I have the same issue. I believe its the gears that drive the side brush. I toom them apart, lubed them, put them back in. Noise went away for like 2 ours and came back than. I thing one of them gears is loose on its shaft and able to move along its axis, still able to drive the brush tho
Well... Turns out thats not it. The main Brush has one fixed side and one thats able to rotate. Take out the main brush and spray some WD40 on the rotating side. Noise is gone.
Mate... You are a hero. This sound has been bothering me for two years now. I've taken the Roborock apart three times now. The solution is to put some WD-40 on the rotating part of the main brush driver.. You can access it without taking it apart. Just remove the main brush and put some WD-40 on the rotating part.
Hello, I have the same problem. I tried to clean it completely, change the rotative brush, try to clean hairs in wheels (really hard and did not find any tuto) but I still have this noise. Maybe generics parts.

@@Orshabaalxl no worries mate! Bothered me for a few months and I had enough! Enjoy your robot (again)! ;)
@@nevermind1O844 omg thank you!!!!
Thanks! Helped me as well. Not sure how lubing that tiny shaft would help but it sure did :).
Jan Kressin has the solution below in the comments!
Do the other guys get notified after that much time? Maybe adding a commet directly to theirs works better!?
