- Hello everyone, it's Brandon from the Pilot Studd channel! In today's very special flight sim video, I share some footage from what was an awesome flight sim event - FS Weekend 2024! I had such a blast on the saturday at Lelystad Avidrome and will be sharing the best bits from across that wonderful day. As such, today's flight sim news video is a little bit different, recorded in a rather rudimentary fashion from the show floor, I showcase not one but two of the most exciting upcoming flight sim releases, the PMDG 777-300ER as well as the FlyByWire Airbus A380. I hope you enjoy!

Hey peeps! Just to avoid any confusion the 777, you all see in this video (and the one you’ll see in the sim first) will be the 777-300ER!
I am super pumped to do some southwest operations with the 737 max
Man I Can't wait for these aircrafts to come out!!
Hi Alpha!!
ALPHAAAA LOVE THE CONTENT
Me too, but I also can wait to pay 100$ for the triple 7
Definitely looking to the Flybywire A380 the most 👌
Im looking forward to the 777 the most
yeah because its the only plane you can afford
yay!! Happy to see previews for the 777
Thanks for the video.Good to see you had a great time at the show mate 👍
1:00 nooo, you actually got the chance to see a KLM 747-200!? I couldn't be more jealous right now, you are so lucky!
It is a 747-300 ^^
What a great point in our timeline
Very exciting indeed. Great video.
So you tried it for the first time by landing with a crosswind almost going tail wind when variating...
You like challenge !!! It was a good landing !
Thanks for this video !
GREAT VIDEO!!! LOOKS VERY GOOD!!
great great so excited
So much hype for the PMDG777!!!!
Not really! Same as the other ones they have done, nothing looks 2024 about it tbh.
@@CaptainStandifordOh ok! Lets just allow devs to carry on and release things that could be better in this day and age! Why you mentioning P3D? Ive got thousands of hours in MSFS, never played P3D, you melt.
It was a great weekend! so many flight sim fans at once place, it's unbelievable!
Heck yeah
Didn’t know you were there studd. I ended up sitting on a staircase at the back of the A380 reveal. Was an amazing day and I think they’re saying March 15th-16th for 2025
Haha, it was a great event! I was stood at the bottom near the stage.
Saw you from a distance had to leave pretty early because of work sadly 😁
Great vid.
Any a350 or a330 news as well?
This was good enough for me to buy the product. I hope the Flight model is up to scratch as we always know PMDG !
Been waiting for this feeling like a year
It's been 4 years.
Great video Brandon
Thanks mate!
Can't wait to have the A380 parked in LHR and then fly it to Miami.
I was there on Saturday, unfortunately didn't get to meet you. It was so busy there!
meat

@@Buckchooymeet
Hopefully next year!
@@Buckchooy nice meat
that is awesome
Indeed it is!
I know this is really off the topic, but it still by PMDG when you buy the 737-700 do the windows on the very top of the aircraft go down?
Hi, thanks for sharing this video. May I kindly ask if the color of the cockpit on the video differs from the PMDG 777 trailer? Anyways, I can’t wait for the release of the PMDG 777
LOVELY! The second I saw it the good old 777 felt like home immediately. This is really the first video that shows panning around inside the cockpit, and the quality looks outstanding. Even the screws inside the cockpit are modeled in 3D. A blue carpet inside a 777 looks kinda strange, normally this colour is Airbus only and older Boeings use a dark brownish carpet in the cockpit. The screens and the instruments look gorgeous, I hope a few cockpit layout modifications will be possible (backup instrument full layout etc.).
This looks like a great 777 that awaits us!! Wonderful.
The A380 will also one beast of it´s kind in quality and realism, but the A380 might take another year in development so I personally focus on what I can get very soon - Piston and Turbine Duke and 777 :)
Glad to hear you enjoyed the insight of this video Julia, thanks as always for your viewership!
2024, year of the heavies.
Which door does the jetway connect to on the 777? The L1 or L2?
Haha! See you next year :)
Gonna miss that pen holder in the cockpit 2:31
Ugh I live 30 minutes away from Lelystad and totally forgot the event took place. Are you also going to release an event video ?
Event video should be up shortly :)
The A380 seems like the much better item from the screenshots.
Hopefully pmdg doesnt overprice their planes like crazy again
Is the 777 coming to xbox cuz ik the a380 not
I’m hoping I can use simbrief for the 777 I can use it fine on the fly by wire a320 but not the 737 and done everything I can so I hope it’s easier on the 777
Will the B777-300er come to Xbox in the same time as it comes to PC?
I appreciate your videos. I wish they would release these planes already. The constant teasing and sneak peak. I know what these planes look like in real life. I just want to fly them in VR. Give us a release date and we will say thanks.
Well it looks like we’ll have the 777-300ER very shortly, so hopefully not much more waiting around Gervan!
Will it be possible to import the flightplan from the worldmap into the A380?
Probably not as it’s pretty much a study level aircraft!
Is this the -300 or -300ER?
It’s the ER! Should’ve included that :)
Er
Are they also releasing the 777-300ER or just the -300?
First up will be the 300ER! Should’ve made that more clear :)
@@PilotStudd thanks for clarifying! The -300ER is my favourite variant so it’s great that it’s going to be released first! Probably going to be pretty expensive tho!
Also I would like the -200LR when it comes out for the classic British Airways routes!
No news on A380 release date? Cmon lol
I did ask, you know what the answer was 😜
@@PilotStudd “it’s released when it’s released” lol well thanks for asking. Hopefully it’s out this year
The first 777 will be the 300ER not the 300
Correct! A mistake I amended in the pinned comment, my bad
Did you get to meet up with Emi (aka: a330driver). One of my favorite youtubers
Great fan of his content! Literally so helpful, but sadly no, didn’t see him, it was so busy!
dont get me wrong, great stuff PMDG have been doing, have been using PMDG products for years, BUT I am a bit annoyed and as are many that I have seen that PMDG are not doing the 777-300A. They are doing all 777 variants except the 300A. Their statement was " not many operators are using it " but my response to them is. " how many operators are using it now? not many, how many operators of the 747-400D are there now? None, so why make the 400D but not the 300A? " the statement they gave is not enough in my opinion to not do the 777-300A not to mention its not different from the 200ER and 300ER if you took half and half parts. the 300ER cockpit and everything in it, the 300ER fuselage, the 200ER gears. It is just the same. I do hope at some future they reconsider. Now me posting this here is not aimed at the youtuber showcasing the lovely aircraft. Great video. I just felt a need to get my opinion out somewhere in hopes some will understand.
Always happy to see someone voice their opinion in a civilised matter, I cannot say I have heard of the 777-300A, if you could give me a rundown of this variant, that would be appreciated! Thanks Adam :)
@@PilotStudd the 777-300A ( from how I heard it was named in Robert’s stream but I know it as the 777-300 or 300 non er ) but it is used by operators like Cathay Pacific and ANA and formerly JAL from a year or two ago but due to the PW engine problems globally they retired them earlier, ANA did bring them back into the fleet after the issues though, also airline operators are Rosseya (I might be spelling it wrong but the Russian operator) and I think also air peace??? One previous operator were Singapore airlines I remember flying on it a lot. The engine types include the RR and the PW that you see on the 200ER. The 300 was the first long variant of the 777 previous to the 300ER and was made after the 200ER. The first variant of the 777 was the 200 then came the 200ER then the 300 then the 300ER and 200LR and 200LRF.
@@Adamsappletechsupport Excellent thanks for this, who knows, PMDG may bring it out down the line
@@PilotStudd hopefully so. Since the new update at the time on P3D with the PBR update and 200ER expansion, a lot of people went to the PMDG forums asking about it and since at the time a mod was being thrown around of a PMDG 300 mod which PMDG began to hear about themselves but they still stuck to their statement. And then when the rob stream came out some in his chat we’re still asking about it. Hopefully they reconsider. Rob did say in his words that “there’s a low chance of it being made but who knows” if I remember he saying something like that on his stream but yeah… one can hope haha. One day maybe.
I find the cockpit of the 777 to look a little bit cartoonish compared to the 737 variants, doesn't even look anywhere as good as the p3D versions, even the pen holder which I believe is present in every 777 is just not there, is this something they are still going to work on further or is this model final?
@@CaptainStandiford i did and it looks exactly the same. I urge you to go back and read my entire comment Monter, and there is no need to be rude, the way things improve is by making comments and suggestions and through honest criticism.
