things are amazing, buy them! Also if u get the beam and use the smooth follow mode while walking u don't get motion sickness or anything at all

i use these all the time instead of my 40 inch monitors with glasses and now i don't need glasses while using these and they work brilliant, maybe you need to get prescription glasses to work for you

No one ever talks about how much strain these things have on the eyes. The cool factor is never worth the eye damage
Motion sickness is just a side effect, after sometime it normally goes away. I also had this experience with vr, and after a week or two of slowly working into playing longer and longer an building my endurance up I was able to completely get ride of this sickness.
The cyber sickness is from the windowed mode you have to put it in tacking mode and it should help
Then i see a contact lense for the eyes that are VR and you can just control with your brain 💀

Our generation didn't evolve to be AR compatible, we only support VR 😮😂😂
I've owned these for over a year I use them alot at night. For movies on flights, for my gaming away from home, and anytime I'm waiting somewhere. I honestly love them and if they broke would definitely buy them again. And I do believe these are high in price since I'm a cheap person but they are worth it in my opinion
Galaxy s23+ using dex is 🔥. I do not have the beam but do use with windows, I wish nebula was smooth.

I have both the nreal air and rokid air. I've been using the rokid air everyday / all day while at work for over 6 months now but can't do the same with the nreal air. It just stresses my eyes way too much. I haven't been able to have the prescription lens made yet. Sounds like you also need prescription lens on yours.

Mine was the exact opposite. It worked for PC, but not my phone (razer +) And it worked for my switch, but not my Xbox Series X.

get the xreal air 2 pro with the beam the beam is a remote and a android operating system unlike the old xreal and it can be modded with custom apps and it has a battery its a must try
With VR your eyes can look around. With these the screen is in one place and doesn't move*. It's also making you look up, which I find is eye straining.
*This is good and bad. It's good because the pixels are smaller and the screen is sharper. Its bad because the field of view is smaller.

These AR glasses are just temporary fun, later we will go back to traditional gaming on our devices
Nah, I use mine as a full 3 monitor replacement for my laptop. 3 virtual monitors as big as I want places in a 360 degree sphere around me. And I can see through the image perfectly for areas where the screens arent thus maintaining full awareness of my surroundings. I can sit in Starbucks and use my pc with a full 3 monitor productivity setup, and nobody can see what I'm doing.
If you are thinking these are just for gaming you are a moron. Even for gaming I can lay back in a recliner with these and game on my steam deck with not a single physical movement from anything but my thumbs. My neck and back have never felt better.

You need a helmet like mine. It gives you stats on the most popular shows (and the enemy in front of you) and can work as a VR set (mostly for hacking into drones, but you get the point).
I remember my first time using vr I got sick after 30 minutes and then I waited a day and used the vr for the entire next day. Let me tell you, I went through the biggest disconnect from reality after that.

The real reason ur eyes and brain hurt could be cuz u really need to focus ur eyes to a real close object which i dont think that happens in VR headset, i dont know what its like to wear the nreal but i have worn a vr headset.
He probably has an eye issue he isn't aware of. I use these for 8 hours a day 5 days a week for work. They are my primary monitor. Not been sick or had a headache even once.
