    Thanks. My Roborock lidar stopped spinning again. I dropped a little oil last time, made it run 2 years more. I replaced it with a spare motor I ordered last time. In five minutes, it resume cleaning. you saved me figuring how to dissemble it. I think it had bad batch of motors. The replaced motor can still run, it may need another drop of oil.

      Maybe the LIdar itself is shot. You can try to look at the unit while it's asking with you phone and seeing if the Infrared light is visible. You usually see it as a flickering straight line on the wall

    My lidar motor seems to work fine when I apply voltage to it. Also at start roborock seems to provide voltage. But when lidar module is in the vacuum it errors out. I think the edge connector is the fault. Any ideas how to improve the connection? I mean before I go and spend 100 bucks on new one with no guarantee it solves the problem.

      The black connector on my laser unit is at fault and I need to completely replace it. It behaves the same way as yours and I noticed that the "spring" connectors are too far way from the copper and don't make contact. I tried to bend them outwards, but it didn't work. The issue is that I can't find those connectors online to buy them. Can someone help me finding it? I don't even know how those connectors are called.

    • @MGL83
      @MGL83 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@Pmiketube It's a type of edge connector. But I can't fine one with same pin count as this. If the bot was out of warranty I would just remove the connector form laser module and solder a cable to it directly all the way to the mobo.
