I made a half batch of her sahena and it came out exactly like hers..thank you. I make mine with only split peas and a lot of dasheen bush. So I have learnt another way of making sahena. I didnt have green mango for the chutney so I made tamarind instead. It was awesome!

Ria I made this curry mango last October for a small social distancing family curry dinner. Well let me tell you how it disappeared in a flash. I had never made it before and just blindly put the ingredients together.

Anything half ripe -more on the green side than ripe. We don’t have many choices here in NYC.
