Best batch since C919
I’ve been drinking these since ‘21. Never had the C920. C923 is by far the best I’ve had, including a number of their Single Barrel BP store picks.

I stumbled upon this from a small Mom n Pop shop earlier this week and got c923. They put it behind a124 and forgot about it.
I check behind every bottle that is batched like this every time. A lot of them just don’t think about it and always put the newer ones first!
I can't seem to locate a C923 but the JD SBBP I'm sipping is keeping me totally satisfied.
6:23 very good point Trev, I would bet my life that some older batches of ECBP (even after pirate bottles) contained much older juice than 12-13yrs.
I can all but guarantee it. I know it without proving it hahaha especially those pirate bottles. They tasted drastically different

Loved this release. I believe it's one of their best since 2020.
A123 is fantastic, B523 is good, C923 is PHENOMENAL.

I promise that 2023 has been the year of the age statement! Increases, decreases, and additions all over the industry.
I have only been picking up ECBP batches since 2021. A123 is the gold standard according to my palate. C923 is probably second but I’d have to do a comparison to be sure. No doubt C923 is a must buy for Elijah Craig fans.
At least it’s hard to decide our favorites without doing side by sides. Just means they are all good in some way!

C920 & C922 are both hitters!
ECBP removed the age statement and offers this as a consolation prize. I hope to find this and have the opportunity to try it.
Fun fact (maybe you already know this) - Reese's signature PB flavor is a result of overheating / burning the recipe early in its development
