Yes! I think that would be the best superpower: with infinite time, you could learn everything there is to know, and possibly get access to all these other powers by yourself(teleporting is easy, just go to wherever you want and then go back in time!)

True. The bad effect of teleportation is that its a all new person D:

But since you don't exist you don't know that it's a different human. So noone would think the original one has disappeared, and the whole world thinks, including the new you, that it is teleportation. Noone would think it's someone different, so why would it be bad
Maarten It won’t have your memories, scars, or life experiences. Its a quick clone. You can only clone dna, not memories. This is the real world, not science fiction. A real clone would start out as a baby, just like you. It would essentially be a delayed twin with a surrogate mother.

There's actually 2 powers I'd like to have and I've given them both a bit of thought:
1. Speak EVERY known language - imagine being g able to communicate easily with everybody on earth including animals, we could understand each other better and actually work towards making the planet much better for our habitation.
2. Transforming into animals - like just being able to transform into any animal would be great, however the only limit I would impose is let's say I'd want to turn into a dog I could only become one breed of dog and not another... So that way I stay true to the species, same principle applying to all other animals
I always, ALWAYS think about speaking every known language, you could live anywhere you want, wouldn't that be cool?

*Immortality.*
The problems and solutions:
*1. Everyone* you love will grow old and die. You will be alone. - This is only a problem for 100 or so years. We are already taking huge steps towards medicine against ageing. Give us 1000 years and we will have something close to immortality from old age or sickness. Not to mention that as a person I can always mourn a few years and move on.
*2. Eventually*, you will grow bored with living and then you can't die. - I beg to differ. Life is full of limitless possibilities, and human memory is not that perfect. At some point, even an already experienced thing will feel new. Not to mention that given such long time, you can create your own fun. This leads to 3rd point
*3. Sun* will consume the Earth there will be no more humans, you will be alone. - Until that happens, humans will have already left the solar system and at that point, I should be smart enough to figure out a solution. Even a dumb guy, given 100,000+ years, can fix most of the things. Not to mention that being immortal means you are infinite power source as you move without requiring food(energy) intake. Even at the end of the universe, you give off energy.
*4. What* if you can't figure out solution and you are all alone in cold dying Universe, where all the energy has stopped? - Meditation is the key here. You learn to go in prolonged meditation where you create things in your mind from your imagination. Yes, you might now be floating in nowhere alone, but you don't really mind as your mind has created new world for you. Or you might go crazy and your mind would shut off. At that point tho, you can count it as death, as you would not be yourself anymore. Small price to pay for such long time to live and have fun.
My whole problem with this, yes, involves the disintegration. 2 psychological issues (for me):
1) if my body is completely particulated, what happens to my consciousness. Is it transferred with the information? or do I cease to exist, and there's an exact replica of my consciousness running around in the new body? I'm not ok with this.
2) Suppose my consciousness IS transferred with the information. I feel like I may have a psychotic break if I think too much about how my original body is now being used in other ways than being my body.
One potential fix would be wormhole teleportation, but that brings up even more issues, at least scientifically

well, "scientifically" wormholes both do and don't exist. Why? We have no clue if they do or don't, thats why its both. We can't explain how it would work because we haven't encountered them, assuming there are wormholes. Theres alot of scifi that could exist, we just need to discover or invent them.

wormholes do exist because the laws of physics and the structure of the 4th dimensional manifold matter sits on can support it, we dont have the tech yet to detect them or observe them, much like black holes--it took a while to get things to detect the radiation but we could at least see the force exerted by the huge mass in space and on light around them even. look also to life besides our own planet, life is made up of the most basic and common thing in our universe so statistically speaking we are NOT alone we just may not be close to our neighbors in the universe. the one true constant is math, but that brings up the whole J integer issue

It doesn’t matter that sound moves slower than light. The only thing that matters is how long it takes the information to get from your ear to your brain. Once a sound wave reaches your ear, your brain can recognize it in just 0.05 seconds. That’s ten times faster than the blink of an eye. Some parts of the ear move fast. The stapes reflex is a way that your ear protects itself from very loud sounds, and it kicks in as little as 0.025 seconds after the sound reaches your ear. This is also why hearing quickly helped our prehistoric ancestors when they couldn’t see, like at night. Hearing the crunching of leaves or the crack of a branch meant the difference between life and death.
Quick answer to "how do we hear the sound coming from the object at the same time we see it when the time....": *we don't*.
Long answer: The brain processes the information (sound and light) to make it appear to be perceived at the same time. For example, in a movie, you could have the audio lag behind the visual (video) by quite a few milliseconds without noticing the lag.

Telekinesis. We're talking about moving matter with your mind. It is literally all the super powers. "I want to freeze things!" *slow the molecules movement with your mind to the point the item is frozen* "I want to teleport!" *Rip and contain a tear in space time by separating quarks / sister particles, pass through the tear, end up and record where you went and why you ended up there* "I want to Fly." *literally TK surf (i.e. lift yourself or an object you're standing on)* "I want Wolverines healing factor!" *manipulate nutrients and energy of your cells to have the healing factor you wish* With true Telekinesis you could use it as a sense to perceive everything. You could memorize hormone patterns and electrical impulses/locations in people to effectively read and control minds. You could insulate your own neurons providing a massive boost to cognitive power. I've barely scratched the surface but telekinesis is broken. If you can Control Matter with your mind you can do anything you wish.

By creating a perfect clone - nah for living (complex) organisms, because that map of our neural pathways does not re-establish in our clone making him/her a totally different person with a totally different consciousness (soul or whatever) in the body you once used to live.

No, you would "die". Your consciousness will stop existing. The person popping out of the teleporter would be an exact copy with all your memories but it wouldnt be you, more like a perfect substitute. Even if it would be impossible to prove this effect from your personal point of view, would you risk dying the second they turn on the machine?
Exactly, this is like an opposite to the Ship of Theseus paradox. If you replace every atom in your body, one by one, by a different atom(of the same elements ofc)you will still be the same, even with no atoms from before. But in this case, if you desintegrate yourself and rebuild you exactly the same, even if you use the exact same atoms as before, you'll "die" (your current consciousness will stop existing)! I think this is mindblowing

Many people misinterperate it and think we could move above the speed of light if we were to teleport. The fact is that even if all of this works out, the signals that are being sent to your destination will still have to obey the laws of physics. Therefore if you were to teleport a few lightyears away, you would appear years later at your destination.
ErectusCuntus It could maybe be possible to teleport faster than light using something called quantum entanglement. It's really intresting. Look it up if you haven't already
