Has anyone ever took the time to look at the description and how much effort he puts into these videos? There's over 30 websites he used, at least half of them are articles that he probably fully read. Not to mention, he has to make a script in a way that the average person can understand that lasts up to 18 minutes. And finally, someone has to edit everything he says, as well as add all the extra scenery videos like the Earth at the right spot that he says. I love this channel.
I think is beautiful too. It makes me think of how do we'll feel and how it would be when we need to use an Earth's flag. And yes, maybe Earth's flag needs to be more green, but I'm okay with the idea of a flag symbolizing Earth more like the blue planet.

I think, if we have colonies on Mars, even international ones, they should have at least a basic set of rules/laws and some basic organizational system for starting out, set up before they even leave Earth. Starting a new colony would be a hard life, and it would make it harder if the colonists have to completely reinvent society from scratch as some random, disorganized collection of people. If they have at least some basic system, even if they end up changing it later, it would give them something to start from.

When you go into space, you can't be perfectly stationary because you will eventually get dragged / pulled by another large body until you go away fast enough. And obviously if you manage to escape their gravitational pull, you are still floating through space and actually moving fast, continuing your journey around Milky Way. You were never truly stationary, you never stopped. You are not even going to know if you have actually managed to stop and waited on an exact point of space, even if you were on space, away from anything. Movement and stopping is relative on vacuum of space, without gravitational pulls. Who is to say that you are accelerating to reach a planet? Maybe you were going too fast and your acceleration actually helps you slow down when looking at the bigger picture, but your only point of reference is Earth and Sun and that Planet you are trying to reach, so you think you are going fast.
