Over 4 yrs with our little 8 inch in our Vette and this thing still kicks Major Ass just like day one. Talk about dependability. Solid construction and tight bass.
Wade Hensley just need to get a shallow magnet sub with a slim box. I have two 12" memphis comps behind my seats in my single cab and you would never know. Those tubes wouldn't even fit behind my seats.
I'm replying as a actual owner who paid $200 for the 8in tube. Installed in our Vette and must say this little thing kicks major ass. It's in the back where the targa top stores and fit perfectly without hindering the storage. If you're looking to get big bass in a small space this will certainly work. But if you're looking to get big bass from a larger space. You might look elsewhere
So what happened to the kicker cube. That was released and never saw anyone or any public reviews on it. It was suppose to be compact and powerful as well, but I only saw a hefty price tag for an 8” sub..
Christopher Hofheins your talking about then class square...i looked forward to seeing and hearing it at a dealer....never seen it...i doubt we will see this either
I'm confused. Wouldn't that passive radiator be out of phase with the sub considering it goes in while the sub goes out? Or am I wrong on that thinking? I know if you have two subwoofers with one going in while one goes out is creates an out of phase deal and causes distortion. I guess because passive radiators create no sound besides bass they have a loop hole around this problem. Passive radiators are just a confusing subject.
When you have a sealed box the air compresses and it's harder to produce deep sounds. This is a little like a ported box where it allows for more air flow. Hard to explain I guess.
( No offense and not hating). It will be more better and more powerful if you had that second driver being powered to make it even more accurate like louder bass.
Nobody wants a bass tube(bass cannon) thats why companies stop making them. Maybe if you're somebody only listen to like Smooth Jazz or Rock maybe even then is that really enough bass.
Agreed. I think there are really two types of people, one who want big bass that opt for a big box, and ones who want bass in their vehicle without taking up boot space and generally go for a underseat sub.
Bazooka still makes bass tubes almost exclusively. JBL introduced one, and JL audio has been selling tube style enclosures for years. There's still a large demand for practical space saving audio upgrades which is why they're offered in so many factory option sound packages
I want teo of the 8" one's to mount under the rear seats of my crew cab truck against the back of the cab so even when the seats fold up they're out of the way.
More importantly, what is the tuning of the passive radiator?...notice they don't want to tell you that. Looks like what we have here is another over priced product that has less output than a subwoofer and box half of that cost.
That’s stupid to have one same sub passive radiator that doesn’t really do the job. Just add the second one to be powered to be even more accurate and More powerful bass with both powered. ._. ( N O T H A T I N G A N D NO O F F E N S E )

Wow this makes me feel young again. It’s like I remember back in 1994.
420dportkid Had a Jensen tube in 94 from Wal-Mart.
These are a GREAT solution for single cab trucks and other tiny cars that a traditional dual sub box just wont fit in. I see these selling VERY well.

Can your top still fit in the back with this bass mounted in the back also? I have the targa top vette.
@@engachatman8135 yes just put it up closer to the seats or just behind them. No problems
@@bigmo19741 thank you.
That’s the 8” or 10”?
@@engachatman8135 I have the 8 but the 10 would fit easily
So how do they compare to the Bazooka brand tubes?
This kinds of subs were a sensation in mexico in 1990
"Giant tootsie roll" 😂😂😂

Interested. I had a Jensen Bass tube in the early 90s it was ok.

J KH I saw that and thought the same thing.
stealthballer i guess you could see it as an enclosed flexible port. It does kind of work in the same way. It still moves the air.
Better the ports and vents this rear radiator method. Bass sounds cleaner without bottoming out sound

It could be ideal for my 2009 scion xb
does it comes with 2 speakers in that tube
Nice ...perfect for my semi...
will this be better than the one in the box? how much is it? great info
I'm sure it will provide more bass! They haven't released them yet, but I think the 10" will be around $350 and the 8" will be around $300
Nice work
Do they offer a powered option.
That is great for my Jeep Liberty
Is there anyway i can install these without drilling holes ?
@Scarlet__Jester I meant drilling holes in the truck , its a C400 i feel weird drilling holes but i think i might have too
Do they come amplified i gots to know?????....
Nope!
I need this 🚀
Looking classic.... but I'll stick with my rockfords.
No one cares dude. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@alexgarcia3900 you obviously do with that comment 🙄
These are sealed, right? I see no port.
Yea they're sealed, no port. Go pats!
When it come to size, i think the lady's will like this ;)

Can it handle 800 w
does it still need an amplifier?
unspoken words Yes it will need a separate amplifier.
i just bought one waiting on dilivery does anyone know if its any good ?
Yes have the 8 in one in my Vette. Kicks Ass you wont be disappointed

an normal bass tube with port and 12 inch sub. its so loud. they make them. but not so much
Nice copy...earthquake subs with passive radiator was first
Radiators have been around forever
*an enclosure is only as good as the subwoofer inside it*? I know heaps of people who would adamantly disagree
i thought that saying was the other way around, like a sub is only as good as the enclosure around it?
