I've been to this race since I was a little kid. The race, the atmosphere, everything about Eldora Speedway and the World 100 is truly amazing. If there is anything you need to mark off your bucket list, the World 100 needs to be one of them. You will be hooked. My grandfather and I drive from Cedar Rapids, Iowa every September to Eldora Speedway because every time we go there, it feels like home.
I was there, it was epic! Tyler Reddick put on an epic slide job to win his heat. I am now officially a fan of his. He was so calm and respectful during his interview. And he's only 16! My man Scott Bloomquist won his heat race, as did Billy Moyer, Chad Simpson, Tyler Reddick, Steve Francis, and Don O'Neal. I must say, the track crew did a phenomenal job prepping the track after they got hit with all that rain. This was a great race all around!
They're hitting around 140+ down the straightaways. At the Dream they were averaging 120 mph per lap. Eldora is crazy fast and almost always has great racing.
I member watching chad and chris Simpson both at west liberty every weekend, and Burly is my like 6th cousin lol go Birky!!! Oh and do mention Gary Webb and Steve Boley?
What kind of speeds do they carry in the straights? They barely even lift, pretty crazy racing at Eldora! I really need to go this year and see it live.
Yes thats true but I been in the sport for 12 years, and that place from a racer stand point is not the same. Payout is not the same through out the field in feature or B-mains.
Tony improved the facility but not taking your alcohol in ruined it for me don't drink but people say its long lines and miss racing. Run it like Earl did you got tons of money.
Man I'm glad i get to go this year because I haven't been at elodea science i was a little boy and I hope Donnie and his kid are there and also my first racecar is going to be a late model when I turn 16 can't wait
Notice the screaming yelling announcers totally ignored the 41 car racing in 3rd place. Kept repeating Francis & Lannigan.....even the cameraman stopped recording the 41. What a joke.👎😣💩

that wasn't Tony's choice, it was the State of Ohio sporting event law that changed it... how ever they were offering $2 beer at the world 100 in 2017
