    My Ruck is stock with stock engine, bought larger rear rack and have permanent white plastic saddle bags on it, with turn signals on bags. I call it my white bumblebee. Got rock guards on my stock headlights. Get lots of compliments on it and questions, particularly from harley riders and women. All are surprised that, at least in Arkansas, no license, no registration, no insurance required. Must have valid dl, but not necessary to have motorcycle designation. Being now 71+, I prefer slow fun riding on back roads...did my share of 80+ mph freeway riding on my Goldwing...but my knees are bad and the GW was a horse to manage when in town...but not my Ruck! Just fun all the time, and its quiet enough I can slip away from home for lunch any day I want! Ha ha. When asked how fast ir goes, I just say, "Fast enough to get a ticket in town!" which of course is true...ha ha.

  • @evanhunterblbier
    @evanhunterblbier 5 лет назад +1

    Great channel. Learning a lot from your videos. Considering a ruckus with a moderate build, small stretch and somewhat lowered. Do you think the lowered stance helps with the ride and performance? I feel like it will make it harder for people to see me

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  5 лет назад +1

      Yes it will make it harder for people to see you so you have to drive bee defensive. Helps to have a decent loud exhaust too. It’s easy to control but a bit harder to turn. On the flip side , no one ever misses me. The ruckus is such an odd duck on the road people are always yelling at me “cool bike” , “hey what’s that?”

    • @SmallEngineVelocity
      @SmallEngineVelocity  4 года назад

      I’m sure it works , but the NCY CDI should be done after you get a tachometer, change out your varriator and do some weight tuning. Alone it really doesn’t do much. Always ask :) we where all new at one point or another.

      TRS the ruck shop has a good video install on the NCY CDI. I highly suggest it but get a Trailtech tach (really small) and a pollini varriator first ... maybe some 5g dr pulls sliders to start before that. One mod at a time to control your variables when tuning is how I like to work.
