Hey brother I'm new at this! I bought a piece of junk 2003 gy6 ruckus!! I'm becoming a member and trying this by myself so thank you in advance for explaining everything for dummies like me!! Your the man bro!!
I saw Australian branded Hunter Scooter and IMHO it beats all Ruckus mods. The speed, stability, brakes, safety all looks nice and well in proportion. I one of the motorcycle expo (forgot when and where but in 2023 or 2024, a complete ruckus mod by Honda on display. So after I heard you say a 150cc would only get you up to 55-60, that let me know that the struggle wouldn't be worth the payoff, considering I already hit 45 with my stock 2022 Ruckus. Thanks for saving me the time & money!
No problem :-) GY6 is will have 3 times the torque and power of a stock ruckus. You can get a stock ruckus engine to go 60 mph with mods or a GY6 engine to go 100mph with mods…. Pick your poison. Keep in mind all the numbers I share are a mile above sea level in Denver colorado. We loose 20% of our power at this high altitude. What ever you choose it’s fun stuff!!
My pcx 150 with ncy kit and dr pulley sliders gets 67mph and I weight 290lbs. But people that weight 150ish can hit 75mph so a lot depends on how much you weight.
the 150 will actually pull you up a hill without you getting run over. even the so called 100cc has no torque compared to the 150. You should probably get more education on the differences between torque and hp before making uneducated comments

You could do it. You would need to fabricate a mount and hub, along with build a harness. It definitely wouldn’t be simple. The real question is why? The GY6 is extremely reliable and the power of a 232cc is great! At around 22hp
