Angela, I didn't know about the Murphy oil soap to clean my cupboards that look just like the ones you showed cleaning,,,same style and colora. . I used Lysol kitchen cleaner and the second time I prayed it on to clean the silverware drawer, the shinny finish turned dull and seemed to roll off when I used a dry towel to wipe off the Lysol. Now I can see where the finish is gone period and looks bad. What can I do to bring back the shine and luster. I think the whole kitchen cupboards have lost their luster and really looks dated now. Help.
Hi Angela. Does this work on heavy grime over the vented microwave range hood? Is it a different process?
I've used on my kitchen cabinets the Murphy's Oil Soap that's designed to mix with water, & I love it!!! :)
Can I use the fastest method on my white cabinets?
Angela. How much should we charge for a cleaning like that? Thanks
Never have I ever ... had a RUclipsr give the lowdown on ingredients, hazards, protection, and more. How incredible is that! Kudos to you, Angela, for keeping us safe.
Thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate it!
@@AskAngelaBrown That's the first thing I thought, "WOW, this lady is very thorough".
I have a job of trying to clean up a rental unit for the owner, her previous tenant had a "BUNCH" of cats, when she got sick and went in the hospital for awhile. The owner had to gather them up and take them to the humane society, but being left unattended the damage was already done. There is cat feces all over the wood floors and the smell is very bad, there is also fly feces all over the place especially the ceilings/lights/fans. The owner wants it cleaned it up, so she can get a new tenant in there as soon as possible. I'm the handyman/maintenance guy, not a cleaner.
Do you have any solutions to combat this nasty/horrible situation? Please help...
Thank you.
I must second @charleadavis. I've never seen a RUclips presenter go into such clear, helpful instructions. You just gained a fan. Looking forward to seeing more. Thank you.
My feelings also, a true professional!
I love how this lady gets right to the point and doesn’t play around ✊🏽
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate you.
Agree!
I tried the oil and Murphy oil my cabinets did not get clean, the oil splatter still on the surfaces. When I sprayed the Murphy oil and clean it is not smooth but it looks like splashed/spotted.
She packs so much knowledge into just a few seconds.
@@rachelpuckles560 amen to that!
I cleaned homes for over 25 year. I was the lone cleaner and ran my mini cleaning business. I wish l had your great tips cause l worked hard and did a good job, but not smart. As l got older my hands, knees and back could no longer do the good job l once did. I'm so impressed with you! l've subscribed, you so deserve 10 thumbs up but could only give one. I thank you for caring, giving your advise to others in the business.
LOL. Thanks for the 10 thumbs up. You just made my day. 🙏
I wish I had had you! Mine is done in 3 hours, and my house is smaller than the one I had. I pay her well, but she misses everything!
She does fold towels and sheets well! Lol!
@kimmyb908 I'm 15 years in! Also solo... Talk to me about superrrr greasy cabinets (above the stovetop) I mean, it's thick!!
And they have dark brown shaker cabinets. I can actually see where previous attempts have taken off the brown stain...I don't want to damage these cabinets!
Even diluted Dawn with a microfiber seemed to cause discoloration with my first attempt, on a different area, around the handle. It was hardly noticeable, but now I'm legit afraid.
I got some Sal's Suds to try again... And I'll grab some Murphy's...
Wanted to know if you had any additional thoughts from personal experience, being 25 years in business?
More than cleaning expert..you are like a really good motivator when you speak so clearly and psychiatrist for cleaning issues...
LOL. Thanks. It turns out there is SO MUCH MORE to cleaning than just cleaning. Especially if you run a team of cleaners. I appreciate your kind words. :-)
@@AskAngelaBrown oh no thank you.. for helping me out .. I have improve so much
I really like that you give the safety data and recommend gloves and goggles. A few years ago I was cleaning the floor with Murphy's oil soap and unknowingly had the sprayer backwards and sprayed it in my eyes the product stings like what I couldn't believe and I was instantly blinded. After groping my way past the dog and down the hallway to the bathroom sink, flushed my eyes under the faucet until I was finally able to squint enough find the number on the label and call their Poison Control Center. I still remember the lady's voice that answered the phone because she was terrific. She told me just keep rinsing I think for 20 or 30 minutes and then my eyes would be alright. It was extremely extremely painful but my eyes are perfectly fine now and I appreciate Murphy's Oil Soap and their hotline!
Oh no, what a sad story. Thanks for sharing. The key with using any chemical besides water is to use with caution. We say you can never be too safe. I am so glad you are okay now, and that you had such a great experience with their poison control department. Hats off to you for knowing how to handle that unfortunate situation.
@@AskAngelaBrown and much appreciation to Murphy's Oil Soap for having someone there to answer the hotline. I remember her telling me there was nothing in Murphy's that would cause permanent damage. That is always good news- thank you for your channel and great information
The poison control centre should have recommended constant washing with a saline solution. The same solution as natural tears. 1 teaspoon salt for 500ml of lukewarm water. I’m glad your eyes are okay.
@@TheCurlyclub thank you for that information about the saline solution!
That sounds like what happened to me with Dr Bronners castile soap. The most excruciating substance I ever got in my eye
My mother used to use the concentrated murphys (diluted) on all her polished wooden surfaces in the house. Now since she's passed and I started my own eco friendly cleaning business, I use it too and the smell reminds me of her. Thank you for your videos, they are so helpful and informative 😊
Sorry for your loss! But it makes me happy to know that you have continued your mom's cleaning skills in your business. Wishing you the best and continued success in your business.
That's a beautiful thought. bless you and your mom...
The smell is always a welcome one!
Hi Angela! Every window in my house has faux wood blinds, which I am cleaning one room a day (thanks to your other amazing video "How to Clean Your Blinds"). I also started the kitchen cabinets yesterday using Liquid Gold and a cloth. It's working okay, but my husband said it smells like motor oil in the house now. Oh no! So, I will switch to Murphy's. Your videos are exceptional. I am a retired teacher and your skills for explaining, teaching, helping others are top notch. You are a natural teacher who shares extremely useful information. Thanks for all that you do! :)
Oh no....motor oil smell, not good! Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it. 😊
I like the smell of Liquid Gold, it had a distinct smell, but it’s certainly not like the scent of motor oil.
@@richardstadler5287I was thinking the same thing.
A true professional cleaner with a lot of experience is a joy to learn from. Thanks for your videos they are all awesome.
Thanks for watching!
Wow. This is one of the most useful, thorough, and well put-together "how-to" videos I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I have owned MOS for years and NEVER had a clue how to use it!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much for your wonderful videos.
You are so welcome! Happy to help and thank you for watching the video!
I have used Murphy's Oil for so long that I remember when it was sold as a paste (which is no longer sold, unfortunately). This is one of the best videos that I have seen on housecleaning tips. Thanks for your time, expertise and thorough explanations.
Thank you so much for your kinds words!
A paste would have been great!
I SMELLED THIS COMMENT! 😂
Thank you for making this video, I love Murphy's oil. I cleaned a farm house with it, it had about 35 years of grime built up, it was satisfied to see the true beauty of the cherry wood. Thank you again.
@Adriana I realize your post here is two years old now (today in 11/24/21.) But I just had to say thank you for the GREAT testament to Murphy's Oil Soap! It's been a standby for generations in my family (I learned it from my Grandma in the 1970's when I was a kid.) Isn't it great to take pride and joy in a job well done with the right tools?! @Angela Brown Cleaning - thanks for the drill brush idea! I'm going to count the panels in my kitchen + 3 baths to justify the purchase of brushes for my home!
Thank you so much for sharing the drill info! I'm disabled and my health and energy are further on the decline, so as I look months ahead in preparation to maybe move to a new apartment, I'm noticing how much maintenance cleaning I've let fall by the wayside in recent months. Even though my apartment kitchen has far fewer than 79 panels, I have been dreading the 8 hours of scrubbing I would estimate that it would take me at my current pace. But this has made it seem much more possible!!! Thank you!
You're very welcome! I'm really glad I could help! Remember, taking things step by step and finding tools to make tasks easier can truly change the game
What is the thing on end of drill u use on cabinets with the spray cleaner
This is absolutely game changing. For reference, I painted our wood kitchen cabinets a creamy white by hand a few years ago with Benjamin Moore Aura paint. Loved how they turned out but had no clue how to clean them and was fearful of ruining my many hours of hard work and expensive paint. Using Angela’s second method made them beautiful again without damaging the paint finish. I used the white (softest) brush overall and the small yellow brush in the grooves. The Murphy’s premixed bottles smell incredible. Smells so much better than the concentrate, which is a wonderful product but the smell isn’t nearly as good. I’m going to get so much use out of this brush set and cleaner. Thank you! 🙏
Thanks Teri!
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing your cleaning experience.
I appreciate your comment a lot
Yes, thank you. I was wondering about PAINTED SURFACES.
Your sight is TOTALLY AWESOME! Thank you so much for your very professional information.
Wow! I like that you include safety precautions. Love this & gotta try for myself. TFS
Yes, safety precautions are very important. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Let me know how it works for you. 🤗
Wow!! Thank you so much! I used the Murphy oil spray and yellow cleaning brush on my drill and cleaned all the cabinets above my stove and the vent hood, that were so nasty and gross, it took me about 20 min and they are good as new! I can't thank you enough for your tips. Your clients are so lucky to have you, as are all of us for seeing your tips! ❤
Love this! Thank you for sharing your cleaning experince, I appreciate it! So glad to get feedback and to know that the video was helpful. 😊
Angela, I love your videos. You are to the point and serious about your business and not afraid of assisting homeowners who have to clean for themselves. As I’m getting older your teaching me to clean smart!
Hooray! I love hearing things like this. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to drop me a line. Welcome to the channel. 😍
This is so great! I have lived in a number of apartments with icky, sticky and greasy cabinets. I always work so hard to get the cabinets sort of clean!
Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching the video. 🙂
You had me at, " You don't need to rinse."
Hahaha...thanks for watching. 😊
[[OK
Me too! 😀
Didn’t know the power of this Murphy Oil Soap. Had it in the house for many years, but I thought I have to rinse it off well, several times, so I stopped using it. Now, my yucky kitchen wood panels will get their long deserved shine.
I just discover your channel today. Thank you.
Keep me posted on how cleaning your kitchen cabinets turns out.
Literally the most informative channel on cleaning and cleaning products. Angela your amazing! You take the anxiety out if tough cleaning.
Oh wow...thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
When I was a young bride back in the day, I had a house with hardwood floors. Murphy oil soap kept them clean and sweet smelling😁
That''s great to know. It does smell nice. Thanks for sharing!
Angela Brown, you are a God sent Angel... seriously. You’ve helped me so much with my pregnancy “nesting”. Congratulations on your new arrival. I'm super excited for you. Thanks also for your kind words and for taking the time out of your busy schedule to drop me a line. :-)
Have used this for years to clean my wooden cabinets. Now that I've watched your video, I will be sure to clean the edges better and also use the white terry cloths to polish. Thanks.
You're welcome, glad the video was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I have been using Murphy 's Oil for YEARS. For everything wood: floors, cabinets, and furniture. Of course I use little water and wipe dry.
Thanks for posting.
OMG I APPLIED YOUR TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS VIDEO AND MY CABINET CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL. NO ONE BELIEVED THAT I DID IT MY SELF. THE IS ONE OF THE BEST TUTORIALS EVER. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR EXPERTISE. YOU'RE THE BEST. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I WISH I TOOK A BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE.

@@AskAngelaBrown I WILL BEING USING MURPHY'S OIL FROM NOW ON. I NEVER USED IT BEFORE. NOW I'M IN LOVE WITH IT. THANKS SO MUCH!!
I really enjoy this woman training. She gets straight to the point.❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and support. I appreciate you being here. 🙏
Absolutely love that I can find answers to any cleaning questions that I have on your channel, Angela! Today, I learned how to correctly tackle the big job of cleaning my wood kitchen cupboards - but you also helped me avoid purchasing the wrong thing (I need the Murphy oil spray vs the concentrate)! Just ordered some - & the drill brushes too! Thank you for your well-done presentations!
I'm so glad! You're welcome!
I really like how you explain each steps to cleaning and how you demostrate in your videos.
Thank you! I try my best to demonstrate. Thanks for watching. 😊
I've been wanting to try this method, but was a bit worried it wouldn't work on my greasy cabinets. I enlisted the help of my husband and truly, our cabinets look great. Thank you Angela for showing us a method that works!
You're so welcome! Glad it worked for you!😊
My cabinets were icky sticky greasy, and I was able to clean them. I’m frankly afraid to look on the TOPS of them! Is the process the same on the tops? By the way, I’m liking not only your cleaning expertise and business expertise, but also the quality in your voice that assures me that you know what you’re talking about!
What a lovely thing to say. Thank you. For the tops of the cabinets you don't need to use a drill brush and if you fry foods, cook bacon or smoke in the house you will most likely have some black tar up there. Standing on a step ladder that allows you to reach the top you can use some paper towels and Krud Krutter Original Degreaser/Cleaner Concentrate amzn.to/31srwvp to cut through the grease and icky stuff we usually find up there and then toss out the paper towels when you're done. You don't want that stuff going through the wash on a cloth. LOL. :-) Let me know how it goes. :-)
Angela, I ve used a hand held vacuum for the open area above cabinets. Then proceeded to wipe off with Greased Lighting.
I really appreciate this video. I happened upon it, and watched it because I have a gross cabinet situation. Given the airflow in my kitchen, and how much I cook, I definitely need to clean them.
She was informative on the product, and also how to do it. On top of that, I didn't think there was much "filler" content. I hate it when videos drone on and on with stuff that doesn't acutally help. Thank you very much, Angela Brown. I am motivated to clean my kitchen!!! (note: I may still procrastinate lol)
Thank you for stumbling upon my video and appreciating it! With your kitchen's airflow and cooking frequency, it's crucial to clean those cabinets, and I'm glad I could offer informative guidance on both the product and the cleaning process without unnecessary filler content. Your positive feedback, truly motivates me. It is ok if you procrastinate a bit (we all do!), I'm here to support and encourage you when you're ready to tackle the kitchen cleaning. Keep up the great work, and remember, I'm just a message away if you need further assistance. Happy cleaning, and thank you for being a part of our community! 😄🎉
I absolutely love your professional, detailed approach! Thank you so much for all the knowledge you share.
Thank you so much for writing such a kind compliment, I appreciate it! ❤️
I am going to get these brushes, have the Murphys Oil soap and clean my cabinets. Interring history of Murphys Oil soap, thanks for the education.
Thank you for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! I hope that you enjoy the brushes as much as I do.
I discovered murphy's oil soap a year ago when i needed to clean a condo i am renting out. My mom loved it so she bought herself a bottle. We actually also used it for the greasy kitchen range hood metal pieces which was sticky with icky greasy and came right off too. So this is such a discovery that cleaning day.
This is awesome! Glad you both liked it...thanks for sharing!! 😊
Mineral oil is pure genius for cutting the grease. Happened to have some for my cutting boards so gave it a try. So easy; so effective. I’ve subscribed to your channel!
Yay! Thank you so much for subscribing. 😊
You have a way of simplifying my most dreaded tasks into perfect bite sized pieces!
Aww....thank you!
👍🏼 agreed
I love how you said that ‘crap’ on the cabinets! So true. And thanks for this as I have a cabinet cleaning job tomorrow and needed some tips
You are so welcome! Glad the video was helpful, thanks for watching!
Very impressed with your thorough, clearly explained process. My task is with a very heavily coated dusty/greasy kitchen, dining room area which I doubt has been cleaned in 5 -6 years. Far far worse than what is shown here but I'll use the Murphy soap & I have a rotary cleaning tool [Dremel] which will help with the scrubbing. Thanks for this!
You're welcome! Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
I have one client with terribly greasy cabinet doors. I will be trying this. Good luck to me and thank you ahead of time for the suggestion.
Glad to be helpful! Good luck!
Hi Angela, I love all your product reviews. I’ve used this oil soap for wood floors. I’ve been looking for a cabinet cleaner so this video is perfect timing! Thank you!!
Awesome timing! You’ll have to let me know how the cabinets turn out. ❤️
PROFESSIONAL! WOW, I needed to be inspired. Thank you.
Dont use an Eraser Sponge on plastic like a toilet seat or enamel finished appliances like a refrigerator. They scratch!
@monkeygirl000 *Dont use a green scotch sponge on glass. Just sayin' they are impregnated with metal.*
I love what the melamine sponges do. They are amazing. Just learned not to use it on my beloved Toto toilet seat, swirl marks!
I was about to ask about a much used toaster oven. Like you, it cant hurt because it is pretty grungy. Anything would be better.
I think true porcelain coating would not be harmed? Could the enamel paint I messed up on my fridge have been softened by oils or a cleaner like 409? Before I take the fridge to the curb, I am going to experiment with the sponges.
Have they ever damaged painted wood surfaces?
@Sunny girl 87 I learned that the hard way. I ruined my toilet seat with an eraser sponge.
I have used Murphy's oilsoap on wood and love it.
@@shirleyens7707 Thank you. People argued with me about it. But now that I think about it, I jave a plastic seat. Some are coated fiber board and may not scratch?
Those eraser sponges will permanently etch glass like windows. It turns from a clear to a frosted white in seconds and there is no going back. So I’m not surprised it ruins softer items like plastic or resins. Always read those directions and precautions it’s worth the time.
@@boopeep9670 I had no idea they are gritty enough to damage glass? That means they could wear down enamel or glaze finishes, eventually?
I love using Murphy’s Oil soap. I works and not only do you end up with clean wood the house smells so fresh and clean.
My mother used Murphy’s Oil Soap and I use it! Great cleaning and takes care of the wood. And I like the scent.
Glad to hear that!
I've been using vinegar and a small amount of Dawn dish soap for my deep cleaning kitchen cupboards
Thanks for sharing!
Murphy’s Oil soap spray was a revelation on my wooden cabinets!! But unfortunately if it strays onto the walls surrounding your cabinets, and you try to paint those walls, I discovered that the paint doesn’t really adhere/stick properly, and peels right off!!! It came as QUITE a surprise!!! But overall LOVE your RUclipss, they’ve taught me so much!!! THANK YOU ANGELA BROWN!!!
Thank you so much for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
Those drill brushes are BRILLIANT. I've been using Murphy's Oil Soap for decades so I know the job it can do, but I had no idea these brushes and pads existed. Just bought a set and I'm going to be using them everywhere. Thanks so much for this video!
LOL. Once you have them you can't go back. They are truly a game changer. Let me know how you like them.
Murphy Oil soap using water really did got rid of the icky sticky gunks in our kitchen cabinets... Thanks a lot for heads up!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing your cleaning experience with the product.
I've been using Murphy's on my wood floors, etc., for over 50 years and my mother used it before me. I love it! From the first time I hired a cleaner I insisted nothing else be used on my floors and cabinets, and to chase fingerprints on my interior and exterior doors. I hadn't seen the spray before, but I will definitely check it out. Thanks!
Let me know how you like the spray. I appreciate you dropping me a line. :-)
I have started cleaning my kitchen cabinets. Did not know about Oxo cleaning brushes or the brush for a drill. Wow! Game changer.
Thanks.
Right?! Thanks for dropping me a line. I appreciate you. :-)
I absolutely LLLOVE Murphy's oil soap! I've it for years, and my mother's used on every with finished wood. Work really well smells terrific..
I mixe the "regular" in a gallon jug then poured into a spray bottle. Nice and easy peasy.
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
This video and the other one describing how to use Murphy’s oil soap are very interesting thanks
Glad it was helpful! I appreciate the compliment : )
Wow!!! I’m going to use this product. I have owned it in the past. I will use it here in Dallas when I move out in January to sell my house. I will also use it again when I move into my house in Glendale, Arizona that I have been renting for six years. My cabinets here are a very dark wood. My cabinets there are maple. Thank you so very much. I just found your channel last night. New subscriber here.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Let us know how your cleaning turns out. And welcome to the channel...thanks for subscribing, I appreciate it!
Yes, I have used the Murphy soap when we cleaned the pews in the church. Although it smells good, I did not think it cleaned well, because it left an icky feeling behind. This was years ago. Maybe we should have diluted it better, or use a cloth later and dry it off. After your great explanation, I will try it again in my kitchen. Thank you.

As a safety professional I’m so thrilled to see you go through the hazards! I started watching to just know how to clean my cabinets
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and for commenting, I appreciate it.
Yes. I have used it and love it. Have not used the drill on the cupboards yet. I used it everywhere even for the dusting.
What product do you recommend for cleaning painted white kitchen cabinets? It the Murphy’s oil soap okay? Thank you for the tip about avoiding the eraser sponges - I didn’t realize they were abrasive.
I just posted about this, hope you find it helpful
Murphys oil soap is designed for wood. But you can use it on painted cabinets. Just try it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure you don't have a special kind of incompatible paint and that it doesn't cause any damage.
I have been trying to figure out the best way to clean my wooden cupboards & thanks to u I can now go ahead & do it. Appreciate ur advice. 👍🏼
Yes, this is a great method. Let me know how it works out for you.
I’ve been staring at my icky, sticky cabinets for a year now and wasn’t sure where and how to start, but thanks to your great tutorial I think I can do it! I was planning to hire someone. I give you 10 thumbs up too!!!
Also does the product work on cleaning the outside of microwave?
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement and support. This is not the product I would use on the outside of a microwave (if it's stainless steel or plastic). While it is a soap and an oil soap, your best bet would be to treat the outside of the microwave with something designed for that type of surface and the type of soil you are drying to remove. Does that make sense?
Hooray! Thank you so much. I have not received 10 thumbs up in a VERY long time. You just made my weekend. 😊
THANK YOU!!!! I have been putting off cleaning my kitchen cabinets because it always took soooooo long to complete. I have a cordless drill & am truly looking forward to this new cleaning adventure!
You're welcome! And thank you for watching the video. Happy cleaning!🙂
when you dilute use distilled water it has no minerals and wont leave residue
Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
I love watching, and re-watching, your videos. Murphys Oil Soap is great for cabinets and floors and sometimes I will clean my wooden furniture with it, just as a matter of principle, for deep cleans. My grandparent’s 125 year old bed and dresser have held up great with regular dusting and cleaning with Murphys Oil Soap. Keep the great videos coming! They are so informative.
This is awesome. Thanks for the tip and for letting me know how you use Murphy's. I love hearing stories like this. 👏👏👏
I just bought my first house and the cabinets are absolutely gross! I will eventually sand and repaint them, but for now I just want them clean. Thank you so much for this extensively informational video! I know they'll look almost new after I do this. I was so scared of what product(s) to use on them so I don't ruin them. You absolutely made my day and I know my move-in cleaning will be even better thanks to this!
You're welcome, so glad the video was helpful! Thank you so much for watching the video. Happy cleaning...you got this!
Hi Angela. My name is Willette. I have the
icky-sticky-greasy-gunk on my cabinets in the kitchen. My bathroom is a small clean up area. I also have the brushes, the Murphy's Oil Soap cleaner still in the box from Amazon... It sounds like I'm in a 12 step program. I'm not, but I should be. Thanks for this. I watched this a few months back and ordered the products. Now, I need to charge my drill battery and "Git Her Done"... 👍✅
I love your channel. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous 🆕 Year!!! (Dec. 2021).
Hi Willette, Thank you so much for watching the show. I can’t wait to hear how the cleaning project went with the drill brush and Murphy Oil Soap.
Thank you so much for this video Angela i was getting so frustrated on the kitchen cupboards when i clean clients homes. I would use degreaser on all types of cupboards than i noticed when the cupboards were made of cherrywood or expensive wood it would leave this white film stain. I felt so embarrassed and bad about not knowing how to bring back the shine on the cupboards. Thank you so much for this video i will go out and these products.
You are so welcome, glad it was helpful! We all go thur this at some point or another, so you are not alone. Wishing you lots of continued success!!
I am watching this video at 11.00 p.m and I want to go down and
start washing my cabinets above and close to my stove. Your videos are very motivating.
LOL. Thanks. The cabinets will still be there in the morning. No need to clean at midnight. :-)
I am so grateful for your videos. They are amazing!. You are smarter and more clever than all scientists, professional people, and business people out there. If there is another version of millions...s like, I would love to give it to you.
Oh wow, thank you so much. You just made my day. 😍
I love the Murphy Soap products. I am ready to start again on my cabinets, bath and kitchen. I am planning on buying the brush attachment for our drill. My husband was standing here as I raved about the brush. He may have ordered it before I got a chance to order it. I will find out soon! I am now addicted to your videos!!
I'm so glad to hear that. Let me know how you both like it!
Very professional. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing your wisdom on this matter.
Thank you so much Jose! 😊
We have 52 cabinets in our kitchen. Needless to say, I bought those brushes before the video was over. lol If this works, you saved my life!! Thank you so much for this tip!!!!
@@AskAngelaBrown 👍👍👍
Audrey M if you have 52 cabinets you can afford to hire HER to do it
@For, for real!
I think she meant 52 face fronts lol

Your videos are among the best on youtube. Thank you for answering so many of my questions so quickly and clearly.
Thanks for watching and for taking the time to drop by and share a few minutes with me today. :-)
OH MAN! My daughter hates cleaning, but loves power tools. Im getting those brushes for her Christmas Present. This is an awesome video. Very thorough and concise. I appreciate the MSDS info as well. I am subscribed!
Thank you for mentioning that the oil soap does not degrade over time! I have some that's been around a while and wondered exactly that. My cabinets due for cleaning right now.

I used Murphy's Oil on my cabinets and it made a HUGE difference. I learned about Murphy's from my neighbor who was a cleaning lady. Great product.
Oh this is wonderful news. Thanks for sharing. It is a fantastic product for cabinets.
I looooove the smell of Murphy’s oil soap. If they bottled this in a fragrance I’d wear it. 😘
Hahaha...it does smell nice. Thanks for watching the video.🙂
Murphy's oil soap is citronella oil and chamomile. The oils in the soap change the "tone" of the scent. When it had lanolin the scent was a bit differen, but it worked better.
Do we use the same for painted cabinets?
Me too reminds me of home. Growing up. My grandmother used to use pledge oil soap on her floors that smelled even better but they don't sell it anymore
@@dj912sent9 I have the same question.
So glad I came across this video. I have a little arthritis in my hands so the drill is such a great idea.
The drill brush is a game changer. It also reduces shoulder and elbow movement. Keep me posted on how you like it, I'd love to hear your experience. :-)
I love Murphy’s Oil Soap. I love it to clean out drawers, spot clean walls, cabinets, walls, doors and the list goes on. Been using it for over 50 years. Didn’t live far from their plant in Medina Ohio. But, I’m sorry, Murphy’s is NOT a grease cutter. I’m sure it would eventually clean the icky, but that’s a lot of scrubbing! If cabinets are that bad, it’s time to bing our ammonia! Boom, you’re done with one wipe. Then go over with Murphy’s for that great fragrance and shine.
Thank you so much for sharing this!! 🤗
My cupboards are very old. I tried Murphy's which left them sticky. So I sprayed Windex with ammonia on them, used a non scratching sponge, went over with damp Terry type towel and dried with another towel. Took off loads of dirt. I don't know if this would wreck finish on newer cupboards. How do you do yours?
I have used Murphy s oil soap before, but I had a nearly full bottle go rancid after being stored in the garage so this time I’ll just go with the spray. The drill brush is genius, thanks.
Thanks for your feedback. 🙂
I can't thank you enough for all of your tips! Especially the drill brushes! I have a big kitchen and we cook a lot so the cabinet cleaning will now be much easier, and not as time consuming, thanks 👍 🙂
You're welcome! And thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
I use Murphy Soap I live close to an airport and the dirt on my wood floors is awful. It cut through it with some
elbow grease. Great video. Learned alot. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate your tips. Does living near the airport make you house more dusty than normal or is it residue from jet fuel in the air?
Wow Ms. Brown, you know your stuff! This was a well done video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching. 😊
Thank you for actually going over the MDS info.
You're welcome! Hope it was informative. Thanks for watching!
Wow, that was a fantastic presentation! I have been wanting to clean my kitchen cabinets but was dreading a long, difficult task, but this video has put my fear to bed. I still don’t want to do it but I do feel I can plus I need to purchase the brushes for my drill so my arms do less work. Plus, good info on eraser sponges which I didn’t know about. Great job!
Thank you , glad it was helpful! Don't dread the cleaning, you got this!
I've only watched one of your videos and I am totally addicted. Ha ha. I like thoroughness and intelligence. Yay.
Glad you like them! Welcome aboard and thanks for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
Love Murphy’s wood soap! Such a great product. It has so many uses too! If you read the back it can be used on vinyl and even to wash your car!
Yes, it is! Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely LOVE Murphy's wood soap!!!! It does a great job, it has a great smell, and I love how my wood furniture looks when I'm done with it. It has been part of my cleaning caddy for years and will always be there.
Yay! I’m so glad you like Murphy Oil Soap too. Thanks for watching the show and leaving a comment. 👍
I always learn something from you. Never knew magic erasers are a fine sandpaper.
I learn new things every day too! Thanks for watching!
Love Murphy's Oil products. Now I will try the recommended brushes for my next deep cleaning. Thank you for anew video
Let me know how it goes! Thanks for spending a few minutes of your day here with me. :-)
Thank you! As mentioned by others, well put-together how-to video. Also ordered drill set by end of 2nd viewing of your video. Just wish I had this equipment and knowledge long ago. :)
I recently ordered the drill brush set but worried that it might scratch the finish. Thank you for the answer I needed.
Keep me posted on how the drill brush set works out for you. I’m sure you’ll find many projects you can tackle with the drill brush set. 👍
I moved into a beautiful house with icky sticky gunk on the cabinets. Can’t wait to try this! It may save a remodel if I can make the cupboards beautiful again.
Keep us posted
It is wonderful on my leather furniture. 👍👍
Barney taught me to use it. (RIP my beloved friend.)
Sorry to hear about your friend Barney. But thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, I appreciate it! 🤗
Citrol works very well too. The best part is it can be used on literally every surface. Also works great to get tar spots off your car.
Thank you for sharing this tip and watching my video : )
I helped a friend with her wood cabinets and used the original formula. I was so impressed at how fast it cut the grime and came clean! I used 2 Terry rags: first with Murphys to scrub and clean, second was dry to buff the water spots. The wood was beautiful! Highly recommend!
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing your use of the product, I appreciate it!
Great video! But I use Dawn liquid (about a tbsp) diluted in a gallon of warm water and use it like you did with the sponge. I feel this solution breaks down the grease much better on "powder coated" colored cabinets than Murphy's oil soap that I assume was created for wood finished cabinets.
Great tip, thanks for sharing!
Murphy's states on the bottle it can be used on painted items.
I got mine Murthy soap ready for tomorrow cleaning white coated cabinets.
I just LOVE your informative videos! Your channel is my "go-to" when I have a cleaning question! Thanks again!
Yay! Thank you! I appreciate you watching. :-)
First, I learned a GREAT deal with this video.
I have and still use Murphy Oil. Now I have a different view and know how to use it properly.
Hooray! I'm so thrilled. Thanks for joining me and for taking the time to drop me a line.
I have done this multiple times works amazing I do 1/4 cup murphys oil soap in a sinks worth of hot water and use a non abrasive sponge. If I have any stains left over I use a mr clean magic eraser.
She said not to use the magic erasers on your cabinets because it is like fine sandpaper.
Thanks so much for watching the show.
So glad this video popped up been deep cleaning my apartment and the kitchen is next on the list.
You got this! I'm glad my video will be useful to you 😊 Let me know how it goes.
@@AskAngelaBrown Loving this stuff so glad I tried it before buying paint. My cabinets are glistening and it smells good too.
