A Crown Vic With a Superchargerd is Crazy, But a Crown Vic With a Supercharged and a Manual Swap is A Pretty Crazy and i Love It.
Awesome changes to this thing!
I have one with a roots style blower hard to keep it tuned but it runs hard when it is
It’s a four door Mustang GT, the suspension & brakes are very impressive. He thought of other things rather than just straight line performance. Truly a sports sedan.
Apparently it handles very good with all the suspension upgrades
The goal is for road course track days. Like big willow and button willow and the specp71 series.
Suspension is better than every mustang other than s550s
@@lpatierno84 I drive a 2018 Mustang GT
@@AR-uz4ek how do you know?
I love that it's a 6spd .. nothing like rowing gears in a boosted V8 🔥💯
Agreed
Now if I could convince my chief to let me patrol in this instead of the pos chargers we have..
Hey it’s better than walking relax there buddy.
If police cars were set up like this it would be insane and you guys would be having a blast!
What don't you like about the chargers
@@chrisdunn2544 they should just give him a geo metro and a bag of coal 😂🤣 let him patrol with that 😂🤣
@@chrisdunn2544 the suspension is garbage.
U had me at 6 speed manual 👀
Me too!! And supercharged!
I've got an '09 Shelby GT500 and I want this thing! Soo cool!
They had me at crown Victoria 🤘
Me too bro me too
Definitely the best modification you can make to these cars is the manual transmission. The factory Ford AODE is geared horribly. Meant for cruising only.
I like the way he used the same heavy duty factory police spec material for the front race seats, nice touch.
Nice touches all over on this one
Very clean and not over done!
Just shows the easy huge potential of the 4.6
This adds a new dimension to "sleeper"... Also, NOW it's an Interceptor hey? Very well done job, I like that shove in the back.. Pulls insanely strong
Pulls and drives great. Really impressed with this one
People would look at drag strips a little different, imagine if 4 of those pulled up for racing perfect sleepers ALL DAY, YOU WOULDN'T SEE IT COMING!!!!
Panther platform ceases to amaze , the fact you could double the hp and still have most of the stock internals is amazing. Got my Marquis for 800 bucks , still going down the road !
Awesome!
That's as far as you can go on the stock rods and pistons...but yes they are tough otherwise.
"Never" ceases to Amaze..
@@alejandrob-c2277 nothing a junkyard 5.3 can't fix ;)
@@alejandrob-c2277 forged internals n boost, what's hard about that??
The Crown Victoria LX Sport is the car that made me a Ford fan. Such a fantastic driver plus all the versatility.
I’m impressed with this thing
im having a blast with my 2007 Crown Vic LX Sport. It would be awesome to make some upgrades.
@@theMister07 nice! What color? Mine was black andI do miss her 2005 year. Michigan salty roads had the rear fenders rusting behind the doors bad. I would like a low mileage mint one with zero salt exposure. How many miles on her? Mine only had 160,xxx sold last year. Ran and sounded perfectly.
@@chrisoconnor3119 black on black. it has 237k but sounds great. I’m sure the previous owner changed the exhaust. Send me an email and I’ll send you a clip. I got some crazy ideas for it for sure.
450 is an impressive number, but just the start of what that block is capable of, even with 2v. Forged internals, improved flow heads, cam, upgraded fuel delivery and some more boost, it will sail into the 600 range. I love this almost minimalist build. No fancy shit, just a good plan and good parts.
I'm about to buy a 03 Grand Marquis LSE. I want to start upgrading from day one. I would love 600-650 from the stock motor.
no fancy shit? it has an 8k supercharger on it@@checkc131
Disregard, I bought a Marauder. Best way to get power from my 4v?
@@checkc131Congratulations on your purchase!! The marauder forums usually mention cams, forced induction and the whatnot.
Lol I love this thing. Two kids in my neighborhood have them. I have no idea why I like them but I do
After driving this one I’m sold!
They are comfortable.... Nest thing is many of them had kevlar liners in the front doors and in the back seats....in case a suspect magically got out of cuffs and had a bladed weapon you missed...the front door kevlar sheets were for shoot outs of course. Some go-to junkyards to pull them out and make body armor.
I love the expression on Shawns face when they get on it. He’s pinned against the seat and when they let off the big smile comes on his face. 😂😂 Best job in the world Shawn. 😂
I love it!! This thing drove great and is so clean with 143K miles!
Yes!! Shout out to Chris. Love the blacked out fan blades too.
Tastefully done all around from Chris
You can tell Shawn loves riding in these cars, you guys rock for real.
I just started watching your channel a couple weeks ago and I can tell you guys are real car/truck or anything that is cool so keep it up and god bless🙏
I just noticed that they removed the side door trim and flawlessly covered the hole it leaves, beautiful.
That’s King Vic 💪🏼
Like the switch over to manual. Must be a nice daily.
Love the manual on this!
I love dailying my 04 Grand Marquis that I manual swapped and its otherwise bone stock.
Does not have to be fast to be fun.
Its still fast enough to commute to work in and is a blast!
I do plan on going to 4.10 posi and upgraded control arms though.
I have a 2011 Vic P7B...I’m thinking I need to switch to a manual trans
Hot pursuit. I’m a impala ss guy. I dig this Vic. 20 years ago when caprice cop cars were on the street I had the same experience with cars getting out of the way and parting like the reed sea.
Adtr getting some love. Been on the radar of every panther chassis enthusiasts since forever
I love the sound of the Crown 👑 Victoria.
Me too especially with that Vortech supercharger
@@AutotopiaLA I own a 99 standard lx,and was drunk one time, came home from the bar and smoked the tire till it popped.I just love the sound when you stomp on it going about 30mph
Just bought 6 months ago a p71 that has been sitting in a govt warehouse for 15 years and had 17k original miles. Thing looks brand new. Put a new battery in it, and have about 12k in parts sitting in the garage waiting for the time to put them in. Should be about 400hp but it already handles like a dream. Paid 10,000 for it in 2022. Best value for car Ive ever bought.
I'm currently in the process of doing this to my town car. Except I am going to build my 4r75w. I already jmodded it and that really helped that trans shift better.
Let's us know how it goes
Oh I saw that crown vic before I'm from LA and I can remember it from the lic plate lol what s surprise I see a car that I saw on the road on youtube that's awesome 👍
Had the pleasure of meeting Joe.. fuking awesome down to earth person and beutiful Vic..Panther Mafia baby..@panthermafia los angeles.
Really nice guy and great car!
Wow, that's one helluva former cruiser Crown Vic.
Awesome results !!!!
Loving it !!!!
They nailed it on this build
I like the coolness factor and definitely the 6 speed in it. Like that you have people who build there cars on your channel. New subscriber!
Thanks for the sub and definitely in love with the manual and supercharger!
ok you did Casper, Now for the Rocket Couch!
It's a couch that rockets.
This is my dream for my Crown Vic Police Interceptor! It's super do-able in my mind so long as I keep it alive over the next few years while raising capital! Best cars ever.
Really cool seeing these being built to drive
This thing is absolutely beautiful. I love the 6 speed.... definitely on my bucket list to have a build like this
Great P-71 build, love it
And you found another good one. Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it 👊
Totally makes me miss my 9C1 police interceptor Caprice. Love the 6 speed.
Badass ride
Jason, in 1988 I ordered a brand new fully loaded 9C1 Caprice that went straight to Entec Racing in Toronto upon delivery. Out came the 350 and in went an LS5 454 with an NOS Cheater system with jetting set for 175hp. 13.2 in the quarter and was my wife's daily driver for 18 1/2 years. She put 190,000 miles on it, lol.
@@painterboy454 that sounds like one fun ride. I bet it took a lot of people by surprise with the 454 lurking under the hood. 👊
@@jasonbell2582, one of my favorite times was with a 5.0l Mustang while I was pulling our boat with the Caprice and had all the family on board, lol. Many times at the next light a Corvette owner would pull along side exclaiming, "What have you got under that hood?". I'd point to the red "454" emblem discreetly mounted on the fender from a 1970 Chevelle and tell them it's part of a trailer tow option, lol.
@@painterboy454 Tow package thats priceless.
Nothing like the sound of a good supercharger setup!
So cool and sure makes this thing move
My bosses buddy has several of these he did yrs ago and a few Marauder's as well all done up. Totally sleepers that haul ass while riding nice and smooth.
Total sleeper cars
I have two 2007 p71s. My white car is my favorite, it is white with dual spotlights just like this car. I hope to have my car done as nice as this one eventually, I’m just glad to already have the car and have a lot done to mine already, but this car is another level. Have bought multiple ADTR shirts from this guy, hope to start getting parts from him in the near future as well.
That car couldn't be more perfect to me!
It is pure cool
thanks for showing panther love.. i have a MGM love it
I’m thoroughly impressed by this one
I learned to drive in my dad’s 1985 MGM it was my first car. When I heard MGM’s were going away I bought one of the last MGM’s a 2011 rental with 18k on it in 2012.it has over 250k highway miles on it now and still drives and looks new. The only parts I have replaced other than Regular Maintence and wear items were the shocks at 200k miles.everything else including the rotors and rear brake pads are still original.
I have owned only manual cars and trucks since my 1st new car in 1988. I presently own 2017 Mustang GT premium PP. My everyday car is a lightly tuned 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 but I'd love to trade in the Speed for that Vic!!!!
you'll love the huge feel of it n the space, get you one..
You've always got the coolest cats as guests. Another great video brother👌
Thank you! We try
FORD needs to Produce and Sell This CV !!!!!
Ford have
Super charger p2 panter
Or just hit up adtr and build your own
Last Crown Vic was made in like 2012
Probably sell a million of them
I bought a wrecked 2011 that was still drivable...to use for a build... anyways after driving it home I didn't want to test apart....looked it over but frame was bent...sure it could have been fixed but as cheap as they are i could have found another. The ride is awesome...and for what they are peppy.
Hell yeah man I love it. Damn thing sounds good when he gets on it. I'd like to hear a little more exhaust sound out of it, and to be honest I think the crown vics are not a bad looking car either. Its definitely one of those dare to be different rides for sure. As always another cool car!
Really knocked out by the cool factor and drivability of this one
Interesting car....so big, manual gearbox, lots of power and just looks so normal.👍🔥
Wow what a unique build. Sweet car!!!
I absolutely love it. I built a 97 grand marquis with 5inch lift and Ford Explorer wheels with 265/75/16s white letter tires and sold it instantly
Dude feeling the gravity pulling back and talking about brakes
That’s such a beautiful car, set up in all the right ways.
I need 1 Crown Vic, that suspension is siiiick. Diggin the window tint too.
I LOVE IT!!!! CANYON CARVER & FAMILY CRUISER!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Joe a cool dude and the car is a beast. Really glad I got to meet him and Chris from ADTR(not talking about the band)
Great car! That wastegate whistling so loud would get old but it looks like a real performer.
Definitely an inspiration for the platform. I stumbled upon this video after acquiring an 08 Interceptor for cheap. My plans are to do the T5 manual swap and now that supercharger is really pulling me in a boosted direction as well! Paul Walker daily drive an 06 Interceptor which is more than enough to convince me they’re awesome!
Source for that walker daily driver comment. ........ Cant find that anywhere
@@adamhearts9195 yessir so if you Google “Paul Walker Crown Victoria” it’ll show you the white 06 Interceptor that was the primary vehicle parked at his Santa Barbara house. Also Google now has info on it actually selling at auction with the rest of his cars that went.
@@adamhearts9195Paul Walker had 30 cars missing from is estate after his death which included his 2006 p71 that he daily drove. You can find many articles about this that go more into details
*LOVE* the mighty Crown Vic!
Badass ride for sure
first time I liked a video just from the first 10 seconds.
Yours truly, guy who has been pulled over 35 times.
Cool
Merry Christmas Autotopia
Thanks and right back atcha!!
Beautiful car!!! Good work in this one brother!!!!
Had one fixed up badass car always saw potential in these cars
Super cool. And not super loud either! I like it
I have the swaybars on my 07 and they make a HUGE difference. People at the local track were surprised that it was basically good tires, swaybars and a tune. The panther chassis is widely underrated for a larger performance sedan. If only ford had updated them with a 5.0 and the 10 speed automatic they would still be around.
Well there's been a couple ppl that swapped in a coyote already and another guy put in a 6r80 trans it hooked right up to the 4.6 he jus needed a different drive shaft used a ford explorer one and a cross member for the trans
love the crown vic
Love my 07 CVPI, well done on yours.
He did a great job with this one
Goddamn, what a beauty.
Nice work. 👍
Almost never see the OEM trunk organizer.
Man... A 6 speed in a cop car. Priceless!
sweet ride!
I own a 2011 CVPI P7B street appearance with 109k miles. It's the best car I've ever owned. I love it. Classic reliable muscle. No other brand or style compares. CVPIs are tanks.
Cool Vic 👍
Love it man
Super next level!!
I wanna build a crown Vic very similar to this… bad ass ride man
I love Sabella Joe!
Dayum! This Casper definitely isn’t friendly!😬🚘🥋
It’s a badass for sure
I've always thought about doing this.
Why haven't you?! Let's do it!
Do it!
@Netizen's United if you can afford any other v8 you can afford this
@Netizen's United they are but it’s not that bad... it was more the horrible transmissions
@Netizen's United true, I always think to myself that transmission technology has been one of the biggest changes in cars. Imagine if the vics had a transmission like the 10spd in the mustang. But the 6spd in that car is a riot I’m sure
3:45 nice interior/seats. 1997-2002 Town Car anyone? Panther bodies!😎👍🏼
That just spells FUN to me 👌👍
My 03 P71 is a lot of fun. Handles great (especially for the weight of the car) and you just can't kill'em. 243k on mine and still runs great. Doesn't burn a drop of oil. And they just feel solid. Planted to the road @ 120 all day. Buy them while you can guys! Cause they're getting harder and harder to find in clean condition.
The cold air intake was done right. Badass ride.
Hell yeah, it’s Casper
Yes it is!
Awesome sleeper Crown Victoria!
I love my CV LX. I love it. Others want to buy it but I won't sell. Mine is a 2001.I loooove it and I would buy another over these cars of today that I'm not impressed with.
Nuff respect to the crown vics!!
Sick crown vic
This car is on point!!
Glad to see this. Have a 92 I’ve contemplated make a sleeper out of lol
This is something you'd love to see on the Autobahn doing about 170 in the left lane, blinking and passing slower German tin.
Nicely done.
Definitely
hell ya man i love to do that to my 08 crown vic love it man
Yes please!
Great as ever shean
Thank you!
Very sweet!
I wish mine still had all the accessories. Whoever owned my P71 didn't take very good care of it and they Uninstaller the goods by finding the part, snipping the wire, and pulling it out. On the plus side, they did put some 2011 V6 Mustang wheels on it, so I cant complain. I call her Archangel.
Love these cars.
have to love there being universal transmissions that can handle alot of power that you can mate with just about any motor
Yoooooo i dig the casper shift knob and cars awesome to. I love that whistle sound
Something different! Rad car! Maybe I need a Crown Vic 🤣
I’m thinking I might need one now after driving this one!
Theyre fun and petty cheap if you can find a good deal
Sick!
King Vic...💪🏾man I love it
I wish I had the money to do that with my 2006 Crown Vic P71. I love that kick ass car.
I hope they make it back. So popular in Saudi. We call it the crocodile 😂😅
Any buyers over there??
That’s a cool sound.
