Dave's voice can hardly do anymore :(, but he still continues to give his all for us Megadeth fans, a legend without a doubt and a clear example of self-improvement
@@chefmoviestudios4550 I feel the same way. I saw them live the night before his 60th birthday at Jones Beach in NY. He sounded as good as he could possibly sound considering age and the cancer and all that. I felt that he sounded great and I also respect the shit out of him for not giving a shit or giving in and getting a singer. If you don’t like it, don’t go to their shows or listen. He has definitely found good ways to work around his voice like downtuning the instruments and singing melodies differently. I’d rather see him up there kicking ass than retiring. Fuck that. He’s giving us his all and he’s a fucking badass and a legend.
I think the recording don't give him justice as well, I know hisvoice was down somewhere between 2005-2010 but when I seen him live in Queébec City in 2015 his voice was awesome!
its the recording, people still think close equals best seats. this is a horrible spot both visually and sonically. check out some of the other live recordings
Was there in the pit courtesy of my wife! Was her first Metal show, so she had no idea what to expect. She loved it. Fucking amazing show. I should've read a bit more because I was literally shocked when I heard Prince of Darkness start way earlier than anticipated. In what fucking universe does Megadeth play before Five Finger Meme Punch? We didn't even stay for intermission between bands. We got what we wanted.
Dirk is a beast. He fits Megadeth so well, it reminds me of Gar. I love Nick, but Gar was more dynamic, like a jazz fusion drummer. And Dirk is in that vein which fits the manic riffs from Mustaine. Most drummers that come into Megadeth mimic other drummers. Dirk has created something unique on the new album.
@@jeffblydenburgh5938 to be fair, before Ellefson, Nick was the last guy to be kicked out of Megadeth. Everyone else left on their own, or Dave disbanded the band after his arm injury and didn't retain the members. The Drover brothers, Broderick, LoMenzo, Marty, Adler, all left on their own. Not to say that isn't partly Dave's fault. You can only do so much in a band controlled by one person. Its limiting. But, Dave spoke about letting Kiko into his writing circle, which isn't something he does. Kiko has co-written a bunch of songs in the new album. Kiko is the only player that plays on an instrumental alone, without him switching off with Dave. And Dave steps back and let's him take the stage by himself. It says a lot about how he feels about Kiko as a player. So, it's a good sign that this is the band until Megadeth is done, unless someone chooses to leave. They seem to have great chemistry. It feels like a band again, and that hasn't been the case since Nick was fired.
You mean kiko and Dave do a great job of making the leads clear 😂 gig sound is one thing but to pull it off accurately at that speed live is another thing entirely
Megadeth are back n more musically vicious than ever! Love that they can show younger gens what REAL METAL looks like!! Dave proving that age is just a number! Rock on dudes! \m/
I don't wanna get everyone depressed but there's absolutely no way the next album doesn't suck. I just don't see how Dave could have the fire in him to come up with another great album after Dystopia and TSTDATD. After United Abominations and Endgame we got Thirteen and Super Collider, so I guess we can expect a similar drop in quality for the next material.
@@RafaelCDet I mean, he had a very solid 5 album run from KIMB to Countdown. Even arguably through to Cryptic Writings there aren’t any outright bad albums
Yeah Metallica has been falling behind for quite some time ever since load and Reload ...to now ...just not in the same ball park as Megadeth's consistent body of work ..also Megadeth winning a grammy in 2016 for Dystopia for best metal/rock ...when's the last time Metallica won a grammy ?
Yeah, that’s just unavoidable the closer you get, you lose dynamics from the PA, and start picking up monitor & side fills. The upside is better video, but I hear ya. Thanks for watching
Gotta respect Dave for not moving to backing tracks vocally
He’s a true performer
Love the pride
This lineup is freaking killer. I love these guys. The Sick, The Dying, and The Dead is a stellar!
this one and Menza/Friedman/Ellefson is a tough call for me, but Kiko man!
Dave's voice can hardly do anymore :(, but he still continues to give his all for us Megadeth fans, a legend without a doubt and a clear example of self-improvement
Honestly I think he sounds pretty good here. His voice is shot but he still gives it his all. Mad respect

Dirk did such an amazing job on the record, the second part of mission to mars caught my attention so much!!

megadeth play before five finger sò you can go home early and relax .
Haha yeah Megadeth opening for Five Finger Death Punch? Hopefully Dave and the guys go on tour for the album soon after this!
@@einzelganger7245 Exactly, I'd see that as a positive.
Shame. You missed a banger with 5FDP.
I feel bad for Five Finger Death Punch, can you imagine trying to follow these guys?
I’d never seen 5FDP before, but they did do a solid set
I've been to megadeth, 5fdp and bad wolves in Paris. 5fdp are beast on stage. I prefer Megadeth still
Or Metallica right ?
@@maximumguitarage well, we’ll never know because metallica doesnt open for anyone. Especially not a band like five flavor fruit punch

I agree and he’s a keeper. Dave should keep his ego in check at this age and keep this lineup! Killer!
what a time wasted with shawn drover a guy with fear to hit the snare
Correct. He is the first drummer post-Menza that actually does his stuff.

Megadeth ... thrash more than ever! Kiko is the Brazilian metal boosting this insane lineup. Up the MEGADETH!
Chris Broderick did the same

Banger song.

Those Dr'ums sound so good live!!
AGUANTE MEGADETH SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA 🇦🇷🤘🇦🇷🤘🇦🇷
Finally a drummer that is Human Being behind the kit 😁
The first time I saw Megadeth live J-Lo was apart of the Blackmail The Universe Tour. I'm so happy to see him back :D
Dirk and his subtle tributes to Nick🤘😄🤘. Dirk and Kiko are carrying Megadeth 100% with their talents
And Dave being Dave. No one can play like this guy and still handle the vocals.
i fckng agree
The band is MegaDave, if he stopped being the singer nobody would show up to shows unlike when Judas Priest changed vocalists or other bands that have
I'm so glad they are still around. Love them !
Kiko, we will miss you, the second greatest guitar player in Megadeth history.
Teemu is better lol
AMAZING MIRACLE
WOW AMAZING!! ZENCHAN~!
sounds violent !
Papa H-Field wants to know your location.....boys are firing on all cylinders 🔥
Thank you!!
Dirk is a unit
Uuuhhh.. a good unit or a bad unit? haha
Megadeth is a beast!
dave awesome
They were riding high last night man!
better than ever, i like megadeth
I was towards the back, such a good show

Dave voice is really good in this live , is still shred and this is top , all megadeth is top , love them all , still like this ❤❤
Their drummer is such a beast

MEGA...MEGA...MEGADETH!!
Destruição Total 🎸🎼🥁
Kiki looks just like Chris Broderick in this lol
He is getting ripped
This song deserves a pit!!!!.
the megathrash master mustaine is on another level
Sick Love this Band
kick ass
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Solo scaterred everywhere, mr Mustaine thrashing as always
Is that dude playing on a stack of Marshall amps? What a beast!
Nope! Kiko and mustaine use QuadCortex. Those Marshall cabs are fake.
It's a custom platform
Sound man got the mix messed up or it's the Phone quality saw other vid they Shred🎸 ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Here we can hear the difference between Martin's solos played with Kiko and Kiko's solos played by himself
Goddamn that kicked ass!!!!!! 🤘🏾

3:08 need better production from the lighting crew here…only lights should be spotlight on Dave during this riff!
Kikos lookin buff
Why do you record ellefson instead of Kiko for the first solo
I don’t know, but I can guarantee I wasn’t filming Ellefson
Ellefson got kicked out of the band that's the new bassist
Got tix for D.C. this Saturday!! Why is Megadeth opening for 5 Finger???
Kiko Loureiro do Brasil motherfuckers
Love Daves band but that singer is not killing it
He’s 60 years old and he had throat cancer idk what you expect

Wait a min, who do you think Dave is exactly?
La banda perfecta de trash metal bajista guitarras y y esa batería

I wish kiko was as talented as marty when it comes to composing solos.
Can't stand when the wrong band member is filmed during their spotlight moments
