No. 1 for me, it's a Honda...like you said, dependable and reliable. Great mileage, and FUN to ride! And for an old guy like me, I love the fact that in my state, no license and no assessment so no taxes for owning it!

Got the oversized rack on my stock white Ruckus, anf then had white saddlebags added. Wired lights on the bags so I now have extra large turn signals! Looks like a baby Goldwing! Ha ha.

I'm pawesome when I started looking for one I knew you Could get one new for around 2600-2800 so I was looking for an old one @ like under 1000. Even a 2006 an older beat up one still sells for 1500 or more. As for reliability I just drove mine two work and expect to for a long while.
I’m interested in that lamps you got on your yellow Ruckus. Thinking ti change my regular lamps to leds sometime and may help me in almost rural areas I’m in.

1. Insurance (Texas minimum liability) should be around 200 or less. Depends on your record. Mine is 210 because I’m a horrible drivers 2. Inspection , make sure you have all your lights , mirrors , plate light working. If you have signals they need to work if you don’t have signals it’s no problem 3. Tax office with your MCO, insurance, inspection and a filled out U-130 form. Pay the taxes and regulation in the bike. No need to have a M endorsed license to do this but it is needed to ride. Now if you ride and don’t break any laws and don’t give them an excuse to pull you over your okay but only until you get pulled over. That’s up to you. Hope this helps :)
Ernesto Gonzalez mine is at 6-7 k some where around there. The get motor is pretty solid but anything over 8k I think you can start asking to drop the price. It’s a 49cc so 8k is a lot on a piston the size of a Dixie cup. Hunt for around 1500, and the less it’s modded the better chances they didn’t rag on it :)
I like it :) has a very rich after market for just about any way you want to mod it. Can’t really go wrong. 125cc as line as you don’t want to go 60-65 (depending on weight)
ok guys what is the highest speed limit road you have drive on I have had people pass me on a double yellow for doing the speed limit in my car so as I shop for scooter my thought is if I cant do the speed limit maybe I shouldnt be on that road
Okay I'm putting this on both your posts asking about 45 mph roads. Some rural roads are 45 mph near me but NO ONE ever goes 45 and its more like 60mph. You will have to judge that and go by the "public's" speed limit. Now near my house we have 45mph roads and they are 4 lane so I just stay to the right and I'm fine , plus people rarely go over 45-50 mph. Sounds like your 45 mph road is a long block of asphalt that people tend to go really fast one. To me that is to unsafe. Be safe ,use your best judgment and enjoy your Ruckus!
I ride mostly in town where the speed limit is 35. When possible on 4 lane streets I always stay in the right lane so people can pass me easily. On 2 lane roads in 6 months of riding I have only had 2 a-holes pass me, and if I had been in my Tacoma going 10 mph over the speed limit, they still would have passed me! Most folks are real nice and I try to be nice too. Scooter riders around here just seem to have a nicer public attitude concerning them as compared to motorcyclists!
Ive seen 280lb 6 foot men on them before and to me its great. Its all about how YOU think you look. Go find one and sit on it. You may prefer not to lower it so much (like other people) and do a mild lower if any. Send me a pic if you do get one or if you need an opinion on how you look on it
I'm six foot and the Ruckus is still very doable. I do need to modify it a little to be more comfortable though. You can mount foot pegs on front of the running board. That's one thing I'm doing.

Loser Let me ask you a question how many times do you fine your self back at the shop working on it or even you your self working on it.. Just asking. Reason why I asked is because I purchased a 49cc and I also purchased a 50cc and both kept giving me nothing but headache 🤕 I now have a Zuma I saw the Rukus. But the dealer told me that the Zuma is better then the Rukus. So I did hear there both good bikes. But for what I do the Rukus wouldn’t be a good option for me.. I do food delivery. I am hoping to get one one day might be my 2nd bike I like the way they look.. But um Your reply can help to me buying a better 2nd bike wouldn’t buy a better bike?

Honda Ruckus looks the dopest in stock form with a Milk crate bungeed on the back🛵🚦
I put the milk crate in the foot area and use my pegs for my feet. It works really well :)

i have a 2006 , they are called zoomer here in the u k . great little bike for our local villages . i am 73 .

I'd definitely pay less for a ruckus that's modded, unless you do a bigger engine upgrade, I'd keep it stock!!

Nah way too pricey. I can buy 2 brand new Chinese 50cc scooters for less than 1 rukus.
