I wash my cabinets with Murphy Oil Soap once a month and by washing them once a month, there’s no grease buildup and it doesn’t take long to clean them. I’ve used Murphy Oil soap on my cabinets for 33 years and my cabinets look great!
You keep a clean home just as I do, but you would be AMAZED at how filthy many people are. I wish I could add photos to this post because I could show you what my current rental looked like upon moving in. I have never moved into a place a filthy as this one was/is. I have been cleaning for months now, and I still have months of cleaning left to do. I have not even begun to tackle the outside yet.
Angela, I LOVE YOU! Finally, we have a content provider that demonstrates proper cleaning methods. Too many people want to use the next best product or easiest product on the market. As you mentioned, these products are too powerful. My brother and I have been trying to keep our aged parents in their home. Well, there are certain chores that get put aside for another day. Sadly, it is the kitchen cabinetry that gets neglected. I feel that the doors should be removed as the entire surface requires the pre-treatment. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
I did your method on my cabinets. Using the exact product and process. My cabinets had a lot of build up. The cutting board degreaser was not that successful. I had to scrub a lot. The drill buffing and murphys was good for clean cabinets. My cabinets are definitely better. But it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Thank you for the tips.
Angela, I swear you were just in my kitchen with me! I was standing there looking at my cabinets and wondering how to clean the grease off. I came and sat down at my PC and you popped up! My cabinets are so dirty and greasy. I tried cleaning the worst part ( above the stove) and the finish was coming off, so I stopped. I will try again using this method. I will come back and let everyone know the results. It seems like it is a very safe method. Love the channel already. I am subscribing. 🙂
It's actually possible that the built up grease was starting to eat through the finish and it wasn't the cleaning product. I've had one of those plug in oil air freshener things take the paint off a shelf that was too near that outlet. Prolonged exposed to certain oils can start to take off finishes.
You are wonderful; You start with personal safety equipment! Too many people ignore this and our young people are not taking enough care - we have gotten more careless through the generations
I just took your advice and used the Murphy Oil Soap and it worked great. Just a tip to be careful with any sun damaged areas not to scrub too hard just clean it gentle or it can be damaging. no more greasy kitchen cabinets and it even took make-up and hair dye splatters off thd wood in the bathroom.

In Puerto Rico, my grandparents had a separate concrete building that housed a sizable kitchen and a medium size room where they had a corn-shucking machine. No matter how hot the weather, that concrete kitchen building was always cool! The flooring was also concrete and my brother and I loved to sit on it to play jacks with our very young aunts and uncles...such great memories and I can still smell the foods prepared for very large family of 14 people.
I have just rented a House and its an old house with wooden kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I am new to this and have been wondering how I will clean these as they do have grease on them and I know water and a cleaning spray is not a solution. I just watched your video and you explained this very well and I am going to try this method and I hope this will clean the cabinets up. The House has beautiful laminated flooring and I may use the Murphys oil on the floor also. Thank You.
Redoing a place that was a rental for 20 years. I had to scrape the grease off and then follow your methods. Cleaned the ceilings and walls from your videos too. thanks!
@@AskAngelaBrownDedication or stupidity. Not sure yet 😂. I tried to hire someone but no takers so trying to work smarter not harder. You know it’s bad when you have to scrape grease off in strips before you can even use a drill attachment. Appreciate you!
Wish me luck. My parents hired me to clean and I've been saving the cabinets for last. It's about 10 years of greasy cabinets. I'm excited for before and after!
I finally cleaned my entire kitchen and it was really bad. I used the Awesome cleaner from the dollar store and it performed miracles. I saw the grease pool up and drip off and it was the easiest project ever. That stuff works at cutting through really thick grease.
@@AskAngelaBrown well, now that it’s completely clean, I’ll use the method wood for good or Murphy oil soap for maintenance. I’ll never let it get that bad again.
Thank you so much! I do a ton of cooking and my cabinets get wasted pretty quickly. I usually take the doors of and clean them and it just gets old. This way is way faster!
I am so grateful and fortunate to find out your channel. Really useful information about cleaning field that i needed as a house cleaner. I do love your way to convey the details explanation of cleaning.
@@AskAngelaBrown i am really appreciate your reply. I am indonesian, that passionate for sure in cleaning. And learning continuously, looking for information up to date about cleaning field.
I used a furniture polish remover on a rag. Took the gunk off of my antique dining set. I had a huge buildup on the knobs but wanted to maintain the patina. I gently wiped until I removed enough but not 100%.
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank you for the reply. My set does not have a polyurethane finish on it because it is too old to have it. I think kitchen cabinet buildup is different. I am going to try some of your methods for that.
Interesting question. Grease is often a part of the frying process which includes in many cases, heat, but whether it is effective by itself for removing it, I'm not so sure. If you give it a try, please let me know. I would be interested in what you use and how you use it. (i.e. hair dryer on a dry cabinet + a terry cloth (damp, or dry,) to wipe away grease, etc.)
Okay I'm going to try i light spray of awesome with the heat gun on low. I use it to shape PVC so I'll be careful around the kitchen. I'll let you know
Baby wipes, people. No gloves, no goggles, no power tools, no fumes, no mess. I don’t know what they put in them, but the stickiest of grease just wipes right off. I use them on my stainless range hood, too. No streaks, just sparkle! 👍
I agree, baby wipes all the way, even small spots on carpet or fabric furniture,...I've used many different brands, including generic ones and they all do a great job!
The most gentle method and cleaner are always recommended as the first go-to. Just be mindful of the strength of the cleaner you're using, don't leave it on too long, and clean off any residue so the finish isn't damaged. Thank you for watching. 😊
Great video! Very informative! One question: how can the mineral oil be fatal if swallowed, when it's a) food-grade, and b) recommended for use on cutting boards (which will, of course, mean that food cut on that cutting board will be in contact with the mineral oil, which means that you end up swallowing mineral oil when you eat that cut food)? I normally use mineral oil to treat my cutting boards, but if it *IS* toxic, maybe I should find some other way to condition them?
Hi Happy Bunny! Sorry, I didn’t mean to cause confusion. You’re right, in the video I was referring to the mineral oil as food grade. You are ok to use it on your cutting boards. Here is the definition of "food grade" www.csidesigns.com/blog/articles/what-is-food-grade and here is the Safety Data Sheet for the Mineral Oil used in this video. www.howardproducts.com/files/sds/HOW-113_Cutting-Board-Oil-1.pdf It is important to note that mineral oil is a liquid made from petroleum. While it is used for many ordinary household things and is safe for the intended purposes, using it in a manner inconsistent way (such as confusing it with other kitchen oils) could have fatal effects. The warning is to keep it in a locked area when not using it on your cabinets or cutting board and it is NOT intended for consumption.
@@AskAngelaBrown Oh, okay - that's a relief! Thanks for replying, and for the really useful links - I had recently oiled my cutting board with mineral oil, and was concerned that the food I'd chopped on it since then might have been (mildly) toxic!
Mineral oils are oils derived from crude oil as used in lubricants and have different types. Further processing of the paraffinic oils result in white oils referred to as paraffin oil. They are safe, however, ingestion of them is a means to promote bowel movement as in laxative effect.
@@AskAngelaBrown Hi there, I am dealing with gunk of three decades so I really needed this today! However, do I have to empty all my cabinets to use the mineral oil and Murphys Oil? Because they are toxic? Or so long as I don't open my cupboards, can I treat while they have stuff in them?
My rental kitchen cupboards are Oak. They are about 30 years old and need some love on top of a good clean... there is definitely sticky grease from previous tenants and some water damage. What do I do first?!
Hi Angela, love your video! Can you recommend a good cleaner for greasy stovetops? I’ve been using Bar Keeper Friend cleaner and don’t see any good results. Thanks in advance!
When America's Test Kitchen tested cleaners, they really liked the Method all purpose surface cleaner. I tried it on my greasy stove hood and it cleaned better and faster than my old kitchen cleaner.
For a greasy stovetop, you can use a degreaser or dish soap. Leaving it on (dwell time) shouldn't be a problem because the surface of the stovetop will have a gloss coat or an enamel on it. After you've scrubbed the surface and the stovetop is clean, rinse and wipe any soap or degreaser residue from the surface before cooking again. 👍
We have moved into a house that has many of years of grease on the cabinets and I really need to get rid of this extremely greasy cabinets and I am going to try to do the “easiest” process and take before and after pictures.
I was just looking at my cabinets. I’m getting my kitchen repainted next week and I’m going to be cleaning my cabinets. It’s going to look new. Thank you.
Great video and thank you! Knob cleaning: if you soak the cabinet knobs in water for cleaning, then the screw holes will retain the water as you reattach them to the cabinets. Water can leak out or rust from the inside screw of the knob. There must be a fix for this?
Thank you for your positive feedback! When cleaning cabinet knobs, it's important to be mindful of water getting into the screw holes and potentially causing issues like leaks or rust. One way to address this is to try using a damp cloth or sponge to clean the knobs instead of soaking them in water. Alternatively, if soaking is necessary, you can dry the screw holes thoroughly before reattaching the knobs to prevent any water from being trapped inside. A Q-tip might help with getting the water in the holes. Additionally, you may consider using waterproof sealants or lubricants on the screws to provide some extra protection against moisture. These precautions can help minimize the potential for water-related issues when cleaning and reattaching cabinet knobs. Hope this helps.

These cabinets were stained. For painted cabinets it depends on the paint base. For commercially manufactured cabinets yes it's fine. But if you painted them with a house paint it's best to use the Murphy Oil Soap on a less noticeable part of the cabinet to make sure it won't dissolve the paint base. When unsure, contact the manufacturer. Their number will be on the label on the bottle.
What else can I say? Very educational and informative videos! As always, more power and God bless! Love your efforts to inform and educate our community!
Good question! Murphy Oil Soap is designed for wood. But you can use it on painted cabinets. Use the Murphy Oil Soap on a less noticeable part of the cabinet to make sure it won't dissolve the paint base. When unsure, contact the manufacturer. Their number will be on the label on the bottle. It’s important to try it in an inconspicuous area first to make sure you don't have a special kind of incompatible paint and that it doesn't cause any damage.
A gentle cleaner and cleaning method should be tried first, to protect the finish of painted or stained cabinets. Don't leave the cleaner 'sitting' on the finish, clean off as you go and make sure to wipe off any residue. 👍🙂
I dont understand the mineral oil (food grade) is fatal if swallowed but you can apply it to a cutting board? Also, are you using a dry sponge wiping the oil off? Thank you.
Hi Deb, Great questions. Here is the meaning of "food grade" www.csidesigns.com/blog/articles/what-is-food-grade and here is the Safety Data Sheet for the Mineral Oil used in this video. www.howardproducts.com/files/sds/HOW-113_Cutting-Board-Oil-1.pdf it is important to note that mineral oil is a liquid made from petroleum. While it is used for many ordinary household things and is safe for the intended purposes, using it in a manner inconsistent way (such as confusing it with other kitchen oils) could have fatal effects. The warning is to keep it in a locked area when not using it on your cabinets or cutting board. It is NOT intended for consumption. The sponge can be damp - it absorbs grease better when it is damp, and it is more flexible and easier to use.
A matte finish may require a gentler touch & if you decide to try it, test it out in a small area where it would not be noticeable however, I would recommend referring to the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for your cabinets to be certain. Thank you. 😊
After wiping off mineral oil with a sponge, it is recommended to clean the surface again with warm soapy water to remove any residue. Use a mild dish soap and a clean sponge or cloth to gently scrub the area. Rinse the surface with clean water and then dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent any water spots or streaks from forming. This final step will ensure that the surface is clean and ready for use.
Funny I did mine the other day. I can’t find Murphy oil here in Australia, so I used a kitchen degreaser! I sprayed a little on the worst bits, but I used a little soapy water on my brush to scrub , and then wiped over it with a damp cloth when done. My oak cabinets came up like new. So impressed.
Yes, you can use this process on painted cabinets as long as they are sealed. To test if they are sealed, if you spray water on the cupboards and the water beads up and doesn't soak into the wood - the surface is sealed and it should be safe to use.
Going to get started tomorrow. Getting supplies ready now. My cabinets are wood with paint from only 10 years ago that is washing away in some spots. After the drill bit s cleaning I might need to sand them. And repaint. Should I still do step four?
How do you clean the white kitchen cabinets please? Glad I just found you channel. Moved into a brand new house and want to keep it clean from the start. Thank you!
Hi Angela! Thanks for all your great videos! Hard wood floor question- real, old wood floor... Not general clean, but cleaning stains from wood floor. Specifically - kitty poop that just misses the litter box, after picking up and cleaning floor of poop (sorry for the details) and some diarrhea there leaves a outline stain that has remained. What is the way to remove this type of stain? Thanks! 👍🏼
I really needed this! I have another kitchen question. I am helping a family member. Her kitchen stone floor is extremely dirty. She doesn’t do maintenance cleaning. All she has is a wet swiffer & that doesn’t work well (I tried 4 times). What can I use to clean it? It has had standing dog urine & feces on it.
When you say stone what do you mean? Is it a slate or travertine or a ceramic tile? Does it have a coating on it? Or, is it sealed stone? I need more information to know what to recommend.
Hi Angela, I appreciate you for sharing your pro cleaning tips with us. I am curious how you clean clean behind a tight toilet tank? I tried using the duster but I couldn't get behind it. Thank you.
Are they wood? If yes, are they sealed? If yes, the same method can be used. The mineral oil is clear, will remove the grease, and can be wiped right off. 👍
Great question. Green. Here is a paid link amzn.to/3MefuxO to the drill bit brushes. And if you hover over the pictures, one of them is a color chart that shows you which color to use on which surface. Note: each color of brush is a different stiffness. The key is to use the right color for the right surface so you don't scratch the surface you are scrubbing. Green is safe for kitchen cabinets. 👍
That's awesome to hear! I'll be rooting for you and wishing you success as you get started. :-) If you want more in-depth guidance, you can check out our training for cleaning business owners at savvycleaner.com/join
Your cabinets look beautiful! What most people don't consider when giving cleaning advice is that many people do not have the supplies or cannot afford those needed items. Not everyone has a drill, let alone the needed brush head and the goggles. ❤
I’m using the green medium bristle brush in the video. Here is a paid link to my Amazon store where you can read more about the brushes: www.amazon.com/shop/angelabrown/list/3KPHO4J4QTPLY?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d
My daughter and I clean apartments where people sometimes are evicted or they haven’t cleaned from the day they moved in until the day they leave. The thickness of the grease sometimes is overwhelming and sometimes the managers change out the cabinets that depends how many years clients have lived there. Just wondering if spending the money on Murphy’s oil soap is even worth purchasing for these type of conditions. The one good thing is the kitchens aren’t very large generally involve 6 upper cabinets 3 bottom cabinets, only 3 upper cabinets are generally the ones that are extremely greasy.
I found it interesting the food grade mineral oil is also toxic. A tip I saw on a home diy channel involved cleaning greasy hands (think mechanics) without harsh chemicals to dry them out. Like dissolves like so use cooking oil to get the tough grease off then finish with dish soap and hot water. Sounds like the same principle as using the mineral oil.
In the video I was referring to the mineral oil as food grade. Hi! What type of brush attachment for the drill do we use for this project? I have a kit of attachments, but I find that even the softest one could potentially scratch the wood. Thank you in advance!
Hi Jeniffer, thanks for watching. Here is the paid link amzn.to/3PbggvQ to the drill brushes I use for cleaning. When you hover over the picture a row of product pictures appear. One of the pictures in this lineup has a color-coded chart that explains which color brush (strength type) you use on which type of surface. I know it seems like you will scratch the cupboards - but the green one is designed specifically for this purpose.
Great vid thx. I believe Mineral Oil is non toxic, it is used on food cutting boards, on babies skin, and as a laxative. Mineral Spirits are a different matter ... maybe that's what you meant?
Thanks for adding to the larger conversation. Mineral oil is petroleum based and food grade so yes it is safe for cutting boards and not to be confused with cooking or other oils found in the kitchen.
Angela, so glad for this video! Question: My cabinets have an inlaid wood design on the doors where grease is pooled between each layer. I purchased the drill bits and a brush which clean the rest of the door great but not the tight inlays. How can I clean that? Thank you and I love your videos. Homeowner here💕
Are the layers also wood? Are they sealed wood? And is it all the same type of wood or are they different types of wood? The best option for something like this (assuming it's a custom piece, which suggests it could be pricy is to contact the manufacturer or store of the brand and ask if they have a custom or proprietary product they use for cleaning - and if using it will void the warranty. They often sell something that is in alignment with the products they sell and if something malfunctions they will honor the warranty. Does that make sense?
Great question. We are our own worst enemies. We are more critical of ourselves, our work and our homes than we are about others in most cases. We see all the flaws and imperfections of our own homes, when we tend to give a free pass to others helping us. Learn to give yourself a thumbs up for your efforts and you'll notice your appreciation of your own work will improve. 😀
i bought a kit of accesories for my drill but i am wondering is the brush attachment will scratch my wood cabinets? was your brush a special one for this job?
Hi Phyllis, Here is a paid link to the drill brushes amzn.to/3RODdFn - hover over the picture and you will see a chart that shows you which color to use on which surface. The different colors of bristles are different strengths and the green one is safe on kitchen cabinets.
Thanks for asking! I’d recommend using products specifically designed for quality furniture to protect the finish. Always best to test on a small area first!
1.) Wear protection, mask, glasses, and gloves 2.) Take off knobs, and soak in Dawn dish soap and water for 10+ minutes 3.) Take a foam paint “tester” brush (black foam applicator, wooden handle), and “paint” on food - grade mineral oil used to moisturize cutting boards. Store in an away / safe place. Wipe after 10 minutes with a cellulose sponge, which you will dispose of after cleaning the cabinets. 4.) Use Murphy’s oil soap Murphy’s oil soap in a spray bottle on cabinets, and a power drill + brush attachment combo. NOTE: Never use degreaser. It will dehydrate the wood, can take off paint, and ruin or remove the cabinet finish.
I love you video on how to get heavy grease off wooden cabinets. Tried it on MT grandpa's wooden kitchen cabinets & the results were amazing! Now I need to do my own kitchen cabinets, but after they are clean, I need to paint them. Do you use the Murphy's soap after the mineral oil & before you paint? Or do you just paint after wiping the mineral oil off? Please advise. Thank you. My kitchen cabinets are white

Great question, What are the walls made of? Is it drywall? Is there a backsplash? Is it stucko? Wood paneling? Wallpapered? Painted? The secret will be in knowing the surface type so we can pick the right solution for removing the soil. 😀
@@sophiacstaley Awesome. Is the paint on drywall? (like a regular wall of the house?) And is the paint shiny or dull? If you flip a drop of water on the wall does it change the color of the wall (like it soaked in?) Or does the drop of water bead up on the wall and stay the same color?

How to get rid of heavy grease from cabinets? It’s very easy…..don’t fry greasy foods or deep fry inside the house to begin with. After spending a fortune on a kitchen remodel, I bought an electric frypan and an electric deep fryer and simply use them outside on the back patio when cooking or frying messy foods……it’s genius, no messy cleanups on the stove or cabinets or strong odors in the kitchen.
If you are unsure about how it might affect your refaced cabinets, a safe and gentle way to clean is a couple drops of Dawn dish soap in warm water. Make sure not to get the cabinets too wet and wipe them well after cleaning with an absorbent cloth to get any residue. Thanks so much for joining us! 🤗

It's actually possible that the built up grease was starting to eat through the finish and it wasn't the cleaning product. I've had one of those plug in oil air freshener things take the paint off a shelf that was too near that outlet. Prolonged exposed to certain oils can start to take off finishes.

Food grade mineral oil is NOT toxic. Indeed, in ages past , it was used as a laxative.
Thank you for this clarification
@@AskAngelaBrown
Doesn’t the term Food grade mean not harmful if a little bit is ingested ?
Is the Product she uses different from the one we used to use? Can we use that mineral oil in place of her recommendation? I'm not understanding how the product she uses is food-grade but dangerous if ingested.

I left a comment about this too, but mineral oil can be taken as a laxative so I'm confused as to what is being used here.
Use the mineral oil first, wipe the gunk off then clean it with the Murphy Oil Soap as shown in this video.
Hi Angela, love your video! Can you recommend a good cleaner for greasy stovetops? I’ve been using Bar Keeper Friend cleaner and don’t see any good results. Thanks in advance!
oven cleaner with plastic wrap and let it sit
@@sandyreynolds4118 I think oven cleaner would be too strong.

Congratulations on the new paint job. It sounds like you're headed towards a beautiful new looking kitchen. 😍
Hope this helps.

is this recommended on stained or painted cabinets?
These cabinets were stained. For painted cabinets it depends on the paint base. For commercially manufactured cabinets yes it's fine. But if you painted them with a house paint it's best to use the Murphy Oil Soap on a less noticeable part of the cabinet to make sure it won't dissolve the paint base. When unsure, contact the manufacturer. Their number will be on the label on the bottle.
What else can I say? Very educational and informative videos! As always, more power and God bless! Love your efforts to inform and educate our community!
Wow, thank you! I appreciate your feedback. Merry Christmas. 😍🎄
Hi Angela my cabinets are painted did your process still be good on painted kitchen cabinet ?
Good question! Murphy Oil Soap is designed for wood. But you can use it on painted cabinets. Use the Murphy Oil Soap on a less noticeable part of the cabinet to make sure it won't dissolve the paint base. When unsure, contact the manufacturer. Their number will be on the label on the bottle. It’s important to try it in an inconspicuous area first to make sure you don't have a special kind of incompatible paint and that it doesn't cause any damage.

You can use the old-fashioned spray and wipe method. It takes longer and will require some elbow grease, but that way works as well. 👍

My cabinets are painted. Are your recommendations just for stained wood cabinets?
The sponge can be damp - it absorbs grease better when it is damp, and it is more flexible and easier to use.

Can these products and this method be used on matte finish wood cabinets as well?
A matte finish may require a gentler touch & if you decide to try it, test it out in a small area where it would not be noticeable however, I would recommend referring to the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for your cabinets to be certain. Thank you. 😊
Does it work as wel on white painted cabinets?? Thank you for all the great tips

Miss Angela after wiping off the mineral oil with a sponge what do you do. Wipe again with warm soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth?
Yay! I am so pleased to hear that you found a product and system that works. Thanks for sharing this. 👍
Lucky it did no damage and hopefully they’ll never get as bad again.
Can this be done if you’re cabinets are painted? Thanks do u have any tips on cleaning ovens and the vent for the stove
Yes, you can use this process on painted cabinets as long as they are sealed. To test if they are sealed, if you spray water on the cupboards and the water beads up and doesn't soak into the wood - the surface is sealed and it should be safe to use.
Thanks for the tips👍🏻

Going to get started tomorrow. Getting supplies ready now. My cabinets are wood with paint from only 10 years ago that is washing away in some spots. After the drill bit s cleaning I might need to sand them. And repaint. Should I still do step four?
If you've removed the grease, you may be able to paint them without sanding them down. Are you just painting over them or restaining them?

My daughter and I clean apartments where people sometimes are evicted or they haven’t cleaned from the day they moved in until the day they leave. The thickness of the grease sometimes is overwhelming and sometimes the managers change out the cabinets that depends how many years clients have lived there. Just wondering if spending the money on Murphy’s oil soap is even worth purchasing for these type of conditions. The one good thing is the kitchens aren’t very large generally involve 6 upper cabinets 3 bottom cabinets, only 3 upper cabinets are generally the ones that are extremely greasy.
Marie, Do you know what material the cabinets are made of?
@@AskAngelaBrown I think mostly pressed wood as I am sure it’s not real hardwood. I’m sorry I just saw this…
I found it interesting the food grade mineral oil is also toxic. A tip I saw on a home diy channel involved cleaning greasy hands (think mechanics) without harsh chemicals to dry them out. Like dissolves like so use cooking oil to get the tough grease off then finish with dish soap and hot water. Sounds like the same principle as using the mineral oil.

Question:
My cabinets have an inlaid wood design on the doors where grease is pooled between each layer.

Can you use this product on quality furniture?
Thanks for asking! I’d recommend using products specifically designed for quality furniture to protect the finish. Always best to test on a small area first!
1.) Wear protection, mask, glasses, and gloves
2.) Take off knobs, and soak in Dawn dish soap and water for 10+ minutes
3.) Take a foam paint “tester” brush (black foam applicator, wooden handle), and “paint” on food - grade mineral oil used to moisturize cutting boards.

Hi! What about painted kitchen cabinets???
Hi. Depending on the finish- painted cabinets may require gentle cleaning to protect them. You can test clean an area that is less noticeable to see how it goes before you clean all of them. Thank you for being here! 😊
What can I do about the grease on the textured walls by the stove?
Great question, What are the walls made of? Is it drywall? Is there a backsplash? Is it stucko? Wood paneling? Wallpapered? Painted? The secret will be in knowing the surface type so we can pick the right solution for removing the soil. 😀
@@AskAngelaBrown it's painted. Thank you for responding
@@AskAngelaBrown shiny paint on drywall
Can you please answer this question? @@AskAngelaBrown
Regarding the Mineral Oil -- if it's food grade & safe to use on wood cutting boards, how is it also poisonous/fatal if swallowed?
Sorry, I didn’t mean to cause confusion. In the video I was referring to the mineral oil as food grade.
Thanks for taking the time to share your input, tips and for watching the video, I appreciate it!
I agree! I also don't cook greasy foods much, but if I'm going to outside his best
How do you do this on refaced cabinets? Is anything different?
If you are unsure about how it might affect your refaced cabinets, a safe and gentle way to clean is a couple drops of Dawn dish soap in warm water. Make sure not to get the cabinets too wet and wipe them well after cleaning with an absorbent cloth to get any residue. Thanks so much for joining us! 🤗
