The Valant-chinese part happened by chance when I put the two next to each other and I noticed Valant in his cornered pose looked like he was also leaning in to read Lang's scripture xD

Quite the collection of characters you got here. I was genuinely not expecting Lang of all characters to show up, especially since Valant’s crimes weren’t as major as other criminals in this franchise and Lang is an international officer not from Japanifornia. Anyways, I find it fascinating that there is a conflict of allowing Zak to be channeled since his trial was still technically unresolved since he disappeared and then later died without a verdict ever being made for his innocence, at least on the charge of murder (this man is far from innocent as I’m sure everyone knows). Maya can’t stay out of prison, can she. Can’t wait until the next part.
Well, Valant was the cause for the whole Magnifj Gramarye disaster, so it was bound to get higher-up attention xD As for Zak, it was about time more consequences of his actions appeared on screen other than Kristoph Gavin's envy :p Glad you liked 💪

I love the fact that this has the characters from each trilogy (plus aai duology) interacting with each other
I did not expect this video to be a roast session with all of the characters, but I am very glad it is.
Been trying to come up with a plot that would lead to Zak's channeling for months, and I think a roast session ended up being quite fitting for him xD
In many videos I have noticed one crucial thing which, if corrected, would make the game more "in-game-like".
In games, it is usually first person not appearing on screen in the investigation part. This is why if we played as Phoenix, we only saw him either in court or in Mia's flashbacks.
Apollo Justice, Phoenix Wright and Athena Cykes are basically all potentially main characters, so one of them could be off-screen. Same with Thalassa, if you decided to portray her as the main character.
In objection lol it can be done by replacing the nametag, speech sound (to avoid Apollo talking with for example female voice) and making the character appearing on screen not play talk animation.

Also another suggestion for continuing the series:
Maya gets out of jail after paying a fine or after a failed court. Since DCA is no longer in effect it, her defense wouldn't be life-threatening. Since she only threatened to channel someone (and because she is needed alive) regardless whether defense wins or loses, both her and her lawyers stay alive, maybe a bit humbled tho

From Thalassa going wild over Trucy plushies, to the misunderstandings, even the small things like Magnifi's side-eye when Jove performed, I loved this from start to finish!

Randomly rewatched today, had two realizations I hadn't on my first viewing:
1) I love how you used the fact Athena and Apollo never met Lang in canon to justify giving him an exposition introduction. I could see it being in an actual game, it's so perfect because it _doesn't_ feel like exposition, it actually feels like Athena explaining something Apollo wouldn't know.
2) How did I not realize what you did there with Jove? Apollo inheriting his chords of steel from his _musician_ father makes way too much sense! (Albeit, since Dhurke is no slouch either when it comes to loudness, I would have just as easily accepted the idea that Apollo learned it from his adoptive father. Maybe it's a bit of both?) ❤
1) Initially I planned to have the whole introduction from Thalassa's pov, with her explaining Lang to Apollo, but in the end I felt Athena was more fit for the role 😅
2) Actually iirc Dhurke had mentioned something along the lines of Jove's voice being quite loud, and in SoJ I'm sure someone mentioned the chords of steel in such a manner. It wasn't entirely my original idea xD but yeah it's fully about Jove
I wasn't expecting to see Maria Gorey over in the outro, but the dynamic between her and Portsman is as good as ever. (By "ever", I mean the only other time they've interacted on this channel.)
She adds a creepy and raw element to the crew with her way of speaking ngl, balances the silliness a bit xD

I just noticed how the height for Apollo, Trucy, and Rayfa were all shorter than others to make it clear they were shorter than others, amazing attention to detail there!
That said I refuse to believe Maya is still that short, there’s no way she grew that little after that time skip

As for Maya, in SoJ her height is canonically 159cm (or 5ft 2), so yeah. She grew a bit but not much :p

Well, at least this time Maya got herself arrested for something she actually did. Or rather, threaten to do.
Yeah, though she might be actually lucky to witness modernized Judicial System to simply fine her or simply have her jailed for such a threat, she might not be executed.
Actually, I think if we get pt.5, this could actually work, because Maya was caught red-handed with the threat, so not even Phoenix would be able to defend it, even with DC act no longer in effect. But for a change, she would get fined or simply put in jail for mere days (due to certain connections).
Debastian Sebeste, I hope you take this idea into consideration.

Given his loud af voice, it seems to me your approach is either like he’s got some metalish voice going on or like what I suggested just really loud tho.

Ah, I like how you tried to measure the heights of characters as accurately as possible. Is interesting to see who is actually taller or shorter when compared to the games. Also, good to see you used the nice high quality models from Investigations Collection with Lang, well I think anyways. I guess not for Spirit of Justice models of Rayfa, Nahyuta, Athena and Trucy as of yet as I can see they are a bit more blurry.
Still, good stuff this video here, also like that Maria Gorey is now part of the outro now, adds a a not as silly person to the silliness of it. Looking forward to part 5 sometime. Now I wanna see what happens if Phoenix ever meets Ryunosuke one of these days :P.

@debastiansebeste No, more regarding their experiences as parents, with Thalassa showing her concerns after reuniting with her children. Actually, it'll be nice to have a different perspective of Phoenix as a father, seeing his concerns, fears and his anger at Zak, and a chance for Trucy to open up her genuine feelings of that matter.
Also, I loved the story so far and I can see both Apollo and Trucy accepting Thalassa back, not only because they are her children, but also seeing the circumstances so far, seeing how scared she is. Also, it will be nice seeing Machi back.
Oh? I would've never guessed Jove to be related to James Hetfield, that makes me love him and Apollo even more xD

You know I always wondered what would it be like if job Justice was channeled considering only his memories were brought down. It's likely that if he gets channeled by a spirit medium, his very first memory would be worrying about the flames.
In fact, I kind of imagine that daruke and Jove spoke with each other a little bit before the Arson and even though it was short, they left quite an impression on each other. Basically I imagine that Maya would have channeled daruke and Pearl would have channeled Jove. Since the hair color of the medium doesn't change to match the spirit's original body

Hey Debastian Sebeste, I think I have a cool Idea for you to make a video of if you ever put it on your to do list whether it is soon or eventually. I think I would like to see confrontations of the victim and their murderers, like inmagine if for example Frank Sahwit murdering Cindy Stone since it is probably the easiest one since it is the first case and simplest one of the entire series as a test or sample or something.
Like Larry Butz could go to Cindy Stone's apartment and he is like
Larry Butz: "Cindy are you here? Please don't leave me, I know we haven't spoken in months if not years, but I want you to know that I still love you, please come home to me soon again my Cindy-Windy."
Larry Butz is there for a while but eventually she never comes so he gives up and leaves. Frank Sahwit seeing Larry Butz leaving thinks that the apartment is empty is like
Frank Sahwit: Now that the man is out of his apartment I can help myself to the valuables in it.
Frank Sahwit helps himself in to loot the place, while he is getting the things to either take back with him for his home or to sell eventually Cindy Stone gets back from her vacation from Paris, or New York depending on if the game is in America or Japan, and she is like
Cindy Stone: "Who are you and what are you doing in my apartment?"
Frank Sahwit is like startled and he is like
Frank Sahwit: "ACKKKKKKKKKKK!"
Frank Sahwit thinking internally: "This Woman is the one who lives in this apartment? I can't get caught doing this burglarizing and looting thing now after I have been careful for so many years."
And well we all know what happens after that Frank Sahwit brings the Thinker Clock onto Cindy Stone's head causing her to die of blood loss due to blunt force trauma. That could be an interested video to see written and animated including him bringing the thinker down on Cindy STone's Head. If it goes well, maybe you could do the conversation and confrontations between Jack Hammer and Dee Vasquez before she pushed him in the steel samurai costume onto the spike fence at Global Studios studio number 2 trailer or Yanni Yogi and Robert Hammond inside Yanni Yogi's house and he asks Robert Hammond if he remembers who he is and if Robert Hammond does or doesn't, then Yanni Yogi can tell him his name and also tell him how he ruined his life and Robert Hammond pleads for his life but Yanni Yogi says you should have not ruined my life with the insanity plea but because you did, now you die. And he shoots Robert Hammond in the chest killing the corrupt lawyer years before the dark age of the law.

Hey Debastian Sebeste, I think a cool idea for a video for you to make would be a what if Princess Rayfa was asked to perform the Divinination Seance for Gregory Edgeworth, so the World could see who killed Gregory Edgeworth in December 28, 2001 in the Courthouse elevator, not that it would work since Gregory Edgeworth was unconscious of course at the time he was killed so even with his name, and face it would likely show no vision in the pool at all, but it would be interesting to see the fallout for Rayfa and the Kingdom of Khura’in.
Similar idea would be if Misty Fey in a different timeline where she was never called a fraud happened, if she was asked to channel Jove Justice in 2005 to ask if the fingerprints on the lighter to try to kill Queen Amara, if the fingerprints were really dhurke’s and if he saw the hand on the lighter if it was bare or had gloves on. Like maybe it could be that since the hand had gloves on it and the lighter had dhurke’s fingerprints on it means Ga’ran was trying to frame him?
The problem with having Rayfa perform the seance for Gregory would be, first and foremost, that Rayfa was born 13 years after Gregory Edgeworth's death xD
About Dhurke, let's say there's already something in the plans ;)

Screw it I'll ask: Why did Apollo mention Zak being accused and Magnifi dying but not that Magnifi killed himself? I liked the moment with Valant, but it felt a bit strange. The rest was all as incredible as usual, but that one detail is nagging at me.
@@Phantom_DD I guess I didn't convey that properly. Apollo told her everything. Rayfa was well aware of the fact that Magnifi killed himself and that Zak is innocent. That's why she relied on the fact that he never was officially declared innocent, and afterwards accused him of child abandonment. She pretty much heard the whole story and disliked Zak for abandoning Trucy (you can see that the moment she realizes who Zak is at 9:54, what she mentions is the abandonment. Not once did she try to counter Valant's argument about Zak's innocence of murder either, because she was aware.
If the confusion is caused by the flashback of her talking about the Hell of Tickling, Apollo still told her about Magnifi's suicide afterwards. I just decided not to show it to save a little bit of time. Plus, since at that point Rayfa was hellbent on not letting Zak's channeling happen, I wanted to show that she grasped on anything she could think of against him

Just a couple things I wanted to say in terms of criticism:
- In Ace Attorney, blue text is never used without brackets or in dialogue (Ryunosuke sometimes mumbles his thoughts, but they're not meant to be addressed at someone). Whispering is usually rendered as normal dialogue, and it is made clear that it's whispered through context or by using the "Psst!" interjection or the "*psst*" onomatopoeia. If you want different formatting, though, I'd suggest using bracketed white text. It just doesn't feel right to have spoken non-bracketed blue text in Ace Attorney. That formatting is generally reserved for evidence information.
- The Zak trial flashback should take place in the Trilogy courtroom, not in the AJ one. Just telling you this in case you show it again in the next part.
@AulusAugerius both criticisms can easily be tackled, let me explain:
1) I use this way of whispering out of choice. After experimenting I wanted to come up with my own way of showing whispering that is not canon to the games. And using blue text outside parentheses was the choice that satisfied me the most ;) Other than that, I don't intend to change it anytime soon, no matter how it works in the games 😅
2) I am well aware that the Zak trial took place in the original courtroom, but if you've watched other vids of mine, I never use the old PW trilogy courtroom because I don't like it that much. I like the AJ courtroom (personally) much better visually. And it will appear in the next part as well.
I might try to be as canon-friendly as possible when it comes to characters, but when it comes to mechanisms, textboxes and backgrounds I always use whatever I like visually the most, and not necessarily follow the games ;)

Since it seems the place doesn't matter for the channeling but that could end up in disaster or they ACTUALLY get permission from Amara for that.

Can you please tell me why you decided to include the Japanese voice clips for Rayfa and Nahyuta instead of their English ones? Also, you mistimed the objection voice clip of Maya with the 'Objection!' speech bubble at 11:18.
1) I didn't mistime it, I just gave up after trying to record that part of the video several times and Maya's voice line never loaded on time due to objection lol's issues
2) I always use the voicelines I like more. In this case, I find Nahyuta's and Rayfa's japanese ones superior to their english ones.
@@debastiansebeste I can accept your reasoning for the mistimed Maya bit, but I think you should've used Nahyuta and Rayfa's English voice clips since all the other characters are using their English Voices. But you do you I suppose. I have ways I can find the voice clips to compensate.
